The ODS online printing is significantly cheaper when it works BUT certainly not worth the 2 hours of trying to get it sent to the local store. This is the 2nd time (and the last time) I've had a nightmare of order not going through. When you call for assistance, there are limited English speakers only and no supervisor or ability to route calls to the US. The in store folks at Office Depot, Hull St, Midlothian VA are fantastic but their hands are tied when trying to work with ODS.
I went to Office Depot o but a desktop PC. I was told they did not have what I was looking for but they could order of for next day pick-up. When I went to the desk to place my order, I was told I had to make my order online. I did not have a computer that worked so I called 1-800-GO-DEPOT and placed my order for next day pickup. After placing my order and accepting my payment and charging me twice they canceled my ordered. I went to Office Depot at Chantilly Crossing in Chantilly, Va, I was told that the order was never put in. I called Office Depot on what happen they had no explanation but I was charged and would get my money back in 3-5 days and they do not do next day pickup. After 5 days nothing so I call Office Depot and I was told I was charge twice it would take 3 to 7 business days to get my money back. The person I was talking with could not understand my concern so I asked to talk to a supervisor. When talking with a supervisor she could care less and when I ask her name she said they were not allowed to give their last name. She told I was only charged once but I was twice by Office Depot and my bank they charged me twice. After placing an order paying twice having my order canceled I could not get an explanation and nobody was willing to help me. After looking at add on my computer it said next day pickup but your customer service they do not do next day pickup. I will never buy from Office Depot ever again. Nobody seems to know anything, worse service ever. I anybody ask me I will tell them to stay away from Office Depot
I have been shopping with office depot for years I mean 20 years. Today I experienced the worst customer service and the worst service render. I'm looking to get something printed and laminated and on the website it has no ways to upload and easy to do so or start an order and, when I had to reach out to a text message corporate to make it happen they gave me the email address to store #2191, great I got some kind of connection and then, when I emailed them they gave me a link. How do businesses rely on so many steps when you are just trying to get a print and laminate of two pages. I got an email that stated there were some questions and to call. So I called and the person on the phone was extremely rude and said he was not going to do the order because they don't do email orders. (yet you have no way to upload an order unless you have a masters) I'm a simple customer that just wants a print job done. Every time I go into a Office Max/Office Depot there dead. Maybe focus on your customers, It might give UPS or Staples there run for their money. Save your time and money and stop shopping here,
The Cape Coral Office Depot on Pine Island Road is a total waste for printing copies, unless you have unlimited time to waste. After many visits I have always had to go elsewhere. The machines do not work. The employees are few (two) and they have long lines because they don't work much either. Today, one in three printing machines was working, about normal. But, it quit after I was down to only two waiting ahead of me.
I don't know if Office Depot bought out Foray pens, but the pens that come up when I look for them on Amazon and Walmart and Office Depot come up under the Office Depot brand. They SUCK the ink balls up at the end of the pen, the ink gets everywhere. I am left handed and as I write my hand goes over what was just written and smears on the paper, my hand and anything else that the side of my hand touches.
Don't buy from this company because their customer service doesn't keep their word. My realspace Treswell bonded leather fell apart after 3-year warranty period but Office Depot offered me a complimentary replacement on back and seat cushions. This was last May 2022. I have been calling customer service ever since last May checking on cushion(s) availability which never are. Today, 7 Mar
2023 their phone rep tells me that Office Depot is not obligated to replace my cushions since it is a complimentary order.
Office Depot delivered this on my porch. Each one of these boxes are well over 100 lbs.! They say, we can't do anything to help you get these into your house. That's why it's free delivery! I said what if I were handicapped? You wouldn't have an option for me to have them bring it in? They offered me $60, then $70, then $80 off my $600 order to "go find someone to help you get the boxes inside the door". Needless to say, I hung up.
I called the store and talked to the manager. Told her my situation. She also said she could do nothing to help me. I read their policy on their website and it says that some deliveries require appointments. I told her I believe this delivery qualifies. Also, her store was literally across the highway from my house not even a mile. She said she did not have anyone to send over, that she just had back surgery and couldn't help. Well I said my lower back has all herniated discs, I can't lift them either! She tells me "ya, but that wasn't available until last Fri." I said I ordered before last Friday! She said, "well ya, but it wasn't available until Fri." Unbelievable!
Moral of the story, if you are handicapped and need to order furniture, do not get it from Office Depot. They will drop it off on your porch and then it's your problem.
This store is a shadow of what it used to be, hardly any products, most product on shelf are old or out of date, staff are not caring, the return policy is maxed out at 14 days, the Allstate extended warrantee they sell is a complete joke, the store will not honor it you have go through a major drama just to get in contact with Allstate. Etc etc etc. will never, ever be shopping with this chain ever again. Horrible experience.
The staff at the Tigard Sequoia Office Depot are absolutely the most helpful and knowledgeable! I had an issue with one of their office chairs I purchased and they were able to think outside of the box and solve my problem! I take my hat off to them for a job well done!
I just had the worst experience ever. I am a small business owner I have used my local store at congress ave and boynton beach blvd in florida for many years. I went to drop a big job and I was told by the printing manager that they close at 7pm I was in shock really? Since when? This is disturbing because I only use office depot. They have lost a customer. Gave 2 star bc they always done a good job. Please do better with your communication with the customer's.

This is not a good review I'm very disappointed. I've been standing in line to order something at the desk for over an hour. I also can the day before but the gentleman told me that he didn't know how to size anything on his computer so I need to find someone to size it then come back. I came back today with the hopes of different staff members but nope. Same staff with 3 guys one running the cash register and the other running around looking crazy and the main guy in printing stuck with a line and if you ask the other guys they say they don't know how to do what he does. Wow and I'm still standing here typing this. Crazy
We live high up in the mountains we ordered a printer from these people to pick up curbside we were headed there to go pick it up and I just something told me to call them and I found out that they didn't even have the damn printer so 2 hours down there 2 hours back a waste of our day so we ordered it online instead we're sitting here waiting for our order to be delivered today or tomorrow and we just now get an email saying it's canceled call the customer service at 1-800 go Depot we did it's all automated you can't get anybody I did a live chat and every time I ask somebody why it was canceled everybody goes away nobody can answer my question so now we can't meet our deadline because we don't have our printer and this is twice now with these people I say go Staples f*** office Depot
I am in the process of renovating my home office. I found a desk that was perfect online from Office Depot. I went to the local store to find that the desk was marked "Delivery Only." So, I ordered the desk online. Office Depot charged my credit card at the time of order and promised the desk within days. They missed several delivery dates. After hours on the phone with their customer service people, I was promised delivery today. They delivered a printer cartridge labeled as a desk. Again, I called customer service. They said the desk was not available and I would have to wait until the printer cartridge was back in their warehouse before I would receive a refund. I reported the transaction as fraud to my credit card company and ordered the desk from Amazon.
Life is too short for the incompetence of Office Depot. Order from Amazon. Office Depot should hire whoever trains employees for Amazon and/or Capital One. Do better, Office Depot!
Office Depot immediately sold my email address after placing an order. I started receiving some 30-50 new subscriptions within three days of placing an order with them. Go to a brick and mortar store and avoid there marketing.
I will never buy anything from Office Depot that requires delivery they charge u for installation and they never show up. I call the manager inquiring about the installers he hangs up on me very professional I went in person so I can speak to him and he wouldn't refund me for the installation of a $105 even though I gave him the order number not to mention being rude.
The office depot in fort smith Arkansas is NOT worth your time. I wanted to have ONE fan replaced, and I had the replacement part. Dropped off the laptop and the replacement part Wednesday morning. It is now Sunday afternoon, and I had to leave without the service being completed. I was given a refund thank god and the reason they gave me was they didn't have the right tools to complete the job. I just find it interesting that a company who offers tech support services didn't have the right tools for this kind of job. I won't be going back to them for any kind of service. If I could rate them lower I would.
