I was quite stuck in a shipping situation and Doniel Dean really helped me out! Given how new I am to the MyUS service, the timely assistance gave me reassurance of the service!
My first experience with MyUS wasn't too satisfying, that's also the reason why I can just give four stars overall. Well, I had to ask to apply the promised discount to my account and have also been charged few dollars more than quoted in the invoice.
However the MyUS customer service is really amazing. First Joseph, then Doniel and more than anybody Luke, who was very patient and supportive, have been resolved all the issues so that I'm totally satisfied with MyUS after all.
I just hope that the customs will now finally accept the invoice, but if not it's not really the fault of MyUS as they couldn't know what to state in the invoice. However it would be good if the clients could give some advice to MyUS in terms of what has to be stated in the invoice before the invoices are attached to the shipments. This would be very helpful and save a lot of time on both sides.
But I really can't complain how fast and solution-focused the MyUS support has always responded to me. That's really an outstanding experience, many thanks again to Joseph and Doniel and a special thanks goes to Luke! Really appreciate your amazing support guys!

Answer: Micaela, it all depends on the rules in Peru. I'm a MyUS customer and one of the reasons I like their service is because they give me a discount on the shipping cost, each time. There's an option in your shipping settings where you can select 'label as gift', usually customs aren't charged on gift items. Maybe you should try that once. Works for me all the time. I hope someone from MyUS will respond to your question and give you a more satisfying answer. All the best.
