UPDATE: THEY HAVE NOT EVEN CALLED TO APOLOGIZE. GOING FURTHER UP THE CHAIN I will be taking this much further up the chain, and until I get a personal apology from the lead maid, I will be letting everyone know how terrible this motel and staff are. I have stayed here many times for work and currently have been there the last 3 weeks because I am in process of relocating. There has been small issues that I have tried to shake off, for example when asking for a blanket from lead maid she said no, I had to go to the front desk to complain to get an additional blanket? Really and when asking for extra toilet paper maid said no, how long are you staying? Really, does it really matter? So again I let that go, and front desk assisted in getting my blanket and toilet paper but that alone was such poor customer service. Then as I was checking out this last weekend, the lead maid approached me and said I stole the blanket and I replied that I did not, she cussed in spanish and was very abusive and I did get upset as I felt I was being judged, harassed, in public and very unjust... Maybe she was upset I got extra toilet paper the week before. All I know is she had no right to look at me and accuse me of stealing, you better back up what you say and she was very forceful about knowing I did indeed steal this blanket. Another maid came out and said, no it was there, i already took it for laundry and was cleaning his room. So do we accuse people that look a certain way? Do we have a right to do that unless we are sure? How about asking or going to the front desk where it can be discussed in a matter of professionalism. She is lucky that my fiance was not there, she does not tolerate this and plans on taking this further. My number is 916-XXXXX (given to office) and my name is Patricia, Kens fiance and I will not let this just go away because that was rude, unprofessional and to be honest that is what we call Defamation. Truly there must be some kind of policy on how we treat our guests, and having honor and respect? No, well then we shall fight on this until you have made this right. IN response to your comment below. Pathetic, Naomi was supposed to call me before Christmas to resolve and did not. I am getting atty and making sure you do not get business. HAVE HER CALL ME

Albuquerque Midtown - Handicap Room is a Water/Electrical Electrocution Danger for All Lodgers

I live 2 hours away from Albuquerque and need lodging when I have medical procedures/appointments early in the AM at the University of NM Medical Center. Stayed here in May 2022 because another Motel-6 (Airport) was booked, but when we entered the parking lot for that 2-day stay there were several groups of street people loitering about, and we were approached by one of them before we got out of the car, so drove out of the parking lot, stayed in the car and changed motel locations by phone with the 1-800 Motel-6 Reservations. That trip we stayed at "Midtown" in a non-handicap room with wife's assistance because other handicap rooms were taken. Except for TV having only local channels to watch room was ok but smelled of disinfectant, and were provided thread-bare shower towels.

1.) Same location this time "Midtown" without wife's assistance. This stay Dec 8,2022 handicap room #103 was a disaster. Showered upon late arrival, waited almost a full 10 minutes to get warm water running in the shower. Towels felt new, no longer thread bare.
2.) With shower curtain fully closed, opening curtain found that water had filled the bathroom floor to the bathroom entrance door threshold with about a quarter inch of water. Had no choice but to dry off and do toilet duties standing in water. I did not complain to the front desk, as I didn't have the energy or time to devote to switching rooms. It was about 10PM I should have already been in bed, and was exhausted of the driving and needed the sleep for a good next day. In the AM the same conditions existed, floor had not drained so I did my morning bathroom routine standing in water in my street shoes which became soaked thru. I did not use my electric tooth brush for fear of electrocution.
3.) Additionally, front desk entered a wake up call for 5AM when I asked for 6AM and I didn't realize this until I arrived at UNMH for procedure, as I needed the time to get myself together in the morning by myself.
4.) Additionally, TV programs again were for local stations only, on-screen message for Direct-TV channels for CNN and others attempted said: Direct-TV offline, enter start to continue. The front desk said they were having some problems with the cable. (same excuse as previous stay).
5.) Bathroom sink faucet hot/cold controls are reversed. Cold to the Left, Hot to the Right.
6.) Additionally, "Midtown" is now requiring a refundable $50.00 deposit per nights stay, refundable three to five days after room is checked by staff following check-out.

I will not stay at another Motel-6 again, I'd rather sleep in my car in the Hospital parking lot.

Don't know how to get photo from phone to a file on my computer as proof, included my receipt and here are particulars of my stay.

Tip for consumers:

Don't expect anything more than a sway back bed, heater or air conditioning for your money. Save the cost of a night at Motel-6, use the money for half a tank of gas and just sleep in your car.
