Nextdoor is a great link to your local neighbors for sharing information and recommendations on local businesses, events, and attractions. It is hartening the speed and support that the community provides to share support in finding lost pets, providing comfort to needy neighbors, or providing suggestions or information for neighbors with questions or concerns.

Next door is disgusting. Bias, libturded cesspool of communistic garbage. NO freedom of speech allowed! It's NOT about your neighborhood safety to fellowship. It's about woke racism. F- Nanny Next door!

I have been on this site now for a number of months in my neighbourhood and surrounding areas, I do like to post what is happening whether it be good bad or indifferent.
I have posted many things that have been reported in the news or in the local newspaper and in doing so I have been subject to what I will call blatent woke censorship which is totally wrong when what i have posted was and is happening around Yorkshire.
If you are running something like this that is meant for neighbourhoods around the country then surely what is happening in those neighbourhoods should be reported and open to discusion. Legitimate newspaper stories or TV news should be made open to everyone and not shut down because it upsets one or two people if you don't like it don't read it that's my opinion but having said that my opinion seems to get me banned so as far as I'm concerned it's not worth joining this site. I have also just found out that it is run by a woke facebook team so thst explains volumes.

This is the worst app. The is a forum for bullying. I have tried the app twice and it is nothing but a place for people to get away with bullying. I received some unbelievable comments just because I posted thaat the firework were scary for the animals. So glad I deleted the app which includes mostly bullies and incompetent people.

Posted a post about Texas Education Association meeting to discuss Sex education curriculum and what they were considering teaching which included Abstinence, birth control and LGBT. A parent asked Is this being taught and how we go about i finding it out and if we go against it, we are called names. I replied back:" I rather be called names than to have schools teach my kids things that go against my values. Yes, it can happen. We already have drag queens reading to our kids in this state. This is why it is important to know what is being taught in your kid's schools, During virtual learning, pay attention what is going on and being taught. By the way parents ALWAYA have a say,"
My account was terminated for 31 days for discrimination. Discrimination of what?.

I posted today on Ramona, California, USA's Nextdoor, "Albertson's is safer store to shop in, now" because after I interviewed, by phone, this AM, the managers of the only two grocery stores in our town, only ONE was implementing the mandatory face covering regulation in our county, for shoppers. The post was removed within a short time, by the local admins. This is a matter of dire importance to public health in the midst of a serious pandemic. I think my post should be reinstated. There was nothing out of line with what I posted. The people in the community need to know what the County requires and which stores are and aren't implementing these public safety regulations. I am a national activist on another important public health topic and feel certain that Nextdoor (national) would not condone removal of this important information. I believe that local admins should be better screened. The ones in our area should be removed.

NextDoor is a great concept, designed for greed, poorly executed and managed by under-paid kids.

Censorship - If it was consistent, it would work. It is not. Leads don't follow guidelines and suspend members who are no more guilty than their friends/powerbase.

"It's Us or Them" Mentality - Leads develop a siege mentality and strike down any dissention.

Mob Rule - No justice, no consistency, only hyper-local cults of personality.

Who's In Charge? - Once Leads are chosen, THEY ARE ENTRENCHED. No chance for new blood. (Who would dilute their own power, right?)

ND Admins - Millennials, working 9 to 5 behind a desk in Silicon Valley... what can you really expect? I bet the job of answering member emails is used as a form of punishment. You have no recourse in a neighborhood going of the rails.

You have a lot of people with nothing to do except report people even if the report is wrong, just to harass you. The leads tend to do favoritism. They get nasty even when there is a good reason to report a post. There is no way to block people from contacting you or having anything to do with your post. The Mute button is the most stupidest thing the person came up with, you cannot see their post if you mute them but they can still see what you post and still contact you. I guess that is why they are called idiots. The owner/founder of Next-door is in trouble with the Law.

I was being attacked for simply stating everyone has the right to their own opinion on whether or not they should be vaxxed and was SUSPENDED! Multiple people shamed ME and said I was a threat to society for spreading such "misinformation". Really? I'm suspended but they were not. What alternative is there, HELP!
