I used to love mint bc it had a good price and decent service however when it came time to address a
hiccup the customer service was the worst I've ever had! I spoke to 8 separate representatives on separate days and each one lied to me... when I caught them in the lies some hung up and some said ohhh upon further research we did actually charge you 787 dollars let me refund it goodbye. I called and called and they kept pretending to issue refund until I finally cancelled my card and made my bank file it as fraud so i could get my money back. NOT worth the stress and confusion and they don't have stores so when the customer service sucks you are completely screwed.
Bought international pass. Out of county cannot get customer service even on Wi-Fi calling.
All I can get a a chat box with no human available. Sent email to listed email address and got back no longer monitoring this email. Toll free number does not work from here.
Stuck and cannot call to check on sick elderly person. Pay the money and get a company that cares.
Avoid at al cost!
Most of the time I barely get any service. I am stuck as they sell yearly plan at a cheaper rate. This is a trap.
Their customer service is poor. Last time I asked for help, wasted more than a hour and lost all the saved setting without resolving the issue.
Mint Mobile offers the services I need, at an awesome price. I've dealt with their customer service, requiring help getting Mint Mobile started. They were very patient and I have not had any issues since changing from V****** about a year ago.
The level of customer support they offer is zero. I asked to return extra SIM cards. Instead they cancelled everything and left me with no cell service. After paying hundreds of dollars I now have no service. They do not have 24 hour support which you find out after they close for the day. Horrible experience.
The $15 promo is only for 3 months then the price triples! And don't travel outside the country and buy an international pass, it won't work but they will still take your money because it's company policy. Don't trust Mint Mobile!
We recently traveled to Canada, paid for international service beforehand, could not get our phones to work. Called Mint several times, finally got one phone working, but they used all our roaming money. Very dissatisfied, going to switch cell phone coverage.
The price is great and I get great service. However when I switched, my phone would not work for the first 3 days. My daughter also had the same problem. Customer service was able to fix it but then the next day, her data didn't work. It seems to work itself out after a few days, but it's still frustrating
Was some confusion on how to download a esim that I ported over had never done this solo but with the help of customer support was able to figure it out and now I have 3 months of service for 53.37 unlimited data works better then my previous phone service.
It was very easy to set up on my existing phone. I had an issue in November 2022 with my renewal, but they were able to solve it for me pretty quickly. Since then it's been smooth sailing. It's a great phone plan for a great price.
When I initially signed up for Mint, I thought it was great! The price was great and I had no issues
With my service. When it came time to renew my 3 month plan, I paid $130. A little more than the original price for the 3 month plan but not bad. Then 2 days later I check my bank account and see that Mint mobile had taken out $259 for an annual plan! This overdrew my account (on thanksgiving no less). I called to rectify the situation and was told the money would be refunded in 72 hours. It wasn't. I called again because my app was now telling me that my plan was expired and I had no cell service. After 5-6 calls, I was told that the ticket that was put in actually takes 7-10 business days to refund. In the meantime, they refunded my 3 month plan and the annual plan that they mistakenly took out of my account. Now my bank account is -$353 and I won't have any money or cell service for 7-10 days. I'm so upset and also scared because I'm a single mom and this is our only phone. It only works when I'm connected to wifi and I can only communicate with other iPhones. I wish Mint had worked out for me but they just ruined my life and now I'm suicidal. Thanks.
Easy switch ever! Took 8 mins to signup and pay. Within 5 hrs both of our phone lines were transferred from our old carrier to mint mobile.

Yes, AI strikes again. I had left a negative comment about Mint Mobile customer support when I found out that if a customer purchases any phone directly from the Mind website, there is a 7 day window in which to return it. The phone you receive may break on the 8th day, may get a virus on the 8th day, may malfunction on the 8th day--regardless--you are screwed. There are no refunds. Imagine purchasing an Iphone or Android for $1,400 - $ 1,600 dollars. On the 8th day after the purchase, if anything goes wrong Mint Mobile won't refund your money or even allow you to exchange the phone. So I asked the customer service guy "So that means you can buy a $1,500 phone directly from MM and if it breaks, you are out $1,500. The support guy said, "Yes, and it happens." At least he was honest. I found out all this when I contacted MM about 2 weeks after I purchased the phone. I was in another country and couldn't return it within the time frame. But the phone I ordered not only wasn't working properly, but was reviewed by android review sites as the worst model phone the reviewer had tested, giving it a grade of unacceptable. I mentioned all this PREVIOUSLY on sitejabber, then received an AI generated message to the effect that Mint Mobile was very sorry for the poor customer service and to contact them so that they could rectify the problem. I DID call their customer service because the MM message stated that I SHOULD. Well, it took about 45 minutes for thei customer service rep to understand why I was calling and another 15 minutes to discover that the AI generated message was "unactionable" (is that a word even)? So I wasted an hour trying to explain the problem. Unfortunately as it apparently wasn't included in the script the CS, they were baffled. They finally said to copy and paste the AI message and send it to their "live chat" feature. OK. I'll try. I bet I get the same AI generated message though. BTW, you have to look VERY CAREFULLY at the MM website to see this 7 day return policy.
I ordered a phone and plane on 6 Sep 24 and the website says they shipped it that day, After multiple attempts to contact them I finally got through to a salesman. He informed me the phone should have been shipped within 3 days...after some research he told me it was never shipped and he contacted the warehouse only to find out they are "out of stock" and they may get some in 48 hours. The website STILL says they shipped the order and even provide a tracking number which says the post office still hasn't received the phone. I should have bought a phone from a better company then maybe I would have service to comment on. "UPDATE" 15 Sep I called the number given in the reply from Mint and there is no category for customer service only sales and technical support. I got hung up on twice and now I'm on hold after talking to a saleswoman (Christine) and have been transferred to (Mary) job unknown. Mary told me my order is processing, when asked how much longer, she informed me that it was mailed on the 6th of Sep, (a LIE) even though the last time I called I was told that it WASN'T mailed on the 6th because it was out of stock, she told me that it was the Post Offices' fault. When I told her that the post office never got the phone to ship she got confused and put me back on hold. I was just told that to prevent anymore delays they are gonna cancel the order and refund my money, when I explained by doing that they are gonna cause additional delays she got really confused, I explained that it would take days to refund and reorder but she still insisted it would be faster. I'm waiting on a Supervisor (Marcus) now to explain that course of action and he is checking the same things over again...45 minutes so far on this call, "I am recording the call because no one will believe this" 53 minutes total to be told that they won't refund my money UNTIL I return the phone that they never sent. I then explained to Marcus that I can't return something they never sent, he told me that it would be sent out tomorrow the 16th of Sep and when I get the phone to call back to activate it and they may give me some compensation for all the trouble. So far MINT customer service is HORRIBLE!.
The big picture is when I call mint they act as if they aren't aware that they have a service issue. So they pin it on Apple, I call Apple. They inform me it's a service issue. That's pretty obvious. I checked around on is it down. Turns out service is interrupted for a lot of people. I say it's a trash service. I'm ready to go somewhere else, going to shop around and see what I can find. $25 a month is hard to beat but I need consistency and reliability. And mint isn't that.
The service and pricing are fine. The admin side of things is horrible. Wasted a bunch of time today because their emails don't have the correct specifics – ever. After my initial 3 month promo, I switched to 1 yr for the best price ($15 month when prepaid). The emails I got don't make it clear that I have switched - it appears that I am still on 3 mos after just changing to 1yr (it only lists my current plan and doesn't say anything about the year). Mint says that the email was just a confirmation of me having added a payment method and signing up for autopay. Very confusing. And then today I get an email encouraging me to get more savings by signing up for a year - despite the fact that I have already signed up for a year! This after they misinformed me initially, requiring multiple calls to straighten out THEIR mistakes. They used to be great, but now? FAIL!
I just got off the phone with Mint Mobile and they cannot "confirm or deny" that I can't measure my daily data. This is either with the Mint Mobile app OR my iPhone iOS 17.3.1
And when I posted to REDDIT it was automatically censored.
Use OCR on your phone to obtain the link to Perplexity.ai to illustrate this malfeasance with top brass at Mint Mobile.
Good luck identifying why your data is suddenly hitting its limit.
The reasons I'm unsatisfied with mint mobile. The first one being the unlimited plan only gives you 40 GB of high-speed internet. After that the internet sucks. Secondly, they only give you ten GB's of wifi with the unlimited plan and that wifi is not very good at all. Their coverage is not as good as they say it is, i'm also dissatisfied with that. And the last thing I'm unsatisfied with is that they changed it to $15 a month. And it's only for new customers that's some b s.
They don't speak clear English, broken Mexican, I spent 5 hours and went through 4 different customer service folk, the only upside they were friendly, but friendly does not fix my problems unfortunately.
Wish I had never decided to join Mint, don't believe the hype, find another carrier.
The customer support team for Mint Mobile is the absolute worst support experience I have ever worked with. Multiple Agents will reroute your call to a different department to avoid working on issues they clearly don't understand. You will hear various answers from their agents, including account supervisors and managers, only to find out in subsequent calls that none of them are true. When they tell you they are updating a ticket, that's also a lie. After two weeks of being led on by this terrible support staff, I cancelled my order. Now I'll get to wait at least 7-10 business days for my money back, and I'm certain I'll have to continue to fight with this terrible support staff to ensure that my refund is actually processed. In the future, if I ever have to deal with sub-par customer service, I'll make sure to remind myself of this experience so that I can say, "at least I'm not dealing with Mint Mobile again."
Customer service is a mind $#*!.
Whether through the chat, or the phone.
No refund possible, it seems, after 7 months in (I paid for a full year). I'm still waiting on some obscure technician to call me back. It's been 5 days since a ticket was created in order for my problem to be addressed. My datas haven't been working for a month now. I have tried everything that was suggested to me (and repeated myself A LOT in the process). And still, can't reach the internet unless there is WIFI around, nor neither can I send & receive texts.
Answer: NO, NO, NO! They have limited hours, even for "chat help". If and when you get ahold of someone, they're inconsistent, inconsiderate, robotic, and they have no record of your previous attempts to get resolution! They make you start all over from the beginning each and every time. Plus, they LIE to you when they say it's "all taken care of."
Answer: If they're legit, I'd like to see them prove it. No brick & mortar, mostly robots and simps for support. No wonder Ryan Reynolds took the money and ran!
Answer: Yes us mobile is better if u can use CDMA type phone on the Verizon system it is faster although it is nothing to jump up and down about it is better.
