Metro's customer Service
September 16, 2022

I recently ordered a device on Metro's web site to avoid the activation fees. You know thought I was being clever by not having to actually go to the store. I never received the phone they said it was delivered to my front door, it was not. After three weeks I started inquiring about where my device was daily. I was lied to at every possible turn by there so called customer service. I have had to make a legal claim because they refuse to give me a refund or even talk to me about it. There represntives continue playing games with me and lying. Everyone of them needs fired, this would not happen if they hired Americans instead of outsourcing to India. Do not trust metro mobile people! They lie like a rug

I have had phone service with Metro PCS for more than 10 years, but I am now looking for another cell phone carrier. They have become the worst of the worst. I paid my cell phone bill at the first of the month as I usually do. A few days later my service was turned off. I called the company and talked to a flipping little idiot. She told me I had not paid my bill. I argued with her and finally gave up. A little later a supervisor called me and apologized and gave me a discount for my service and turned it back on. Shortly thereafter my service was turned off again. I'm not paying them another penny. They have lost a long standing customer, in me. The really sad part is that my phone is still practically new. I am now faced with finding another cell phone company. I don't se how Metro can stay in business very long when they run off their best customers. Don't waist your time or money with them.

Ain't worth 2$

I spend 100$ a month 1200. 00+ a year on phone service to get idiots on a customer service call that ends up with me wanting to change phone companies. I change companies and Bam the idiots return. Life would be Grand if we got what we payed for and received Excellent Customer service, unfortunately that is in an imaginary world because these phone companies are Trash. Money is all this country cares about so Thank you Metro for not being worth $#*! and Thank you T -Mobile for following me to metro and showing me how much of a POS you remain to be.

So I got a new phone...metro-pcs (@ 229 E.E Butler parkway suite 200 Gainesville,Ga) lost my SD card. And I tried calling customer service about this and my voice mail wasn't working. They erased a vm from a loved one who passed away. And according to them they are sorry (4 1/2 hours later) but I need to call corporate...THERE IS NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER FOR THEM. I'm beyond pissed 17 years and they are losing my business. Today during these phone calls yes calls they laughed about this, hung up on me by manager, lied about a working corporate # was told by a manager that WAS in fact a working # provided by corporate for issues and emergencies,and a $10 compensation was satisfactory to them for EVERYTHING they did. This company is terrible

I just got my bill paid only to see some hotspot used. How is that possible? Customer service wouldn't fix it. This isn't the first time it's happened. I've had metro since it started in 1994 but with all the issues I've had since it merged with t-mobile i think it's time to switch carriers.

Untrustworthy

I paid $110 dollar bill. In return Metro created a imaginary $10 dollars. I woke up the next morning to a phone that was turn off due to a balance of $10 dollars. Unbelievable and untrustworthy. And the service is horrific.

Deceptive policy

Metro PCS seems to be scam company that contract it business activities. I recently visited Metro store on Lamer in Austin, Texas. I paid full price for a samsung phone to replace my existing phone. After going through the phone features, I realize the phone does not meet my speculation. I took the phone back for a refund with my receipt which states "Refund are accepted after 14days of purchase". The store clerk/supposedly Manager refused to honor my receipt for a refund claiming that metro does not refund purchase phone for existing customer.
Hear is my issue with this policy:
1. When I brought the phone I was never told about the none refund policy by the store attendant.
2. The receipt clearly stated that the product can be refunded within 14days as long as its in good condition.
3. I did not buy the phone on metro discount. I paid full price.
I felt deceived by Metro because the receipt statement is completely different from the company policy. This is unacceptable and a clear violation of consumer protection right.
I am writing for customers to be aware of metro double standard policy to force purchase.

METROPCS $#*!ING SUCKS

They basically have me paying for a line I don't even $#*!ing know about and I can't get in touch with there sorry $#*! customer service ppl. Every year Metro gets worse. I'll be looking for a new carrier. Salesman at metro is a $#*!ing con artist. It doesn't even seem like metro background check ppl before they are hired. If they did they wouldn't have $#*!ty ppl working for them. Y'all will reimburse me for that line or imma tear some $#*! up in that store that did this $#*! $#*!.

I have been a customer of Metro PCS since that opened. Their fees & plans are the best out there.
I went into the store the other day to purchase a new phone. They gave me a terrific deal. The lady that helped me was amazing. She was so helpful & very professional. Her name is Keyshla. She is awesome.

Bad customer service
January 25, 2021

I have been a metro customer for some years now. So many complaints and not enough space to complain. Today I tried to get money back on a puchase last week. The boss of the store said he would refund tbe purchase. Unfortunately what one person says is not the same as another employee. The head phones did not work and I called right away but could not make it back to the store until a few days later. I then was told the policy is to switch out. The head phones are trash and all I could do was to switch out the headphones. Its truly not about the headphones as much as it is metros inventory stinks from there phones to the headphones to there customer service. Up until today I would tip the employees for there time. No more. I really hope another phone company comes along soon. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

My metro PCs lady was super awesome! She took her time and was very respectful. I also got a wifi thingy, and I think that's pretty cool that it just plugs into an outlet and if I happen to move, I just take it with me, so therefore I find that to be portable.

Do Not switch to metro. To begin with every store had their own deals going on. They did not want to offer the free phones that metro advertised tried 6 different stores just to be able to switch. Service is so bad it's unbelievable. I cannot wait to switch back to cricket. Metro is a Scam by T-Mobile. They do not care about service/customer service.

Unfortunately my phone screen went out on my Motorola phone so I decided to go back to a iPhone w/ a another company. It took me 2 days to get my 6 digit transfer pin from Metro Customer Support. Metro makes it difficult to transfer your number. I was beyond exhausted! A employee named Marilyn Scott@ 1162 Ann St Montg Al went over and beyond to assist me. She exceeded the meaning of excellent customer service and definitely made my day! Thanks Marilyn

Real bad I'm from last 6 months with them then I had to change it Doe's more damage then good it drop you off when the most you need it gives 15gb hot spot data then it disconnect your network every minute. Most of the time the speed are 3-2 g in Connecticut signal bar are full but they supply low speed... Doesn't deserve more then one star according to my experience with them.

Finely I can leave this so called cellphone co. Metro ghetto phone, any problem you have with metro t mobile can be solved if you just let them take your money directly out of your bank account. Service is bad

This is a horrible company. The stores close early way before covid ever happened. As soon as I walked n to upgrade my phone I was told they don't do the free phone that's on the website. It ended up costing me 105 for a phone to drop calls n kicks you out of everything.

Worst service

I never have service on my cell phone. I switched from AT&T paying $160 a month for 2 phones. I now pay $100 so I can't complain about that but Metros service is terrible my phone never works and I need my phone to work at all times. I just may switch back to AT&T bc I never had any issues with my internet working at all. If you're looking for cheaper metro is good for that but the service is trash…. Don't switch!

Initially I thought Metro PCS was a really great carrier.
However I have had numerous calls to customer service where I was flat out lied to
The latest one was I was having a lot of problems with the call forwarding feature that would not turn off I ended up calling customer service the lady stated just simply dial pound pound 6 1 lb in that world disable the function wrong! I got SIM card read air along with invalid function.
Ended up going to the store which is 60 miles away 10 SIM cards later still getting saying problem only way to turn off the call forwarding was to remove the feature.
Rip it store basically shrug your shoulders had no idea what the problem was and start assisting another customer.
Best decision I ever made was when I poured it up my number to another carrier.
Will never be back and I'm definitely advising all my friends never go here.
