What kind of company takes over £18 of your hard earned cash, then sends cards to you without envelopes? Apparently I was supposed to request envelopes. I went through the purchase process again and still can't see where they're telling me I should have added envelopes. Not that I would have been looking for it, I think it's not unreasonable to expect a greetings card to come with an envelope, especially when the cards are larger than your average card. Spoke to Moonpig who flat refused to send out envelopes retrospectively which was useful. They don't go big on customer service clearly. Won't use them again, I'd advise others to steer clear, far better going to The Card Factory online.
Moonpig very dissatisfied and disappointed received 2 gifts both included flowers... "Sweetness bunch"flowers looked dead after 2 days lilies didn't even open & green foliage was past its sell by date! Chocolates box bashed!
White wine hamper, rose bush almost dead!
I have used moonpig many times however never received a gift! I will not be using again to send flowers!
Initial impression of potted roses was favourable: one rose fully out, several in bud. Unfortunately the buds never came out & wilted. The leaves also withered.
On closer inspection the outer long container contained 2 small pots, of the sort that can be bought at any supermarket for a couple of pounds. I shudder to think of the cost, as no doubt it looked impressive in the advert. Would not recommend Moonpig for flowers as not the 1st disappointment. Difficult to tell one's daughter that her carefully chosen gift was rubbish.
These guys are Amazing. You can understand why this company has such a great reputation. Great website, with the ability to literally do anything to personalise your card. 10 out of 10 for experience, website, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Good prices when they're on sale, but not every card can be customised as much as I'd like.
I have paid tor guaranteed delivery of 2 cards, chocolates and a mug. Nothing was delivered so far (guaranteed date was yesterday) but their customer service is still asking me to rest assured its arriving in time. Unless they can travel back in time, this is either mockery or stupidity on their part.
I received flowers today for my birthday very disappointed for my niece who sent them heads fell off or were missing, roses on their last legs packaged all wrong just in damp. Paper then in a pink box to be honest the box was the best part
I ordered from here for my son's 16th Birthday and was assured delivery would take place on his birthday.
Delivery did NOT take place on his birthday.
I explained this to their customer services via live chat.
After a short while 'Rhys' came back and said the item had been lost in transit and re-ordered at a cost to them and would now be delivered in 1-3 days.
I stated that it would have been nice to have a choice as what use was a birthday card which will now be 1-3 days late and that a refund of the item would have been preferred.
Do not trust these one bit.
This was my second try of Moonpig after they messed up a few years ago. Wish I hadn't bothered now.
Go to $#*!y Pigeon if you want a company like this. Never let me down once.
Moonpig used to be very reliable but no longer... this is the second and last time they have failed to deliver birthday cards. They send an email saying it is on its way but it doesn't turn up. After spending the best part of 2 hours trying to get through to online chat I was told it was a processing error and had not been sent out. The only plus is they have allegedly refunded me. Not much consolation for the missed birthdays.
I will never use this company again. It is not worth the risk of missing a loved ones important day. This is the second time I ordered birthday card and it never arrived on time. In fact they took over two weeks to be delivered. When I contacted their customer service they seemed to read a script saying "we are sorry but..." The email notices I received were wrong about the delivery and one of the cards has still not been delivered. There was never a clear understanding why the cards are late in delivery and there is no reason for me to ever use this service again.
After an awful year my son in Australia surprised me with a bouquet of flowers for mother's day. I put them straight in the bin. They had eggs and beetles on the green foliage. Brown roses. And slime where the other flowers hat rotted. I cried!
I ordered a large card and chocolate and paid extra for special delivery to guarantee arriving in time. They sent the chocolate out on special and the card by Royal Mail which guarantees nothing. I have one order number, but they split my delivery and when I tried contacting them they are not taking calls. I have emailed them for a refund in delivery charge and card as they've missed my deadline. The email address offered by Moonpig has bounced back so I cannot make contact. Nice one! Hide behind a computer screen
I won't use them again
After purchasing flowers my wife on our anniversary I was disgusted with the quality and the quantity ( unlike the illustration) also the flower heads were falling off " I will certainly not be purchasing from moon pig again and could have bought far better quality from local florists who offer free delivery "
Dreadful - I have only rated 1 star because I can't rate 0 stars! They took my order, delivered very late when it was no longer of use and then refused to refund. This type of service must be stopped big companies taking advantage of the average person. Avoid at all costs!
15 November 2022 my orders should of arrived they were for a friend leaving her job. Had to go out and buy another gift. Still orders are being processed and have not been sent. It is now the 20th! Avoid them if you need you item for a special occasion try someone else.
Shocking online customer service for what was a simple request within less than an hour of making my order. Refused to cancel an item or change the delivery date And charged me £8 shipping. I asked to make a complaint and they kept fobbing me off and then They left the chat. Their website is rubbish and won't be ordering from again. I really hope my colleague gets her correct leaving gift on time and In one piece. Bunch of muppets :(
Moonpig is fine if you are not depending on them 100% as I have now over two week ordered two lots of gifts from them and have both times been let down,
I think the work load for them seems to be pretty much overload and to get back in touch with them is not the easiest thing to do, i would suggest of you can find another site then maybe use this than moonpig until they get their act together, i have suffered bad flowers for valentines day which was a disaster and missing part of a birthday present which arrived three days later,
I've been looking in their site for 20 minutes now and the choice of cards is terrible. Even worse, many are about outdated subjects or celebrities. To get any discount they force you to use their app which is not the greatest way to view cards - why can't I get the same benefits on the website?
Moonpig have gone done hill in the last few years. Such a time-wasting and fruitless experience.
First order didn't arrive. Got in touch and was refunded if I used the funds to re order same. Did so and that order has not arrived either! Birthday girl never received card or treat. Embarrassed and furious with Moonpig.
Do not use. Never deliver on time and then won't refund.
Offered to refund my delivery cost as a credit even though card was delivered 5 days late.
Not acceptable. It's not the first time they've let me down. Will never use again.
Once you miss someone's birthday it's over there's no going back and it's just beyond disappointing.
