After the airline cancelled one of the flights within the ticket less than 1 week before departure, MyTrip failed to find a replacement (on which they informed me 2 weeks before flight), and cancelled the ticket. Now, more than 2 months later, I still have not received my refund, nor can MyTrip guarantee the time or AMOUNT (!) of the refund. The ticket value is substantial. Due to MyTrip's failure, I was forced to purchase a ticket 50% more expensive from another provider. MyTrip fails to take responsibility for its customers. They keep informing me that they cannot do anything until they receive refund from the airline. From my perspective, this is their internal process, which is none of my concern, as I purchased the ticket from MyTrip, not the airline.
I do not recommend this travel agency especially during COVID-19 times. One of the flights I'd booked with them was cancelled by the airline and was issued a refund from their side. However nothing arrived in my account because the booking was done through this agency and prevented them from seeing any payment details. I contacted Mytrip and got told they needed to inquire with the airline again for the refund, but that a charge almost equal to my refundable amount was going to apply, although this was never mentioned anywhere at the time of booking. I insisted that the airline had already sent them the amount more than a month ago and that I had proof from the airline which I could forward onto them, but was told that would involve a lot of work on their side so they would still charge me. I ended up not getting my money back so was extremely upset having spent a considerable amount of time trying to get this sorted and will definitely never use their service again.
I went to book, and the site bugged out three different times when trying to enter payment information. By the time I could finally book, prices magically went up--twice! The price I found was $591. When finally entering in my credit card "prices have changed" to $681. What a scam.
I jumped at the price on Skyscanner and booked a round trip flight from the US to Mexico. I had never heard of mytrip and didn't think to check the reviews before purchasing. Suffice it to say, I was fully expecting something to go wrong prior to our trip. Everything worked (aside from some delays from the airlines). If you want my recommendation, stay away from mytrips to avoid the stress but it actually can work out.
The least that is mentioned about them are thieves and swindlers. When they get your money, know that you lost it completely and no one answer in the service of the work, even the response via e-mail comes late, in the case if the response was done at all and all ways said lie
We had booked two tickets for 15th August 2018 from Kuwait to Amsterdam which was cancelled couple of days prior to flying. Called them multiple times and sent them multiple emails, no response and still the refund has not been credited to my credit card.
Every time a call is made, they say we will send and email to expedite and nothing happens.
Not sure how come people are still using such sites and they are not sued for cheating people and take them to task.
Seems like it is high time now and they should be taken to task.
I booked a flight using MyTrip.com and had major difficulties with their website. I attempted to opt out of certain things and their site wouldnt let me. Before I knew it I had a non refundable $100 seat selection fee (I opted out several times!)I also could not appropriately enter my email address and my name! I had to jump through a bunch of hoops just to get my details correct but was told nothing can be done with the seat fee. Sounds like entrapment to me! Best to use any other site!

Paid for a flexible ticket and had to phone to re-schedule flight. Just been told no flights from the country i live in, doesn't make sense as there are 4 alone from one company, every day!
Then tried to tell me that there is one flight, on the one day i couldn't do, at a further cost of £1200!
Complete con, don't use.
Also gotogate and MyTrip is the same company.
I bought flight ticket with mytrip in December, still by today they refusing to issue Invoice. Only thing I received from them is booking confirmation. I have called them and spoke to an agent who promised me that invoice will be sent, still nothing... I chat on mytrip-facebook site with their representative, same issue - he promised to send but still no invoice.
If you buying a ticket and need invoice for a company - don't purchase your ticket through mytrim.com
These people are trained to scam you. They purposely increase the pricing on your ticket and when you call about it they tell you there's a cancellation fee. AVOID AT ALL COST
Now if you cancel they've made money without even providing you a booking. Unbelievable that business like this still exist. It's blatant robbery.

I booked two Icelandair ticket through them and I got a cancellation notification less than 12 hours afterwards.
They didn't confirm the cancellation. They didn't issue an automatic refund. I spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get through some helpdesk. When I finally got through they wanted to charge me an "additional $30 to go ahead with the refund which would take 2-3 months to go through".
It's a scam. Stay away. And if you do, be prepared to ask your credit card company for a chargeback.
Paid for a Flexi ticket but to change your flight you must call. On hold for minimum 3 hours before being directed to another department for another couple of hours. Then to be hung up on. I hope this company liquidates, the employees have terrible karma stacked against them
Cannot give no stars so gave 1. This company took my money and never paid Fastjet for my return flight. They are saying that the flight was not cancelled and now they agree that it is cancelled. Have now been told I wont get any money back as it is less than their handling fee? What handling fee - when was I made aware of this they owe me just under £500! Disgusting am going to post anywhere I can find how disgusting this company is.
Good afternoon. I have a departure on 09.01, I asked for a refund, May trip refuse to make a refund. I have already applied to Turkish Airlines, and they said that they are required to make a refund and only withhold a fine of 260, but despite this, they still refuse to return the money. We have been talking to them for 2 days now. We cannot resolve this issue. Help us please.
I had to get a name change on my ticket due to one of my passengers having health issues. I was informed by both the Airline AND a MyTrip Agent that this would be possible. MyTrip emailed me a link to pay for this change, and asked for me to send over the passport of the new passenger. I paid over $300 for this, and sent the passport then they email that these changes aren't possible due to "airline policy" when the airline told me that they do allow name changes but they can only be done by the MyTrip agents. They lied to me, stole my money, and have caused me so much stress and financial unrest.
Girlfriend and I booked flights through this company. Total frauds. Said our flight would be delayed two days and that they can't really do anything about it except cancel. Still waiting on refund... its been a month. DONT MAKE OUR MISTAKE!
I have a very bad experience with Mytrip bought my ticket and after aweek the airline sent me directly cancellation notice showing my refund amount.
When trying to talk to Mytrip they have lied to me several times my refund will be shown in the next 72 hours this has been going more than a month! Now discrace dont buy Mytrip!

Mytrip.com has become a company I would never want to do business with. My initial flight from Newark to Los Angeles was cancelled by the airline. I contacted mytrip.com because it would mean I would probably lose my connecting flight to Guadalajara. However, nothing was done but the company (I would call them and they would hang up the phone). As a result I had to get a new ticket to Los Angeles (making a stop in Las Vegas and not straight as it originally was) and I had to buy a new ticket to Guadalajara which cost significantly more since I lost my flight from Los Angeles to Guadalajara and I and to buy it last minute.
I never received a refund for my ticket from Los Angeles to Guadalajara or for anything even though I made numerous attempts to get in contact with the mytrip.com customer service they continue to decline my calls after seeing my order number. I've included the screenshots of my chat conversation with them.

Answer: NO! They won't provide any service, unless you pay a penalty. Even if you need assistance for a situation that is outside your responsibility. This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
