Initial population of the sIte was relatively easy as was the ongoing updates and additions. The only issue I have encountered was to confirm entire Discoveries which led to creating duplicates. I've since learned to accept only specific data. If there was a warning about Confirming, I have not seen it
Excellent site, Lots of very varied information to look at. Such a range of information is a great aid to research.
A mix of feelings as I find things out. There is plenty to find and the means to do it. Some things I have found were not as the family told me. That sort of thing leads to more research to find out the facts. This is where the surprises and disappointments can be. But all still very interesting. I find My heritage a great sit and now with Family Search in Utah added it is unrivalled.

A small detail, but I would like the option of printing family books designated with only specific branches of my tree. I have so many members, but often, especially when I wish to share branches with family or do research, it would be helpful to be able to choose which branch of the tree to create a family book, instead of getting hundreds/thousands of entries in my book. I don't always need such extensive inclusion of all the information in my tree when I wish to create a smaller family book...

I first went onto My ANcestery and didn t get far on my tree. I needed Europe. I have gotten my tree back to the 1500's on some all thanks to my Heritage. If there is one improvement I would like to see is a search on Invite more family. I have ******* names in my tree thats a lot of looking. Other than that I always tell everyone to do my Heritage as a DNA test. Great program
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
