Motel 6

Staff was great and so were housekeeping they came around twice daily and Tracy Desch was the most polite and so was Laura Magee and Tammy Hallett and Robert Paqngborn were all great help.

On August 11,2023, just before midnight (we were driving back from Florida), we walked in and rented a room at Motel 6 - Binghamton.

Once we entered our room, a foul smell of urine smacked us in the face. My spouse goes to see the gentleman at the reception to inform him of this. The gentleman and my spouse returned together to check the status of the room. The gentleman agrees that there is a foul smell. We head back down to the reception to get a key to another room.

My spouse and I enter the new room, smells fine; we are happy. We both are tired and just want to shower and get some well-deserved rest. I enter the shower, start running the water, and take one of the provided facecloths. To my chagrin, I scream as I see hair in my face cloth. I throw it on the floor and take the 2nd facecloth... I scream again; this one is also dirty with god knows what (looked like nasal mucus). I started crying because this was too much for me; I was exhausted. My spouse then tells me to try and lie down on the bed to get a little rest.

The following morning, we informed the receptionist of our unfortunate circumstances. She apologizes and provides us with the manager's name and telephone number so that we can address the problems and get a refund.

A few days later, I spoke with the manager; she informed me that the owner denied everything we experienced and only offered a measly refund. I've talked with Motel Customer Relations and the manager of this hotel, and we still need to resolve the issue: we need a full refund.

I urge anyone not to stay at this location because the owner does not care about cleanliness and customer service. We are beyond outraged.
