Disapointing

Customers support virtually nonexistent.
My order didn't arrive, tracking number never provided... I wasn't able to track my order. Send them countless e-mails(NO ATHER Way to get in touch with them?!?). Recieved automotive responses, but NO EXPLANATOION, NO HELP...
Made me feel that I've been scammed...
They owe me money($279.38!), and didn't have even the courtesy to give me ANY explanation.
HIGHLY DISAPOINTING!

Please don't buy anything at MyDeal, the worst mistake I ever made! I ordered an iPhone 7S used as demo model from MyDeal (the seller is called CellArt) over a month ago. The iPhone got lost in the mail so I had to buy one somewhere else as my phone was broken. I talked to a nice person on the phone, explained what happened and we cancelled the order together as obviously, it didn't arrive within the time frame. Despite the cancellation, the phone suddenly appeared in tracking and was heading my way. MyDeal told me just to reject the order and said that I would get my refund within 3 days. It has now been more than 2 weeks since I rejected the order and they're suddenly saying that the seller will only issue a refund when they get the parcel back and that they still haven't got it. This should not be my problem as it's their issue with AustPost. I have been calling MyDeal, emailing back and forth and they keep saying I cannot get my refund until the seller receives the delivery. It's hard to believe it got lost on the way back as well (ExpressPost)! This is the worst experience ever and I cannot get anyone to help me. I will be definitely taking this further (ACCC) and will not give up on my refund!

Try and get an ETA from this bunch. I will never purchase through them again. You get a tracking number that 2 weeks later is still not activated.

Confirmed order but Wrong Item indicated

I searched for the product I wanted, found it, and placed the order only to find from the confirmation email that it was the wrong model. I immediately contacted MyDeal, 13 May (the same day as the order) to cancel. Ultimately, despite their advice to the contrary, Kappel (the contracted Seller) advised that Australia Post has picked up the item and it will be delivered this week. Someone within MyDeal has misrepresented the situation because Kappel has advised they have no record of My Deal asking for the order to be cancelled and for a refund processed. Called again this morning (MyDeal) and the operator advised me that as the item was already on its way I will now have to return the item AT MY EXPENSE!
I advised MyDeal that unless I receive confirmation of a full refund and that any expense associated with the return will be to MyDeal's account, I will be taking legal action, the costs of which will only add to their expenses. I will also be making a formal complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria.
From other reviews, it appears there are many problems associated with this company and it is recommended that shoppers look elsewhere.

Ordered big ticket item, they sent me some other item. Had to fight tooth and nail to return and get a refund - took me so many weeks of endless email ping-pong. They were at fault but they sneaky docked me inspection, restocking etc fees all the same. Should have taken them to consumer affairs. I only realised I was being given the run-a-round when a google search revealed many terrible reviews. Reading reviews helped me - if only I would of searched earlier. Their MO is to entrap you, then take you hostage, then put you through the grinder and wear you down in a war of attrition, hoping you'll resign yourself into giving up cutting your loses. They'll shower you with mountains of platitudes and pleasantries, like "we're so sorry" "thankyou for your patience" "We appreciate you" etc while at the same time completely ignoring anything that you write or say when you attempt to assert your rights under consumer law. Once they've got hold of your money it's hard to get it back, because they purposely stymie, delay and create barriers making difficult to return goods - very stressful and frustrating, prepare for epic struggle. Also they seek to create loopholes to avoid paying you out. E.g. "can't refund you if goods go missing or recvd damaged". If you're good at standing your ground and arguing your case they may throw you a tit-bit concession, keep on complaining about lack of progress and they'll 'escalate' your case - move you up to a more experienced case worker, more adept at delaying, stonewalling and pissing you off with the strategy of making you lose your temper, causing you to slag them off which makes it harder for you to take them to consumer affairs. BEWARE MyDeal are the certifiable swamp dwellers of Australian online retailing. The management of this outfit are shameless.

I bought a 65" TV from mydeal, it's a soniq 4k one. Most of the time I delve into specifications of something I buy but out of a rush, I didn't this time. I instead just scrolled down to product reviews, funnily enough most were 5-stars so I bought it based on that.

I received the TV in 14 days, it was only 30hz in 4k mode (useless for anything but tv, not suitable even for a game console as 60hz is the bare minimum these days), it was advertised with HDR, however it's actually not supported at all (my pc confirmed that), it's merely a brightness adjustment. The audio quality is absolutely terrible. There is lines within black/grey text. LED lights are visible on the bottom of the screen.

I went back to the sale post to look at the specifications and low and behold, it had nothing there. Probably because they know it wouldn't have easily sold that way. Low and behold though, more expensive TV's in the $1500+ has specifications.

As the post title suggested, I originally left a 2-star review on the product that was never posted. About a week later, their mailing system has the audacity to ask for a review, so I added one using that direct link and again, it wasn't posted.

Mydeal will only display reviews that are 3 star+, anything negative, they simply wont post it and moderate it out. How sad is that?!

Terrible website and clearly a money orientated service, i'll absolutely never shop through them again.

People don't use MyDeal their customer service is the worst I have ever known!

I have been waiting over a month for them to pickup the wrong product they sent me!
They keep offering for me to buy the product but I keep telling them I didn't buy it why would I want it now, they will not refund my money, they have tried twice to pick the product up but didn't inform me they were doing so and didn't send any paperwork for the pickup (not that I could have printed it anyway), they never answer the phone or call you back, communication seems to have stopped now I have emailed now for 4 consecutive days with no response!
I bought 40kg dumbbells and they sent 24kg one and now they are out of stock but they are still selling them on the website

I actually believe that they are selling products they don't have and shipping different products then offering a partial refund so they can clear stock!

Plus it took over 2 weeks to get delivered from Melbourne to Sydney (they must have cycled it up) they just blamed the delivery company, I ordered a product from the US it took 4 days?

I don't understand how they are still in business, they couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery in my opinion!
