I have 6 email addresses and they are constantly messing with me about logging in. It's so bad that I have completely given up trying to log in on my phone. They are constantly trying to sell me that yahoo plus thing. Are they bugging me because I won't do it? Hmmm
I can't figure out why it takes up to 12 hours to receive my emails. I applied for a job and the hiring agents sent me some items to fill out and it took 10 hours to arrive. The workday was completed before I was able to respond. Second, I needed to reset my password but by the time the email arrived the time to reset my password had expired. What is the deal with Yahoo emails?
Trying to sign in into my email account on a Sunday and totally can not. WTF. I got things to do. I needed to sign in to do my work and I can't log in into my account and can't even call anybody because it says "server unavailable". Um ok than forget it, going somewhere else. Nobody uses yahoo anymore anyways I don't know why I stuck around this long. Thanks for helping me leave now.
I do not subscribe to Mail Pro but receive many times a day an ad from Yahoo telling me I should remove an ad blocker I have had installed professionally for years. Yahoo's message is a pop up that they say will continue to come until I removed my ad blocker and get this: They want me to do that so I can subscribe to their service for $3.49 a month. If I do not, Yahoo threatens to keep sending the popups until I do their bidding.
Credit wise lowered my score in a single time by 13 points?!, because my yahoo account got compromised and suggested that I must change my yahoo password. For days I tried to do that in vain. When I called yahoo. They wanted me to pay $13 a month to help me change my password.!
Yahoo is the king among kings of the internet adage, "If it ain't broke, fix it anyway". I'm envisioning a long conference table with suits on one side and IT nerds on the other all trying to justify their existence: "Ok, let's get rid of function and simplicity and replace it with pretty pictures". "YES! We're all a bunch of geniuses. Now let's vote ourselves big raises".
Every single time I want to log into my email, I must get a new password. Every single time! After a very long time of this crap, I'm finally tired of it. If I could give zero stars, I would. Proton email I go.
The company is slowing scams in order to ask people to sign in the "premium yahoo". I had many scams and the computer does not let me to mark them as scam. I called yahoo for help and they wanted me to sign. In to be able to deactivate the account or report the scams.
I bought an Emirates vacation package from groupon and it was a total scam. I have lost 5000 dollars on this vacation package. Emirates would not give me the information I needed to complete the e-visa I needed to get into Kenya. They only informed me of an e-visa a week and a half before I was to leave and this was not enough time to get the e-visa before I left. Groupon will not help at all to get my money back.
I don't understand how an international company like Yahoo is able to report articles that are bias and anti Trump. It is insulting disrespectful and completely Democratic and misinformative to all of their readers.
Reporters are suppose to report the facts and the truth, not lies and twisted views that fit their own narrative.
Every time I try to log into one of my yahoo email accounts I get error messages, must verify with a code sent to my phone and then change my password. Change my password each and every time to log in. I tried yahoo email help and in a chat was given a link to a specialist who wanted $150 to try to help. Can't even do a vacation message to writers to not use my yahoo mail but use my gmail. What a shame for the email that had the best UI that was very east to use.
Thank you Yahoomail. They have been a good friend to me unlike hotmail. They had a technical issue where one could not send emails. I managed to contact them and got back a response from them and the problem was fixed with an apology. Thank you Yahoomail. I love the fact that you can have a live chat with the technical team but their help site needs to be a bit more user friendly so that in case of emergency technical difficulties one can know where to easily search for the contact section on the site to contact them. I actually had to use the feedback section to contact them about my problem but thankfully it all worked out.
I give 0 over all they suck, I change my phone number on my account when i try to log in and try to send my password to my phone shows my new number ones I push send it gets change to my old number, now i call to try to solve the problem and they can not do any ting about it, that means i last all my emails and information.
Quit popping up with the stupid ad free option! I dont want or need it. Quit popping up. I change it to the basic version, but it just pops back up everytime. Again, I dont care about the new ad free $#*!!
I have had the same account with yahoo for ever I have a landline listed as my phone and now it doesn't like my password but there is no way to reset it since my phone is a landline and not a cell. Not going to be using that site any more I have tried other ways and they are not helpful at all. I have had a yahoo account for over 25 years and if I can't get back into this one then it will die off and I will no longer use them
Have been a user (for personal email) for many, many years. Seems like lately, it's just been a bunch of!@#$%. It's been many issues, but today I can't even forward emails. I use Gmail for work, and have to admit I'm liking it more and more.
Yahoo should have a contact email which I'm trying to create an account, going to yahoo answers while some information is about five years ago.
And I'm trying to contact them with my default email account and of course they don't have a email how are people suppose to contact them about issues?
But new I'm trying create a account but of course where's your phone number?
Well I don't have a phone number!
I haven't even tried it yet all because of the phone number thing!
If you want to tell me what it's like please contact me.
My email is *******@gmail.com
But I have heard some bad things about it but I am not sure If they are true.

Yahoo's algorithm regularly sends conservative news sources to the spam folder even after repeatedly whitelisting the sender, adding to contact, marking as "not spam" etc etc.
As an unaffilliated voter I value news sources from all perspectives and if the US Postal Service isn't allowed to not deliver mail properly simply based on the senders political affiliation then email services like Yahoo shouldn't be allowed to do it either. Quite frankly, it's sad and pathetic that we have to tell people these things are wrong.
In the future I will only be using my 20 year old Yahoo mail account only for sites that I suspect will spam my inbox because that is all Yahoo has earned from me.
It automatically signs me out each time. I now cannot access the account at all because I have a new phone and phone number. It wants to send a text to the old phone to make sure it is me. I didnt ask for that kind of security for my email. I dont have another email account like the other option it wanted. Now I am forever locked out of this email. I will never use them again and highly recommend others not to as well. I should be able to log in with my email and password with no problems. If I wanted to have higher security on the account I should have to ask or choose that option.
Answer: You can get the old version back by clicking on the "SWITCH TO BASIC MAIL WITH FEWER FEATURES" below the YAHOO POP-UP AD BOX. UNFORTUNATELY THIS YAHOO AD BOX CONTINUES TO POP-UP whenever I TRY TO OPEN AN EMAIL. I can find no way to delete this MOST ANNOYING YAHOO AD BOX. YAHOO HELP IS NO HELP as they IGNORE my requests.
