If you like the idea of ordering things and waiting to see if they come then choose Moonpig. It's not guaranteed that you will receive your cards and when you don't you can enjoy the unfiltered joy of talking to an agent via 'Live Chat' - who will take almost as long to respond to each question as you did waiting for your cards to not arrive. So seriously if you're the type of person that enjoys the thrill of waiting at an airport baggage carousel to see if your bags made your last tight connection then by all means knock yourself out and order stuff from Moonpig!

When it started (many many years ago) it was good, not anymore.

Order two cards for an event, website said they would be here on time. 4 days later I get an email blaming royal mail for a delay in delivery. So I order cards off funky pigeon. Got the cards from funny pigeon on time posted via royal mail, and two weeks late I got the moonpig cards which where no good as the event had already passed. Emailed customer service at moonpig as I was unhappy about this, got an automatic email back saying they would be in touch soon, then never heard from them again. Would not recommend. The funky pigeon cards turned out to be great and came within 4 days. I know which site I will use in future.

Just awful flowers

My son very sweetly spent his own hard earned cash on some flowers from moonpig for my birthday and I feel so bad for him because they were just awful. They arrived with several buds having fallen off and I promptly put them in fresh water with flower food but the buds never opened and all have just wilted and died. As a result I will NEVER order flowers from moonpig and would not recommend anyone else waste their money on these either.

What can I say
December 23, 2021

Ordered 2 Christmas cards and a box of bracelets with mummy written on them a week ago. The estimate delivery is 22nd of December. We received the parcel which was good but opened it to find the only one card turned up and a box. Inside the box was a pair of boring earrings. Nothing like what I ordered. So no Christmas gift from our daughter. The second card has not turned up which says to my wife. First Christmas together being married. Will use a different company in future. What a let down

Disappointed
February 9, 2021

So disappointed and upset, I ordered a card and cake mix for my daughter's birthday as we can't be together due to lockdown, I ordered it in plenty of time 6 days ahead and it didn't arrive for her Birthday. They don't care, terrible customer service, they truly let me down. So if you want to send something for a special occasion, don't use these, they're useless!

Don't use for flowers
March 18, 2023

Wish I had looked at reviews first before ordering, flowers arrived today for my mum and the box had been crushed probably under the weight of other boxes saved some of the flowers the rest were dead. Won't be using them again it was a waste. Instead of a happy surprise it turned out that I gave my mum a few dead flowers. Can't not leave proof of the flowers as my mum is 83 and doesn't know how to add photos and I live 400 miles away

Sent a diabetic chocolate

I ordered a card and a bonsai tree for my niece, she was sent a huge bar of chocolate instead and my last two emails have not been replied to.

Not happy, won't use again even though I must spend 150 per year with them.

Very poor customer care. I waited over a week for card to be delivered. Having emailed them I was advised that it must have been 'lost in transit'. I asked it could they could try sending again as I have left some leeway. No response from customer case. They took my money in 2 secs. That is the only thing that they manage to do quickly

I wanted to get my girlfriend a 21st card with 'to my girlfriend' on it but couldnt find one anywhere... this is where moonpig comes in handy! Its just simply a card ordering website but it has a great range of cards and also the 'grey bear' cards. The reason this site is so good is because of the card editor. You can edit cards by adding images or text. Great if you cannot find a card that says for example 'To my Sister in law on your 21st'. Just create it yourself!

Bloody poor
March 30, 2023

Some of the pictures were so blurry! I made a complaint and they said due with high quality picture it will come out with blur. We didn't get any warning when doing the images like other companies does. The customer service said we should read the term and conditions before doing it. Bloody joke!

Never ever use Moonpig
October 5, 2016

Firstly, this order for my mum was never ever received. To start with, they didn't send it on the correct day even though I had ordered it 24 days before hand - they said the van had broken down. THEN they said they'd send it out the next day - that was last Friday and it still hasn't been received. I am utterly disgusted them. I will never ever use moon pig again. I have been in touch with them 4 times and and nothing has been done to rectify this. AVOID!

Awful customer service

Gift of flowers sent 6 days before mothers day. Great. Flowers very below average-look like they are a cheap bunch feom the supermarket. Don't order from here. They have poor customer service. No-one cared at all. Flowers weeping on arrival day. By mothers day they will be in the bin

No customer care

Ordered a father's day card and upgraded to include a 'pub in a box' connection of beers. Unfortunately one of the cans was split and spoiled the box as well as being one beer down. The outer postage box was not damaged.
When I found out I contacted Moonpig. The insisted on getting a picture, but the box has been disposed of by my dad at the time. Without a picture there was 'nothing they could do'.
What happened to customer care!? - I'm not going to use Moonpig again and discouraged everyone else.

Don't use them!

If i could give 0 I would. Card was meant to be delivery in 1 day. 4 days later its still not here ruining my dads 60th. I tried to speak to their team about this and they were incredibly unhelpful and rude to me. They kept throwing links at me that only supported what I was saying about it being late and then disconnected the chat refusing to help. Moonpig has seriously gone down. You cannot run a successful business like this. I will never be using them again. Customer service is the heart of a business and these people have none. Don't expect value or respect if you have any queries, once they have your money thats it.

Poor all round
Unfortunately it has been a while since I used Moonpig but had heard good things. I placed an order, taking into account the small disclaimers about "1-2 day delays at this time". A week later, the birthday has been and gone and yet no cards have arrived. On contact with customer services I was simply pointed to some small print in T&C's which apparently says cards can now take 5 days to deliver from order process (they took 2 days to process the order) and no refunds are allowed unless they miss this date.

7 day turnaround does not seem practical and is not shown clearly at the point of purchase. If it had been, I would not have used the service.

Surprised and disappointed by:
1) Misleading sale
2) Awful customer service response
3) The fact my fiancée had no birthday cards from me or our children

All round - very poor

It cost over £40 and it ruined my nephews birthday as he'll now only get a card on the actual date. Ordered both balloons + card for 18th. Moonpig delivered balloons on 10th. Tried to stop delivery but email was ignored. No apology or compensation from Moonpig - they don't care once they have your money and they blamed their system for the error (it's a terrible system - and I think mistakes like this will happen a lot). In the end, on the on line Moonpig chat you end you just talking to someone who can't do anything but refund a small delivery charge - absolutely useless - stay away from this company - it seems to be set up to take your money, make mistakes and then ignore you.

I would put 0 stars. Arrived late for birthday, son beside himself thinking I don't care. Could not phone as number not in use and can't phone moonpig. Eventually managed to find live chat, £3.14 refund on nearly £40 order. DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Disappointing service.
December 22, 2020

I placed an order on 15th December to be delivered on the 17th. This was never received. Apparently my order was lost in transit and I was never notified. Yet they were obviously aware no attempted delivery had been made or confirmed. I chased this up repeatedly and was then told another order could not be sent and would not arrive before Christmas. I am self isolating, meaning I am unable to go out and buy a replacement card and now my loved ones have no Christmas card. I think it's disgusting and having used Moonpig for many years I'm not sure I'll be doing so in the future. What a disappointing service at the most important time of the year.

Avoid like the plague

Managed to mess up an order for a once in a lifetime occasion not once but twice and probably the worst customer service I have ever received

Extremely unhelpful customer service who refused to refund despite being told that the order was no longer wanted and would rather I sued them through the county court in the UK so I intend to.

Will never ever use this company again
