Card verification requires some manual actions with the service agent. This procedure however is never described in any documents like FAQ.
Besides, the method of "verification amount" is very weird.
A bit expensive shippment fee compared to similar companys. Other than that I have been having a good experience with Myus. Thanks to all customer service representative specially Luke for quick and elaborated response.
I must say thanks to Doniel Dean who has been of great help throughout our email communication. I was able to have questions answered and was awarded the 30% of discount I was promised with first time shipment. I happened to come upon this site via a google search which solved my problem of having items shipped to me in bklyn, then having it shipped again overseas. I like myus.com because they do the work for you. I'm sure my nieces and nephews would be happy with their xmas gifts!

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time.
