I guess it is really not OfferUps' fault. I don't get the thrill of making an offer to a seller that you really don't want the item in the first place. I finally decided that my time is more valuable to me than to wait around for someone who isn't going to show up.
I decided I'd rather give the stuff to charity rather to some jerk (s) wasting my time.
Don't you idiots have something better to do? Are you really that board? Some people really need this income and to make false bids with no intention to buy is just plain wrong.

First of all why do people not read the post before making a comment. The very first line I have my location, people still ask where are you located when they're three hours away from me, second of all there are so many scammers they will not return a message and finally people have things that have been posted for 2 and 3 years that are no longer available why don't they delete them. I have blocked more people in the last week then I have in the last 2 years. Why are people so ignorant.

So I thought, why not see what offerup is all about. Well they sent me a offer that was about 20-30 THOUSAND dollars below what the other houses have sent for in my neighborhood this year. Same style of homes, built the same year etc etc (they are townhouses). About 6 towmhomes have sold in my community this year, all 20-30 thousand dollars more than offers offer. On top of that, they charge you like they are a realtor... I thought the whole point of offer up was to not have all those charges. Nope. I have about 30k in equity in my home, but to see it to offer up, I was going to need to pay 5-10 thousand dollars. I would loose money selling to these jokers.

I made 3 offers on 3 different guitar amplifiers. All 3 had been sold over a year ago and couldn't remove their ad or find help to have it removed. Then I inquired about a ratty chair listed as "Free". The seller emailed me saying it was $200. On top of that if you find something to bid on while online you are redirected to try the app. You go to the app and you can't find the original item you wanted to bid on. Infuriating. DO NOT waste your time.

I HAD A TRAVEL TRAILER POSTED ON MY OFFERUP AD & SO MANY PEOPLE CONTACTED ME BUT ONE IN PARTICULAR PERSON CONTACTED FOR DAYS IN ROW & THEN ASKED WHERE IT WAS LOCATED & HE DROVE BY SOMETIME TO SCOPE IT OUT THEN HE MESSAGED ME BACK SAYING HE'S
NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING THE TRAILER HE SAID IT HAD TO MUCH DAMAGE SO I TOLD HIM YOU LOOKED AT WRONG TRAILER HE SAID OH WHAT
THEN HE STARTED TO MESSAGE ME AGAIN & STARTED TO GET VERBAL WITH ME SO I TOLD HIM THIS TRAILER IS NOT FOR YOU & HE SAID I'M COMING OVER TO KNOCK YOUR TEETH IN & IF WASNT THERE HE WOULD STEAL THE TRAILER & BY THE TIME I GOT BACK THE TRAILER WAS GONE SO POSTED INFO ABOUT HIM
AND OFFERUP TOOK MY ACCOUNT DOWN FOR NO REASON AT ALL

I had 38 5 gold stars been using for over a year. Had problems with scammers. People who harassed me. Waste my time. Loading issues. Can't respond, etc. And then all of a sudden, they close my account, delete and deactivate it? Wtf did I do? I sent them a email and they said support team would look into it? I emailed them, after email. My whole account vanished. Some things real fishy here. I'll go back to old faithful Craigslist. I just liked offer up so you could see who, and what rating of person your buying from. But oh well, everytime I buy or sell something people always said, you actually are the only one who kept there word and showed up and didn't bs. But there gonna keep scammers, and unknown people and delete someone with outstanding reviews. I will not be making another account. That's one less person using there app. Less money for them. I'll let them and idiots that continue using it use it.

You'll get NO SUPPORT from this dumb and dumber app but as a selling tool it is okay as long as you don't have a question or need help. I'll say it AGAIN, there is absolutely NO SUPPORT so in that respect it sucks. On top of that you'll have to put up with the dumb emails the app sends to you as a seller trying to get you to buy other peoples stuff. Duh, if I want something I'll go look for it. Why does the dumb $#*! app think it has any remote idea of what, when, why that I may want something..
