I booked a flight for March 2021 and it was cancelled by airlines. Mytrip said that I will be getting a full refund and yet they said they won't ask AirAsia for a refund because AirAsia is a small airlines company and that I have to ask refund from them myself. So I did. And I waited for 7 months for Mytrip to contact me. 2 months ago I got curious and checked my refund status online and found that AirAsia refunded the money 5 months ago and Mytrip has been holding the money ever since. They are the literal definitions of travel agency scammers. I have called their customer service more than 7 times in the past 2 months and they keep saying that I will get my money back in 7-10 days. Please don't EVER use this website. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.
Avoid using this company at all costs...
This is the one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with and they have blatantly just taken money from us.
I booked flights to Portugal from the UK when Portugal was on the green list. I was worried about Covid so I paid almost £200 in cancellation coverage. The summary of what I paid was as follows:
£1249. 31 for flights
£329.94 for checked baggage
£114 for hand baggage
£27.43 for airline collapse cover
£170 for a Cancellation Guarantee
£215.92 for seat reservations.
Portugal went onto Amber and it was now UK government guidance not travel for holidays. And so I phoned up MyTrip thinking I could cancel the flights (as per the 10% insurance I had paid) and get my >£2000 back. That or at least just move the whole flight a year forward so hold onto everything and book a year out.
I should be so lucky. The whole set up with MyTrip is a scam. My only option after being on hold for hours with them (we had to call multiple times) will be to get about 20-25% of the total I paid in VOUCHERS with this horrible company! The rest of my money has all gone according to Mytrip and of course none of it is their fault.
I asked what the £170 for cancellation protection I paid for was for and they said that was for the 20-25% voucher I'm getting back...
The whole thing screams of a scam and I would warn anyone from using this company.
Worst company ever! Get you to sign up for services which dont exist and then refuse to reimburse you. Plus I never waited less than 2 hours to speak to a clueless customer service agent.
I booked ticket, was cancelled due to Corona, Airline refunded to Mytrip, they confirmed to receive, but since one month no response, looks they want to grab it. What a shame.
Works great! I love it. Everything is quick and easy and works very fluidly.

Calling call center asking for booking changes. Waited for 40mins, someone answered and asking for information, after searching for my bookings, she put me on hold for another 30mins, then a guy answered and ask for booking number again, then told me that there's errors on his computer and need to transfer me to another department, this time I was on hold for more than an hour and I gave up. Nothing was being resolved. Mytrip is the worst agency I have encounter, I will definitely not using Mytrip again. I think it is a total scam. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY
I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with their service. My flight was canceled and more than 4 months later this company is still refusing to refund My money($796.02). They informed me 4 months ago that "due to the current situation with Covid-19 my refund request for order # L1L7S3 is still pending with the airline(s)". I called Lufthansa and they told me that since I made the my reservation with My Trip, I must request my refund to them. I will never use My Trip again and I don't recommend this Travel Agency to anyone. Stay away from My Trip.
I purchased a ticket and my return flight was booked for a different day. I received a confirmation with the correct date but when I look at the ticket the date of travel was changed after.
I booked for 6 to Florida, due to fly out in June 2020, then Covid happened. Tried to get a refund for £2850 for several months, but was told on numerous occasions that I couldn't. I eventually got speaking to someone who told me that I was due a refund, and even then when I was speaking to the rep, I got an email reply to a request I'd sent that morning, saying that I wasn't due a refund! The rep on the phone simply told me to ignore the email! A really disorganised company, except when they're taking your booking. No postal address to contact them either, very dodgy! I eventually got a refund 7 months after the cancellation of the flight. FYI a work colleague was booked on the same flight, but through a different company, and he got a refund after 3 months. Please just AVOID Mytrip. The stress of it all has helped me lose a few extra Christmas pounds though.
My flight time was changed. ''My trip'' sent me a message regarding that and stating that I have 5 days to confirm. 2 hours later they sent me a new e-ticket but I didn't agree on that since time was not suitable for me. Impossible to contact by phone. Sent an email but 7 days later still no reply although it is stated that they will reply in 5 days. The airline is asking me for an additional charge like I'm changing a ticket on my own. WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER USE MY TRIP AGAIN.
I called 3 times and I am calling from overseas
So they have the same excuse to call them later because they have issues in there system and the need more experience with Dealing with there customers, they are so road and I don't recommend them to anyone
They changed my flight From Buenos Aires to Lima multiple times and never answered the phone. Customer service is the worst, never replied emails and took ages to answer any phone. I can't say this strong enough, ¡NEVER BUY WITH MY TRIP!
I wish I had just booked the flight directly through the airline. Going through MyTRIP has been a nightmare. Difficult to get hold of, and when my flight was changed so I had the option to either get a refund, credit or rebook I had to go through MyTrip to arrange this (rather through straight through the airline where I would have had my refund by now). I then emailed MyTrip to arrange the refund but they said it cant be done through email, I need to call them - but the number they gave me charges you to call! Since then I have emailed back requesting the refund again yet they now just won't reply.
I will NEVER book through this company again and I strongly suggest others not to as well.
Booked with mytrip.com on 11th of june and found out there some error in my surname sent them an email asking to correct this error same day of booking and followed with my passport copy as they request. Since that time no one contact me at all and i keep sending them emails for updates with No REPLY AT ALL!
Now a days any company using customer care and support in their business the first thing you asked to valuated this company ithe level of customer SERVICES and support they have and as you read here the support services is below ZERO
PS. when i read some review down here i found some replies from mytrip.com team for some complaints and other review with no comment from the team! Is that mean the Complaint true and they will not solve their problems!
I purchased a flight Miami-Buenos Aires with stop in Lima, flying with Latam airlines. They booked me two separate flights, one from Miami to Lima, and another one from Lima to Buenos Aires. They should have book me one flight with connection, that way I don't have to do emigration, and get suitcases, get my dog, etc, imposible to do in two hours.
I called them more than 10 times. They don't care. I am gonna ended booking another fly. DO NOT FLY WITH THEM.
Booked a flight that was later canceled by the airline. My Trip has not provided any help in getting a refund. They have no customer support, only a call center that has lied to us for 3 months. They blame the airline, the airline requires all refunds to go through My Trip and has stated that My Trip has not gone through the proper steps to secure the refund. It has been a horrible experience that is on going. Fraudulent company, DO NOT BOOK A TRIP WITH My Trip!
After 3 months of telling me the same answer, "We contacted the airline", they were useless and asked to contact the manager nobody reached me, make yourself a favor and never order my trip.
I recommend that no one used MyTrip.com ever. The customer service is unhelpful and rude. I was left stranded in Düsseldorf airport when trying to connect through there.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
