HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Horrible experience
Really bad experience with this agency, my flight got cancelled because of Covid19 in March and we are in November and I'm still waiting for my refund, they just give me excuses about it when the airline already refund them the money and they are obviously refusing to give my money back.

Horrible experience I would never recommend to anyone this agency.

Hopefully, this will help someone to avoid to buy a ticket from them before is too late, do not trust this company.

NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS!

NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS! Due to internet connectivity issues, I accidentally booked the same flight (same names, travel dates, flight times - everything) twice. I attempted to cancel within 24 hours. Every time I call, I am on hold for 2 hours. They cannot address any of my issues, They say I must speak to the airline - the airline has approved the refund but they have held my money. I disputed with my credit card and now they will not process the refund for another 2 months due to the dispute. Total scam, 0 customer service. They wont answer and will not pick up.

Purchased airline tickets 5 months in advance to Disneyland. Insurance was purchased. Had boarding email confirm for the next day flight. Went to airport to find that airline had cancelled the flight two months prior. Asked airline for help and they said that "My Trip" has been credited the money the day of cancellation. Airline said that it was a weird purchase because numerous credit cards were used from all over the world to pay for the flight. Asked "My Trip" for refund. No. We had to threaten "My Trip" with Capital One Freud investigation. "My Trip" after 6 threatening lengthy phone calls returned 80% of our money coming in from multiple credit cards and taking 2 months to credit our account. Kayak is the company that recommended "My Trip" Do Not Use this company

I have been trying to get my money back from mytrip for 3 months, the airline have refunded back to them but I can not get my money, I have had over 10 phone calls! Noting this all started by the fact that despite us paying for flexible tickets when our son fell ill and we have to change our flights they could not do it and we had to go direct Overall this company is a shambles avoid at all costs.

Worst ever

They charged about $500 for a flexible ticket and guaranteed cancellation but it's impossible to contact them. They deliberately made it so hard to contact them so they don't have to deal with it. Do not use this platform

Hopeless customer service, appalling behaviour. I am still waiting to be refunded for a flight cancellation by the airline in early December 2022 and Mytrip want to charge me a cancellation fee for that.
I purchased this flight through Mytrip application and they are saying that I have to dispute this with the airliner.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Me and my wife got a flight from Austin to San Francisco (Roundtrip). I payed $646.-. I just called Alaska Airlines to cancel the flight because of the Corona Virus Situation. Guess what: Alaska Airlines would give me a certificate for $278.-, because that's what the actual cost is for those flights! So, my trip overcharged me with $368?!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?!? I understand, that they would charge something extra for their service (what ever that service is?), but $368.-?!?!?!? The best part is, you can't contact them. The phone line let you know that there is a over 2 hour wait time and hangs up. I tried to find a email contact form they're talking about online... nothing! I believe I have to say goodbye to my hard earned money?!?!? WTF! I hope the Corona Virus will make them go bankrupt!

Firstly the prices are hyped in between booking and changes. Secondly they say flexiticket which allows you to change by the changed price is so high that it's better to book a normal ticket. Lastly the cancellation charges are extremely high that you can't cancel even when they claim cancellation is possible. The whole trip was a scam with all my money wasted.

Make a complaint to ACCC. Hey everybody, who can't contact mytrip.com travel agent. If you live in Australia, please make your complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) https://www.accc.gov.au/
If this business doesn't care about their clients, we should ask for the legal process. It is not ok to leave your clients without help. Thank you mytrip.com for not helping, not answering emails, disconnecting phone number.

A bunch of robbers

I bought some flying tickets with them, they change the flight times or the airline... when I contacted them to tell them that the new times didn't suit me, and I would like a refund, they told me that for the refund I would have to pay them half of the price the ticket cost me... I would stay well cleared from booking anything with them, they are a bunch of robbers just after your money... be aware.

I purchase a flight with cancellation guarantee that would provide a voucher of 90% cost in case of cancellation for any reason. I called to the service and they told me to cancel the flight with the airline first and then to request a refund. So, I cancelled the flight and made numerous attempts to call, but the line was unavailable. Therefore, I send a mail to customer service with the information about flight cancellation and request of refund. The company did not provide a refund with the argument that I sent them a mail instead of calling to them. What an absurd!

Worst booking platform. They dont even have a centralised system. I had to pay an additional 170 eur to change my booking dates just as processing fee to mytrip on top of the fees paid to the airline. You have to call them for hours to get connected to their customer care because you cant manage your booking yourself online!

USELESS AGENCY

I realised my surname was wrong because it was auto filled by Google to my maiden name. Then I call the agency Immediately this is 6 months before my flight. I called almost 50 times and exchanged almost 20 emails. They sent me payment link after payment link for name correction but nothing been done till the end. They said the airline asking you to pay this fee for changes etc few times same story when I called the airline they have no record of my case from agency and the airline asked me to stop paying and they will fix the problem at the airport just asked me to bring necessary documents. This is the No. 1 useless and unreliable agency. I paid for child meal for my daughter and I didn't get child meal for all the four long haul flights I took. Now I am asking for REFUND for the payment I did for name correction no idiots handling my case. Purely fraud agency.

The Worst!& How Disappointed service!

I have changed my return ticket and paid for $73.5 for flight change.
They have newly booked my return flight with wrong name.
So,I asked for to correct my name, then they sent email to pay S$60.00 to correct name.
I replied them why I have to pay for it because this is not my fault.
Their team booked my name wrongly.
But they never replied me.
Lol service!
I swore I would never use this third party, my trip!

I usually do not want to harm anybody, but here is my experience with mytrip.com where i lost 1100$ because i booked on Friday evening, and found out a mistake in my eticket the next day that happened to be a week end.

1. I received an e-ticket with a truncated name
2. I was unable to reach anyone in customer support on saturday to fix the name as requested by turkish airlines
3. I had to buy a new ticket
4. The ticket issued by mytrip.com was not used.
5. I called many time the support to claim a refund, without success. They do not accept any refund.
I lost 1100$ dealing with this company.
I wonder how can i user can just put the 1st 2 characters of his name?
Turkish Airlines told me that they do not have a problem if Mytrip.com adjust the name, but nobody was available from their side.

Scammers

As others have said, there is no means of complaining or talking to anyone. Links don't work, website doesn't work. Unable to add luggage. Completely useless. Avoid this company. Note to anyone looking for a refund - you can get a chargeback from your credit card company if mytrip doesn't respond and give a refund.

Worst flight experience of my life, took the money twice for my flight and I actually don't have any flight, still no money back and I am now down 100's of euro. An absolute joke! Customer service is horrendous, don't ever book on this site!
