Yahoo changed my password and is now demanding ransom to change it back, I use yahoo a little since subscribing to verizon years ago, Then verizon gave or sold all subscriber to yahoo, and yahoo just diabled my email by changing the password and want $16.00 month to fix it, Yahoo is ransom ware at it best, right out in the open.

I've had a yahoo account for a while and all of a sudden it won't let me log in because I do not have my old phone number to verify that it's me. It won't even let me try to type in my password. Well I gave the place a call to try to recover it, and now all of a sudden they want me to subscribe for 12 bucks a month and won't let me recover it unless I pay! Wtf worse company EVER. I hope yahoo sinks for this!

Some mofo rainbow trash came out of nowhere, and got in my face on Y! A years ago started attacking me and my friends, so I put the piece of excrement in place. Next thing I know, Y! Deleted my email that I had for close to 20 years. No warning. I had private files, one-of-a-kind childhood photos saved, emails exchanged with VIPs, all was gone in a blink. And you libtrash want a cashless society? Wait until they do that with your savings balance! Yahoo is utter trash! Close your accounts and move them while you still can! This was 2 free email accounts, btw.

Yahoo just wants money

Yahoo hass started a thing of blocking access to your e-mail for 15 seconds if you are running an ad blocker. TO stop this you have to either allow ads or pay for a premium service. I can live with that HOWEVER if you are running an ad blocker you also can not clear your spam folder OR block e-mails!
I remember when yahoo was a great service but not any more. Even though it is a lot of work instead of doing what they want I will I will set up email with a different provider and just let this one eat up space on their server collecting spam and junl mail

I get a bogus caption on my page stating no internet access, which is an obvious lie! If that were the case, I wouldn't be actively online. I couldn't send an important email. The chat popped up & I explained what happened, "sorry we won't be able to help you, you have to subscribe to our paid service." We are still in a Pandemic & companies are nickel & diming people for extra cash. Shame on them!

I hate it I'm so Ben angrier that I can't go back to the old version. If I hadn't had that email address for years I would go with google. Why would I want ads at the top of my email and notices of what I'm about to read anyway. It's not smart I hate it

What a scammers

My emails disappeared just like that and i wanted contact yahoo what's going on and just find out that i have to pay to get them back...What? How can you scam people lime that these emails did not disappeared jist like that YOU deleted them and then ypu want money for giving them back...DISGUSTING SCAMMERS

Pay for nothing
March 16, 2021

We paid for a year subscription for Yahoo Pro and still received ads. I've been on the phone and they are trying to tell me it was on the Yahoo Home Page, when I know for a fact it wasn't. I asked for a credit but will not get it. We will probably keep it for a another year but please watch it and report issues! Not happy!

I love yahoo mail

I love yahoo mail. Love the layout and easy to navigate I like it better than gmail but there is one thing that I choose to just use gmail instead of yahoomail and thats because yahoomail keeps locking me out of my account. Iv made countless accounts and ill type in my password and its not the right password but it is i have the same password for all of my accounts so i dont forget them and it locks me out. Wtf yahoo! Im guessing they may have an issue with account hackers or something thats the only guess i could have. Oh well i guess.

I dont leave reviews. Ever. But here I am!
I called into Yahoo because my account was actively being hacked into, I. E. changing my contact info, accessing my bank info, credit cards, etc. I couldn't even speak with a representative about it without paying for Yahoo plus. Which I did. I was not told that this would be a monthly charge. But to my surprise, I was charged again the following month. When I called to cancel, I had a representative offering me the service for a month free and anything else but cancelling my order! He finally did, but refused to issue a refund for the month of service I did not request. Horrible Customer Care. I have had my yahoo email for almost 20 years, but will never use a yahoo email again. SMDH

Garbage

I have had my yahoo account since 1999. The latest version of mail is just absolute garbage.
I have stopped using it for anything meaningful. Mainly keep it for the logons I have used it for through the years at other sites.

The new Yahoo Mail really s**ks! The new themes make quick reading and scanning difficult. The email thread feature doesn't work well and is very confusing. They got rid of stationary feature, and the tab feature is not the default setting. Uncheck the view email in thread setting makes the new Yahoo Mail more acceptable, but the new look and themes are still terrible.

I have been with Yahoo! Mail since the beginning of time, or so it seems. My first account was free, and I was satisfied with it; then I paid a small subscription (<$20) annually and still was satisfied with it. Now, I am a Pro mail member. I do not object to paying the Pro Mail subscription, as I am still satisfied with it. That is, as long as I, not Yahoo!, decide which emails belong in the Spam folder. I pay for the email service, and you have NO right to direct all emails originating from The American Independent Party, The American Freedom Party, Reform, the NRSC, President Trump, etc.to Spam or Junk. You also have NO right to decide it is ok for me to receive all emails related to the Democratic Party and fake news. Your service is to provide an email platform, not force your political preference on your clients. I am extremely disappointed with Yahoo! And feel betrayed. What happened to Freedom of Choice, my Choice, to decide which party I want to support?

Yahoo sucks bad!. They charge you 1.00 a minute for email support. They charge you to get your email password. I have never in 50 years had to pay for customer service calls. Also comcast charges 1.00 a minute to get 1 customer service question answered. They are doing this since covid 19 started because there is no covid. I want you to know the foreigners at Yahoo that you cannot understand at all that speak arabic or cambodian that I hate your guts hate your guts hate your guts hate your guts a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot!

Spam filter takes out what are obviously legit emails. Have implement filter to get round this, but Yahoo changes settings without notifying.
No auto forward - surely this is a standard for a POP mailbox.
Keeps hiding function and features and offers very little help (could not find a Help link on my last visit to the site to discover why I seemed to have missing emails.
Marks out of 10 Functionality 4, useability 6, support 0... I can't be bothered to carry on. I will spend my time switching to another instead (have thought of doing this many times especailly hafter the system was hacked and they never told us (or NZ Telecomms who were rebadging the service) some years ago.

My account was locked out and i i hadnt changed my number from my old one just yet. So when i tried to verify it. It had an email recovery that i had never seen before so i called up customer support and they were trying to verify what email i had sent last with exact subject line and email or the person... like what the $#*!? Who actually remembers that... lmfao. They are terrible with customer service and locked me out of my OWN account. Had all my information on it and now its lost forever... hope their happy because they can keep the $#*!ing account for all i care to be honest. Bunch of foreingers running customer support as well cant even understand what the hell they are saying

Ever since Yahoo announced their Plus email, I've been getting well over a 100 spam emails a day. I cleared my spam folder this morning and as of now (12:50 PM) I have moved 52 emails to my spam folder. Since this started, McAfee has cancelled my virus protection about 6,000 times, I have won at least 12,500 tools from Ace Hardware, also won around 975 Ninja processors from Kohls, and have been contacted by 450 lawyers wanting to know if I lived in Camp Lejeune. If this is the only marketing tool they have, they are in a bad place. I will not give in to their very low tactics but will be using AOL more than Yahoo. I receive very few spam emails on AOL so they will be my choice from now on.

Called them today

After calling to discuss a issue, and quickly being hung up on and my number blocked. I called back again fron a different number once again was quickly hung up on and number blocked. I called 5 times using different numbers never got to discuss my issue, everyone who answered sounded like nigerians, bottom line c9mpletely done with anything yahoo.

All these videos of taking a few courses and getting a job in tech must be true. I have been on the phone for 29 minutes and counting and this agent is completely not qualified. He has asked me the same 3 questions 10 times in 4 different ways as if he's buying time. I can't even believe the conversation... I wish I could play it back to someone. My patience started out more than accomodating and after 15 minutes I couldn't anymore. I am always nice to customer service people regardless but this time around I started questioning whether I was actually speaking to Yahoo or whether it was a scam or maybe I was even being "Punked."

In the end, he didn't resolve anything. I am still missing my inbox and Yahoo has a solid track record of being the easiest service for people to hack. Yahoo customer service is the WORST. This person was the epitome of an underqualified person they hired out of being desperate during the great resignation.

One day i decided to log into my account from my phone can't sign in because of the verification. Then where it shows you an alternate email to verify but it gives me an email that's not even mine. Google couldn't prove my own email is mine same as yahoo. This is unbelievable and there is nothing more i can do. I feel like they just decide to say oh my own account doesn't belong to me because of suspicious activity. I don't understand all i use my yahoo mail is on my phone because i work alot and now i cant do anything about it they cant do anything about it either I'm so pissed off right now.
