I have a Bill for 205$ And I never even opened an account with them! I had to look them up just to see who they was. This is a store for Women I'm a Guy I don't even know what was charged, I don't have a Credit card. I'm confused
I was very surprised that the cardigan that l recieved nice as it was unfortunately did not fit. But the issue becomes the amount of money they tried to return for my purchase was less than the amount of the purchase price plus tax, for whatever reason midnight velvet felt if was proper business practice to keep $2.35 of the tax for the item returned along with the $21.98 which they charged for shipping and processing. So honestly for me Midnight Velvet won't have to be bothered with sending out any more merchandise to my address again. Besides the $11.80 that l paid insurance at United States post office to return the cardigan due to the fact it didn't fit and wasn't liked enough to exchange and possibly be charged some sort of fee again...not sure because l chose just to return considering to much going on with upcoming surgery in progress to deal with the task.
I was approved several years ago for a credit account with this low budget company for a 1,000 credit limit and through out the years I've always made a small purchase never exceeding over $200 and never have I ever once been late on a payment I've always been a loyal customer, but now everytime I try to make a purchase these people are asking me for a downpayment at least have of the purchase amount although I have a credit limit for 1,000 and I have never used not even half of that credit limit amount, these people are deceptive liars and they don't stand by their word, and clearly for years their website indicates a 1,000 credit limit and I've never had a problem with making a purchase until now...I do plan on paying these idiot's completely off which my balance is under $200 and I will be closing the account never to return to their low budget very limited outdated products again.
I'm so tired of having to send orders back that are mix ups and no fault of my own, either the person that takes the order can't speak fluent English or the distribution center is sending out the WRONG STUFF... My order summary is RIGHT but what's in the actual bag is wrong. Midnight Velvet get it together. You all want EVERY PENNY YOU'RE OWED, but NEVER COMPENSATE THE CUSTOMER FOR THEIR INCONVENIENCE... Please! At least act like you care. Does that sweater look like the dress I ordered... Thank you the customer
I have been a customer to Midnight Velvet for a number of years. I love their clothing. It is very stylish and good quality. I get so many compliments.
Do not do business with this company. They lied told me if I wait 7 mths for some boots I would get a 25% discount with I wait it was a total different amount when they came 6 months later. I called and the lady act as if she was the one I orginal person I talked to and tells me the person didn't tell me what I KNOW WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME. I would have never waited that long to save 10.00. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY ATE A RIPE OFF.

I purchased a pair of their Button Leg Capri's in white. They arrived in a timely manner however, they are not white. Not even close. They aren't Ivory, off-white, or cream either... they are beige. I'm not going to pay to return an item that is clearly misrepresented in their catalog. This will be my last purchase from their catalog or any others like them!
Don't order from here they give you a approved amount of credit then when you checkout even tho it's alot less they want a down payment for a amount worth more than the item is worth and everything is on backorder and then when it's suppose to be shipped it gets cancelled scam possibly
The quality for the prices you pay for clothing is awful. Whatever you do, Don' be late on ONE payment because it hits your credit which is WRONG...
Ordered 12 Duffle Bags with names on them. Suppose to have been delivered Nov 18th. Received 4 bags the 19th and one had someone else's order in it. Every day they say the other bags are coming. Everyday FED EX says delivered but THEY ARNT HERE. Calling customer service is terrible. Talking to a supervisor isn't any better. I will NEVER order from them again once I get this situated. 12 bags cost me over $389.00! They will not credit you anything. They say that they can not credit shipping or processing fees. They did not offer anything to keep me as a customer so THEY LOST ONE THAT would spend lots of money! I highly suggest NOT ordering from MIDNIGHT VELVET!

Ordered shoes from them, wrong size so I sent them back asking for a larger size. They sent the same size the second time. I sent them back telling them I did not want the shoes at all. They emailed me a receipt saying they received them and then they're charging me for something I never bought.
This is a horrid company and they need to be looked into.

I purchased 1 Carita wig on the midnight velvet credit card 0n 11/2/2020. After reviewing the wig, I decided to return it. I contacted the company and it impress upon me to use their return label and the RMA # to put on the label. However, after several calls, I was told by their representatives that I would receive a check in the mail for $65.54. Another representative stated, you will receive credit to your bank visa card for $65.54 It will take 28 to 30 days before it will be in my account. I called 3/8/21 to informed it has been 30 days and I have not received the $65.54.as you continue to report that it was sent out by mail. One representative reports, it was returned to my bank visa account. I informed it HAS NOT been returned to my account. The company representative stated, we will refund you $65.54, but did not and did something counterproductive and rotten. I paid a $40.00 payment and only want what is rightfully owed to me. The company representatives continued to say, we will refund you $65.54. The last representative I spoke to informed that I owe them 38% for re-stocking fee, $10.00 late fee and $7.95 for the label and additional $1.82 which totals to $38.32. I mentioned that I DID NOT receive return product information, only the return label. The representative referred to return information is in the middle of the catalog, under terms & agreement. Under Terms Of The Offer-Our offer to provide you with a credit account. Upon approval of an account, we will send you a copy of the account agreement. You will have the opportunity to return the merchandise and cancel the account after you have reviewed the agreement. Under-Agreement-You can view your complete Account Agreement at MidnightVelvet.com. Again, there is No information or instructions on how to return an unwanted item. This is deceit and rotten.
All items I have ordered have always been delivered on time. Customer service is professional and very helpful.
I always read reviews before I order online and saw quite a few negative reviews for Midnight Velvet. I've received catalogs from them for years and decided to go against reviews and place an order. So sorry you had a bad experience, mine was great. I love both items and received them very quickly. Ordered a necklace and earrings and they came in a beautiful gold and white box. I already have 4 items on my wishlist as soon as I pay off my 1st 2 purchases.
My account balance showed zero online which would not allow me to make payments online. I sent them a certified letter requesting that the account information be fixed so I could pay online. This was not done and in addition, Ginny's account was also messed up after talking to Midnight Velvet collection where I was not allowed to pay online for Ginny's also. Now both Midnight Velvet and Ginny is calling. Payment s are not being made because of changes they made to my payment method. Both Ginny's and Midnight Velvet are at the same address. The Customer service and collections department for these companies suck.
I called to inquire, (NOT PURCHASE) about a blanket/sock purchase. I specifically siad I was not ready to place an order until I was able to have a question answered regarding the product. I was transferred to another person where I left a message as they were not available. I did not give it another thought until I recieved the blanket/sock in the mail! I never authorized this purchase and will never order from this company again! Potential buyers beware!

Answer: Almost impossible. They sent an incorrect size to me in error. I tried calling for days, only to receive a message saying the call volume was large and to call again. The phone hung up without additional options. I then tried emailing through the 'contact us' on the website. I received an automated reply 2 days later with a 'sorry for the inconvenience, would you like to exchange or return'. No reply after I answered and no answer on the phone. I still have the incorrect size they mailed out and no response to my request to be called by someone in management. I'm REALLY disappointed with this company and would never buy from them again.
