I bought 8 items I wanted to return 3. I never got the preprinted label. I live in Vancouver Canada. First I try to do the return online wouldn't let me do it. I contacted costumer service by chat and phone after more than an hr. They wouldn't help me they told me the can't send me a label, keep telling to go to a US store and return it. They keep saying sorry but at the end they didn't do anything. Why is so hard to do return in this store, and why they can't send another label. Not only paid in USD now I cant get my money back. By the way quality is very poor. First and last time im shopping at this terrible store.
I shopped at the Ashland location yesterday. I tried on multiple different items. I wear a size 1 in jeans. I tried on multiple different pairs and I was swimming in all of them. Even the 0's. When I spoke to a stylist I was told they don't carry anything smaller.
Their sizes are complete bs. Everything runs so big. They mainly cater to the plus size community. Which is wonderful! But they shouldn't advertise as XS-3X when their XS fits like a medium.
Everything is extremely poor quality. Over priced garbage.
Just go across the street to Walmart.
Placed order Nov. 22nd, still no package Dec 6th. Called to ask about it, and the agent who I originally spoke with was so rude, talked over the top of me, told me no I couldn't speak to a manager, provided no response to my packages status or location. Called back several hours later, got a different agent who was kind and informative. December 16th, still no package, partial refund and still no product. Won't be back since this is how Maurices treats their online customers. There are literally hundreds of complaints about this exact same problem, and no response or relief from Maurices. Company started out great, not really sure what happened, but they've gone so downhill and I won't be shopping here any longer. (Only gave 1 star as 0 stars wasn't an option).
Have been on hold for DAYS... Never get to speak to a " customer care" rep. ( secretly think there aren't any) un answered emails... RIDICULOUS! Plus if you are keeping us on hold, PLEASE change that God awful elevator music.
Placed an order online November 20. I still haven't received it. It was in Preshipment forever and has been in LA since the 15th. I've chatted with several customer service agents and last week "Marge" reassured me that my package would arrive before the 20th. She offered me 200 points for the hassle. I haven't received my package or the points. I contacted customer service again today, and was told that no action could be taken until the 29th. After Christmas. All the Christmas items I ordered would be worthless. I've been refused a refund. The customer service agent repeatedly said they were sorry, but still no resolution. I feel ripped off. I love my local Maurices, but the customer service agents are not helpful at all. It makes me feel completely helpless and leary of ordering online in the future. They have my money and all I get are excuses for why my order is late.
Beware of ordering from Maurice's online. I was notified on Aug. 4th that one item in my order was canceled due to it not being available. The other item was shipping and the third item would be shipping soon. I received the one item that was shipped and noticed online that the item not shipped dropped by $10. I contacted Maurice's and was told that the rest of my items were canceled. I was never notified, but the customer service representative stated that I was notified on Aug. 11th. I had no email she resent me the email but there was no date stamped from the initial email. Then here we are two days later from my supposedly email that my items were canceled and I went online and can order those two canceled item. So in two days Maurice's restocked. Beware they are not renting the truth to their customers online.
I've been a Maurice's customer for over five years. After today I'm done! I had to send an email on the morning I placed this order as the promo code wasn't working as usual. Then due to slow processing i Find out is not in stock. So I miss out on the bogo. I ONLY placed this order for the item they canceled. To ad to the frustration they billed me for the FULL order! I am so sick of this companies hiccups & dwindling product quality I'm going back to my upcoming designer favs on amazon. Their prices compared to Maurice's. Done.
Wow! Ive been reading the Maurices reviews and a good majority of them give them a bad rating. Hmm I wonder why? ITS BECAUSE THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE & extremely unprofessional to say the least I was accused of buying their clothes taking them home wearing them and then returning them! How the hell are you going to wear 7 pieces of clothing in a 24 hour period! I was like wow really... don't shop at Menomonee Falls Wisconsin store those girls that work there are like something out of a horror movie... they actually banned me from shopping in their store because I spoke my mind and this one girl who works there didn't like it so they banned me from shopping there. Unbelievable I just laugh about it now
The first time I went to Maurices was when the store first opened and it was great. I went back several times after and even signed up for a credit card. I was so happy to have a different plus size store in town with awesome clothing. Half the store was plus size and the other half regular sizes. But now it's changed. More than half the store cater to regular size clothing and in the back corner is the small selection of plus size clothing. Now I'm so disappointed on how the store is set up. I wasted my time signing up for a credit card that I hardly ever use any more. The plus size clothing doesn't have a good selection anymore. I go back every so often to check it out. But every time I go it's a waste of time. WTF Maurices! BOOOOOOO!
I would like to start by saying how I have enjoyed the products that I have received from Maurices in the last online purchases that I have received. What I did not appreciate was the surprisingly large amount of money charged to my credit card. I was given no indication at the time of purchase that the items and my total were in USD, I was notified on my credit card statement of the conversion to CAD, 40 dollars more than what I thought I was going to be paying. There is no way I would have purchased the items had I been informed.
I was also extremely disappointed that after my order was submitted and processed, I was notified through an email that Maurices had cancelled one of my items for a list of reasons that seemed vague and unprofessional. I would like to re state how much I have enjoyed the clothing and shoes that I have ordered but unfortunately will not be ordering again.
Made the mistake of buying a gift card online to pick up at the store. DON'T DO IT! The store never recieved it, even though I got repeated emails telling me it was ready to pick up at that store. The sweet gals at the store were on hold with customer service for 4o mins. And where assured my $300 refund was on the way. Never was. I called customer service and said they couldn't help me - had to go to a different dept. that would "get back to me". Theft.
Went to the Liberty mo. Location to shop. 3 out of the 5 items that I picked to buy off the 75% off rack were in the wrong location. Needless to say when I went to buy them I found out & they wouldn't make good on those items. I also have spent hundereds of $$ there & haven't recieved rewards. Every time I bring it to their attention I get the same answer which leads to nothing. Also when I got home with the merchandise I did buy had the security tags still on them. I do not live in Liberty. Such a hassle & inconvenience.
I went to the store on the 19th of March 2020, the door was closed around 13:40 and with no sign stating that they will open probably after 1hr or so, then I thot maybe they closed the door on purpose... Then I went and open the door, then the African guy came and shouted at me... " we will open after lunch!" I asked what time is after lunch? He didn't even know, he kept on saying after lunch... That was very disgusting! I don't think I will shop again in this store!
Maurice's is very slow to ship and they don't respond to customer emails. I am never shopping with them again.
I'm amazed at the reviews for Maurices saying "great customer service" because I have NOT experienced that. I placed an order for 2 skirts on Aug. 24,2016, they shipped on Aug. 26,2016, so no problems there. The problem is I cannot get any tracking updates since the 26th - the FedEx site just says "label created". What? There are NO updates since Aug. 26th, and today is Sept. 1st? And I tried to call customer service yesterday and held for over 5 minutes and had to hang up. Then I sent an online inquiry and have NOT received a response to my inquiry. They sure don't mind taking your money, but customer service with them? It's NON EXISTENT in my opinion! Will NOT buy from them again.
The merchandise may be okay, but the employees no way. They are gossipy, rude and unpleasant. Need to e happy when spending hard earned money.
Maurice s has a great selection of style and sizes for both clothes and shoes. I am always able to buy many different outfits without breaking the bank.
I really like this store but their credit card does not offer automatic payments. I can only assume this is to snag late fees. So, beware if you open an account.

I purchased a pair of jeans verve size 29 took them home and tried them on, they fir just not spectacular, went back the same day an purchased another pair same size, to see if they might have a slight difference. Brought both pairs back with tickets and reciepts, paid cash forboth and the girl named Kayla standing around the counter telling all of her customers about her post tramatic stress decided to tell me she can only issue me a merchandise credit. She calls the store manager, who basically lied an said she has had to tell me about this before, which is a lie because i have seldom shopped thier since the pandemic. So she is standing by the girl who says they looked worn, how worn can they be I ha them each for 2 hours and a day. I am reaching out to the better business bureua Maurice Polaris, dont pay with cash, you wont get it back. I dont know what kind of racket they are running,As soon as i figure out how to put pictures of the jeans and reciepts on here I will
Have bought several times from the website. Was happy with most of what I ordered- delivered timely and the jeans were on sale.
HOWEVER- I am STILL waiting almost TWO MONTHS for my second refund. The first refund took SIX WEEKS and I have already made two calls -- Asked to speak with the "managers" but they both sounded just as dumb as the other people I talked to! NO Straight Answers - Just given the runaround! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ASAP!
