Despite being an extremely expensive service which has been around for a very long time, no significant improvements or new functions have been introduced. Also, there is too much poor quality data and matches
I have used MyHeritage for years now. I enjoy being able to combine my records together with family trees from others, DNA kits, military records, census records, death records, and even newspaper articles. The photo repair and enhancing tools are also very helpful. MyHeritage has helped me push past several dead ends and explore many branches of my tree. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in genealogy.
No end to the amount of information available when tracing the family. Some parts are quite cumbersome for example duplicate profiles, there must be an easier way to delete these. I don't think that the program is designed around the Senior operators. Quite costly for those on a budget in these hard economic times and additional resources papers etc come at an additional cost

MyHeritage has given me the structure and freedom to build-on, research and confirm hundreds of people connected to me. Surprises and exciting finds have solved decades old mysteries and given closure to so many questions. The theory of relativity is one such benefit, which gave me the final piece of a puzzle. As time goes by and more mysteries are unravelled, questions answered and information shared, I will eventually be able to do a completed 10 generation fan chart for each of my immediate family members But until then I will enjoy the challenge and be thankful for the platform from MyHeritage 🌳
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
