I should have known it was too good to be true to be getting such inexpensive airfare, but they seemed legit, so... booked with them. What a god-awful mistake that was! We booked the flight back in January, before the virus situation had really taken hold. We paid our $3800 to MyTrip.com and they booked a flight for us using Air Italy. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later Air Italy went bankrupt. Out of luck, right? So sad for us. But not really, read on...
Air Italy's website says they are issuing refunds to customers. "Work through your travel agent and they will give you a refund." So, I call MyTrip and after sitting on hold for hours, being kicked off, calling back, rude customer service - I am told "Nope, you have to call Air Italy because they haven't issued us a Waiver code." So, back on the phone with Air Italy who says "nope, your travel agent has to work with us, get the code, then issue you a refund.
Back to MyTrip, who tells me the airline is wrong. They have to write "please issue refund" in the reservation and they'll give us the money back. I've been back and forth so many times and I even offered to do a conference call, where all 3 of us can talk. Of course, MyTrip person did not go for that.
I'm so frustrated and I'm betting I'll never see a penny of that money back! So, I have vowed that I will report this company to BBB in USA and will write a review in every outlet I can find. And I'll do this day after day, week after week.
Again - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I would have read all the bad reviews, but unfortunately I did not.

It was a unforgettably hideous experience with the customer service team, and the application, as both of them are clearly sub-par to the standards the market can generally offer.
It was a flight on September 6 from AEP to IGR via My trip, yet, though clearly booked the flight at 1045h which was shown on the website and the app accordingly. However, we only realized we are not on the 1045h flight only when we reached the airport at 9am but on an earlier flight on the same day.
We thought that miscommunication or misunderstanding happens and kind of part of our daily life now, yet the response time of the MyTrip team was way too slow, which is 2 days, the LIVEchat is the only option or call, which is not user-friendly for any foreign visitors, and the hideous MyTrip care team would hurry ending up the chat, whilst the refund or compensation requests have to be done within 48 hours since the departure time, and none can be done from the airline and MyTrip, as both of them denied the liability, while we ended up paying extra for another flight in that evening.
Please do NOT use this online agency just because of the price, you might end up spending extra time and cost on your flight wasting your spare time, holiday, ruining your schedule after all.
My daugher booked a flight from bulgaria to cochin last month(wizair). But wizair canceled flight. My trip didn't return money.
NEVER use Mytrip! I used Mytrip as when searching for the best deal on Skyscanner they had a cheapish option. However I have ended up losing money and are not able to go on holiday.
I booked an easyjet flight through Mytrip and recently easyjet cancelled the flight. Easyjet said they would refund me the whole amount. However, as I booked through Mytrip, the refund amount goes directly to them and they then take £30 of the refund as a 'processing fee' to then send the rest of the refund to me. So in summary, I lose £30 for something that is completely out of my control.
For my return flights, again I was told by the airline that I could get a voucher for the full amount. However, it goes back to Mytrip who then issue a 'Mytrip voucher' so you have to book with Mytrip again in the future and not direct with the airline. When you rebook in the future, Mytrip again take £30 booking fee. IT IS RIDICULOUS! I cannot believe they are ok with doing this as a company. The airlines have been great but Mytrip has made me never want to use an agent again and are probably damaging the reputation of some agents out there who are probably quite good.
I also had to wait an hour and 45 mins to get through to Mytrip. Once I got through, they kept putting me on hold for 5 mins. At one point on the call, I asked if they could hold for one minute while I discussed the voucher option with my boyfriend and the agent said she could only wait for a maximum of 40 seconds. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever received. I am shocked that companies like this are even allowed to operate as feel like I've been scammed slightly. Anyway, my fault for not looking at reviews and have learnt my lesson for next time.

This company is a joke! We tried for 2 weeks to change our flight from Colombia to Brazil as we bought 2 flexi tickets. First problem is …. YOU CAN NEVER GETTO SPEAK TO THEM!
We had to pay a friend in England to try to change our tickets …. She had no joy either as they kept saying our tickets were not flexible …. Clearly, they were!
They emailed us a link that we could change our flights (2 days before) with an additional cost of £305 …. Which took the total cost to over £700! We attempted to take this ridiculous offer 6 hours later, and the link came back saying it had expired!
We then could not get in touch AGAIN!,
In the end we had to cancel the flights as it got to being within 24 hours of take off!
They then informed us that we would receive nothing back … NOT EVEN OUR FUEL CHARGES!
HOW on gods earth are you allowed to get away with this behaviour …. This is a reputable airline that has robbed us of over £400!

I must say that the original booking process was relatively straight forward. The unforeseen all too common extra charges weren't that bad. Had to pay for a support package' - surely you would expect a travel agent to support its customers regardless! I paid for the choose seats' option only to be informed afterwards that it just meant that they will request that we sit together - there is NO choice of seat involved - misleading. We are flying with Gulf Air and if I try to manage my booking with Gulf Air it states that my PNR is restricted, in other words only mytrip can change my booking and there is where the problems start. Trying to contact mytrip is an expensive, time consuming and fruitless exercise. The only way is to call a premium rate number that is presented on all emails and their website as *******881 it is not stated that it's a premium number and there is no alternative, not sure but I thought that it's a legal requirement now. I also feel that it's presented in that way to disguise the fact that it's a 0844 number. I've called three times now - times of waiting to actually speak to someone has varied between 40mins & 105mins. Each time the immediate answer is contact the airline - what's the point in buying a support package - then when I've said that the airline have said that only mytrip can change the flight I've been told that there will be an administration charge and someone one will call me back - 10 days and I'm still waiting.
If you make a booking and have no reason for changes to be made by yourself or the airline/hotel etc., and don't have the need of support and guidance from a customer service team then mytrip may be for you. Personally I will not be using them again.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
