Rather unique situation for me being 65 and a federal retiree. I was simply in need of one quarter for Social Security and only needed a resume to complete the application process for a part-time temporary position. I liked the looks of your resume compared to others, so I thought it was worth $2.95. It was both surprising and deceptive to find that I was going to be charged $24.95 per month to keep your services. Like others who have dealt with your company, it was very difficult to get you off the phone as the offers kept coming (like how about $12.95 per month and/or getting friends or family members to sign up). My phone contact was named Luis Monge who was polite enough (and well trained!) but too pushy, especially for a deceptive offer. He didn't seem to really listen to what I was saying but did ultimately allow me to opt out. I don't think I'm speaking just for me saying that yours is not a good way of doing business.

Used the site months ago to rebuild my resume. Loved the product. But after the first month free price was $25 a month. Was considering cancelling my subscription but was able to get a reduced rate. So happy I can still continue using a wonderful product and it not break my bank.

They stole money, they charged a payment on my account for 25 dollars. My first purchase was for 3 dollars. I dont recomended them. I had to called my bank and canceled all transactions with them. They are deshonest

This auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14-day subscription on the sales page, payment page, processing the purchase and after the purchase (on the confirmation pages.) We also send a payment confirmation e-mail stating the date and amount of the auto-renewal.
I called customer care *******348 U.S.) to receive service for cancellation on my subscription and in hopes of a refund of $24.95. I was put on hold for 30 minutes which gave me time to look over the terms and agreements. I learned that it is important to read this before pursuing progress on the website. I was given Walter as my caller and he provided excellent service. He fully explained how the website provided more than just resume building. I was very appreciative of this new information. I provided him with my account id number which is very helpful for them because they can find you right away. Walter was very understanding and compassionate and when I asked for a refund, he understood that we've all been there before and he gladly gave me my refund. I received a email confirmation for both my cancelled subscription and refund. Just remember to read and look at the terms and when dealing with customer service, they are real people. Always be respectful and kind and show appreciation for the service. Overall I had great experience on the website with its services and over the phone with customer service. My situation was taken care of and handled correctly.

I used this horrible "service" to write a resume back in December. I paid $1.95 for a 15 day free trial. I just checked my bank account today and see that these scam artists have taken several random payments out of my account every month since. $0.06 here, $24.95 there. They have taken around $60 from me without my knowledge. When I called customer service, I had to wait for around 10 minutes for someone to answer. She would not give me her name. She seemed to have no real knowledge of what they were doing with my account. I was refunded less than half of what was stolen from me. She kept asking me to "stay with us for only $12.95 per month if you get friends and family members to sign up". I told her there was no way that I would rope anyone into this scam. They are criminals. This "company" needs to be taken down. GARBAGE. I wish I could give less than 1 star. ************** stars. I don't know how this crooks sleep at night knowing that they are stealing from people who are just trying to get a job.

I'm not sure what's going on with MyPerfectResume and the other names by which this company operates, but I was charged $1.95 for a 15 day trial, created my resume' and then couldn't download my resume' without paying an additional amount. I abandoned the program and created my own resume'. Exactly 15 days after trying the trial, they try to charge my credit card $19.95. I clearly don't want the service. This business model will eventually fail because DECEIT only lasts for so long. Joseph G. Helped me and provided good customer service; however, my issue isn't fully resolved at this point. Answer: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a very organized person who worked for the state that I reside in as an investigator. I had an injury and had to make a change in my career. I am very careful about getting pulled into scams, however, I felt that this would be a good opportunity to build a resume and cover letter that was more updated than when my original resume that I wrote years ago. First of all, the templates are not free. After spending a long period of time writing the perfect resume, I only had the option of spending $2.99 to have access to the resume/cover letter. I felt that was a reasonable fee for the use of the template. As I stated, I am very organized and manage my finances very well. I made sure that I went into my account and cancelled by subscription after 5 days of use so that I would not be charged the $29.99 for the month. Today, I checked my checking account and sure enough the $29.99 had been deducted. I immediately called customer service and they stated that my cancellation had not gone through and they had no notification of my cancellation. They were willing to give me back only $14.00 of my $29.99 back and then went on trying to sell me more offers. I was extremely angry and then spoke with a supervisor. He also argued that I had not cancelled. I went through the same steps to cancel my account while the supervisor was on the phone with me. Low and behold the cancellation went through! Obviously, this company has set up the cancellation process to fail and you will be charged the $29.00 anyway. I definitely learned my lesson! I had to threaten to have my attorney to get involved due to this company stealing money from my account before they agreed to reimburse my full $29.00. They could not give me a refund confirmation number for the remaining reimbursement. I as a Social Worker who advocate for people could not conscientiously could not write a review to warn people of this scam.
