Do not reply to emails at support, promise to ring back but do not, when you ring their uk toll free number they answer the phone as efax. They say they will put you through to myfax and after a while of piped music the phone goes dead. Cut you off in the middle of chat or say they will put you on to a more suitable person and you wait indefinitely. Faxes never go. You always have to try and ring and find out why not. They say available 24/7 but the UK call centre closes at 5pm. When rang european number they said this was a uk address and sent me back to the UK websites. A bunch of crooks and villains.
There was a time period that I just did not get faxes and now half the time it wont let me log in even though I have the correct password, it keeps making me reset it and still will not let me in. It was suppose to make life easier not worse!
I emailed a request to cancel my service after a few months. I didn't receive a response so I figured it was being taken care of. I was billed again. When I inquired as to why (sat on hold for 12 minutes waiting to talk to someone) I was told that you have to use the chat feature or call them to cancel. The chat feature on their site doesn't work, so I guess that leaves only calling them to cancel. I asked why I didn't receive a response if they will not cancel via email. He had no answer as to why their billing department doesn't return emails. My guess is so that they can continue to bill you. I work graveyards so calling during their hours is not easily done. I wouldn't recommend based on their lack of response to cancellation.
So today I was notified that my credit card was charged by Myfax for almost $50.00, which I didn't authorize. I called them and was informed that they will look in to it and will cancel my service. I didn't have their service and they will send it to escalation to see what can be done. There was no supervisor that I could speak to and they couldn't help at all. So they stole my money and can't do anything about it.

I sent a fax for my insurance payment and after 5 minutes I had a charge on my CC for an amazon purchase I never made. Total scam.
Hello. They rope you in to a $10 a month plan. You send 1 fax. It says successfully sent, but never gets there. There is a criptic message in your account later that says it didn't send, but WAIT, you have a confirmation email. AND when you go back and check again after calling customer service, they confirmation is there in your account that the fax was sent.
Then you wait for 45 minutes even though you are the first in a cue for chat help (Average waited is claimed to be 3:23). Please for the love of all, don't waste you time and money.
MyFax was exactly the service I needed when I was required to send a fax but all I had at my disposal was a PDF a computer and internet connection. I needed to make a phone call to cancel my account, however John B. Was very kind and courteous. I had no problems discontinuing the service.

I signed up and cancelled the account following the procedures their company indicated (as their website indicated) within the TRIAL period. However, the company waited until AFTER the trial period was over to inform me there was another way I needed to cancel - by phone! They said this was in their service agreement (the fine print that was apparently mailed to me). BUT not only was this clearly different what was advertised on their website to email "*******@myfax.com" but also support took 2 weeks to respond. Not only inept but also clearly misleading the only consumers they have!
Extremely poor customer service. I was on the line with them for 30 minutes to cancel my subscription. The person on the other end couldn't understand English very well and was very slow. To add insult to injury, they had charged our account for 8 months after we cancelled and wouldn't have the decency to refund any of it.
Two weeks ago I was interested in canceling my free account (no longer needed) and saw the only option to do so was by phone. After reading these reviews, I put it off for as long as possible. I logged onto their website today and they have added an online chat option to cancel the account. I was helped by Chris I who was very friendly and offered to extend the free service to keep my business, but unfortunately I have no need for the account.

I used this service for the free trial 3 months ago and canceled the service promptly before the trial ended, however 3 months later they're trying to bill me for the usage plus 3X late fees, it is not my fault if the system did not properly process the cancellation, and I should not be held accountable for their system errors. Their phone lines won't pick up and their live chat function doesn't work. Hopefully they answer their email.

They keep taking 10.00 out of my account and i never signed up! They said that i did and they have my card number. They have takin out since 2018. I will let fraud department at my credit union deal with it!
Signed up for a free trial. BIG MISTAKE. They just keep charging you, no matter what.
I never even VERIFIED my account, so I couldn't even log in, but they still kept charging me. I guess that's how they make their money, by being lousy cheating scumbags.

I only used the fax number once and tried to cancel before trial was over. I couldnt get ahold of anyone to help me. I kept called multiple times and still noone. Its been 3 months and they keep charging me for a service I dont use! I couldn't even log in to my account!
I had used this service for over 15 years. I had not used it much over the last 3 years but continued to pay $110 per year. In 2020 I was locked out of the account. I attempted to contact customer service but was put on an internal hold. I was never able to reach anyone and the automated responses indicated they could not find my account. Despite all this I was charged the $110 again. I FINALLY was able to speak to a live person who did not offer an explanation and stated he could not refund my payment even though I did not have access to the service. I explained how long I had been a customer and would be more than happy to share my experience to all of my customers. I was put on hold AGAIN and finally told they would refund a little over $90. That was several months ago and I have NEVER received anything from this company, no money, no email, NOTHING. I have changed to a different service and will never use nor recommend My Fax to anyone.

I used MyFax specifically because they could port an existing fax number, alleviating the need to print new business cards. Unfortunately, instead of porting my fax numbers according to the contract I had with them, they ported my main number which effectively closed my account with Verizon, closing my internet service. I am in the 11th day of trying to get my service back again via Verizon, leaving my and my business without internet and I lost my email accounts. When I tried to tell MyFax, they never could explain the situation and were clueless and rude. Terrible business.
I used this service to fax a few documents to my doctor's office. The doctor's office never received the fax. So that wasn't good. Then, when I called to cancel before the trial ended, the South Asian gentleman who handled my call was relentless in trying to persuade me to upgrade, then to stay on for a discounted service, then to purchase other products I might like before he finally let me be and canceled my subscription. Appalling experience.
I signed up for free FAX service and immediately began getting SPAM Faxes. When I called to cancel the account before I got billed, they put me on hold for a very long time and then wanted me to give them my credit card number again before they would cancel. Very bad business model.
I feel so bad. Myfax.com sent me an email trying so hard to help me. I had not seen their message. I wrote an awful review. I see others have but possibly others didn't known they had no control over the trial offer. It was the way I set it up. It was not their fault. They went above & beyond with their instructions but they cant do it. I have to. They spent alot of time writing very detailed instructions. If you email them, they will help you! I feel so bad!
Mandip provided excellent customer service! My Debit Card had to change and I failed to notify MyFax, thus, my payment was not processed. I added a new default card and Mandip deleted the old card, since, I was unable to do it on the website. She is a very valuable asset to the organization!

Answer: It is a scam service, they will not fix your problem, cancel and call your bank for a charge back. They are offering a service they do not provide.
Answer: Because they can. I am sorry if that sounds flippant, but it is the truth and there is no other logical reason for it. Please note that they don't charge by the page, but rather by the minute and they purposely use a very small bandwidth to send pages.
