WOOF! 5 stars from Baddog at 2dogsdigs! We have tried numerous consignment services, but found out about MaxSold and thought it was an intriguing option. Did our first auction in November, and were very pleased with the results. Sure it was nervous starting at $1 - but we had some items go well over $100 that we thought had little value, so it all balanced out. Any over 95% of our nearly 200 items sold! Planning our next one right now... so, yep - BigWOOFS!
I have been to about half a dozen sales and it has always been a positive experience. The items I have purchased have been exactly what I expected and sometimes better.
If you are buying as a reseller I believe this site is a dream come true. Things to buy for dirt cheap that will make a huge profit.

I have bid on several items on maxsold over the past year and got great deals (especially on Vinyl Records). The process for picking up the items has been so easy and have had no issues. I love that it is a way to encourage the second-hand market and find a new home for these items.

I have never come across a bid site that will extend the bid time on an item, seconds before it closes. Then extend it again and again. This happened to me on 5 items in one day. This will be my first and last time on MaxSold. SKETCHY!

As a first time user of MaxSold's services I have been totally satisfied by their support and organization throughout every step of their process. My only disappointment was the prices I received from the sale - although I have to acknowledge that I do not think there was anything more MaxSold could have done.

A couple months ago, I was looking for auctions that would encompass everything I was looking for. And maxsold was it! You could do it from home! And the starting bid is only $1. Not only that, they had a wide array of items stretching from antiques to daily home items. Max sold also has an abundance of auctions. Bidding and Pick-up is easy as can be. Find auctions in your area.

It's only been a couple of months since I was introduced to MaxSold auctioning, but I've been able to pick up some great finds at reasonable prices. It's actually a bit of a thrill to see a lot you're bidding on go into extended bidding, more so when you win the lot at less than your 'MaxBid' amount.:)
Pickup is usually for a reasonable time - and you can check before bidding to make sure that the drive is worth the item(s)/price you're bidding on.
