Beautiful well made dress. Colour true to the photo on website. Very comfortable fabric. Well made and the material is rich and flows as I walk. Many compliments. Fast shipping. Help given from assistant was much appreciated. Jj House is my preferred online store for formal dresses and accessories.

ALTHOUGH THE DRESS WAS LABELED THE SIZE ORDERED IT DIDN'T FIT MY WIFE AS OTHER SIMILAR SIZES DID AND COULD NOT BE ALTERED. MADAME BRIDAL WOULD NOT RESPOND TO OUR REQUEST FOR RETURNING IT AND THEN MADE FALSE AND DEMEANING ACCUSATIONS TO DISCOVER CARD WHEN WE DISPUTED THE CHARGE WITH THEM. NUMEROUS CALLS AND EMAILS TO THEM HAVE BEEN IGNORED AND NOW WE HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL AND ANY OTHER ENTITY WE CAN THINK OF FOR THE $597 DRESS

Do not purchase from this online retailer! I was not satisfied with my dress (spent $729) and they only offered an exchange from the dresses THEY had in stock (144 dresses, only 26 of which were in my size!) AND THEY DOCKED ME 20% for a restocking fee ($145!) so I ended up having $583.20 to spend. My new dress I felt like I was forced to choose that I don't even love was $105 short of the $583.20 and they just kept the difference! So they stole $250 from me! Absolutely despicable thieves. Do not purchase from here! I will putting this EVERYWHERE.

This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. A 3-day return policy is absurd, and they won't take phone calls. They only reply to emails with automated responses - if they reply at all. They are crooks and should be closed down. I've read nearly a hundred negative reviews about this company (a little too late for me, unfortunately) and now I own a $1000 dress that I cannot wear - the same story over and over. They are stealing money from innocent consumers that have become accustomed to online purchases and fair return policies. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau.

I ordered a dress on line that was too small, but was able to swap for a different style. I do not like the new dress at all. When I asked to return for a refund they refused. Now it appears they have blocked all of my means of communication. I can't access their site and they never answer their phone. Mailbox is always full so cannot leave a message. $550 lost. BTW the new dress came with no receipt.

I recently bought a Soulmates gown from Madame Bridal. It's a lovely gown, but just a bit on the snug side. I e mailed them twice and asked if I could exchange it for a larger size. When I didn't hear back from them I called their office. The gentlemen that I spoke to said they could not exchange it, as it was on sale, which it wasn't according to Madame Bridals website. The gentlemen said the only he could do was sell me another gown in a larger size for 10% off.
He said it had shipped directly from Soulmates so there was nothing he could do, even though I had paid Madame Bridal directly for the gown.
I called Soulmates and they said the did not have it in a larger size, even though their website said they did.
So now I have a dress that doesn't fit and I'm out $370 dollars with nothing to wear to my daughters wedding.
My advice - don't buy either of these companies. I'm sorry I did

GOT THE DRESS ON TIME BUT TOO BIG-NO PACKING SLIP - NO ORDER NUMBER -THEY SAY JUST SEND AN EMAIL -VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE NO EXPLAINATION ON WHAT HAPPENS NEXT -i WOULD NEVER USE THEM IF ANY POSSIBILITY OF RETURN -CANT TALK TO ANYONE ON A $600 DRESS

I bought a $400 dress, opened the box to discovered the dress was damaged. Hole in it, missing rhinestones, detail strips actively curling up and falling off. I called, left a phne message, sent 2 emails, sent 2 text essages, and inbox nessaged on instagram. They have absolutly ignored me. No response at all.

I am in the entertainment field. I had tried to find a dress in multiple sizes for up coming events in my field. The accented sales rep ( who did not identify himself) who spoke with me said he only had small sizes. I usually buy several of one style if I like it, but he did not have them. I had mentioned the debacles the Manufacturer I had experienced but instead of listening he disconnected me. Obviously he did not wish to court me as a prospective customer in the future. That being said he had no idea whom he was speaking with, nor how much money I could possibly spend with him. To me the dress not even $1000. 00 was nothing compared to what I normally spend. But he has lost a potential buyer for life without knowing or caring. From reading some reviews online about others experiences, I am not alone in my opinions.

BUYER BEWARE

None the Dale's assistant did not wish to help me in any manor not even entice me for future purchases with the establishment.

I carefully took all the measurements on their size chart which indicated I should order a size 16. Normally I wear a 12-14. The dress arrived and it is huge. No where during the purchasing process did the website say this was a "special order". That notice came after they excepted my order and charged my credit card. Now they are claiming it is a special order and will not give me a refund. I have never been so upset. I cant afford to just throw $315.00 out the window. Buyers beware!

I purchase a dress for an event for 750 the zipper does not work when I reach out to the merchant he told me try a bar soap or wax I told him it did not work that I also attempted to change the zipper took the dress to a seamstress and was told the dress I'd hidden zipper that would not fix the issue. Advise the merchant he stated he will contact the designer below is his

I am being told the hidden zipper for dresses that have the decoration on it have to be zipped up carefully. They all work the same way. Another zipper will not work. This is the professional opinion of 2 seamstresses working for us.

Customer service is awful, was told I could return a dress in stock, once I received it and wanted to exchange they said no it was a special order! Also free shoes and veil are a joke you get the cheapest not nice looking shoes available. Forget them answering phone or email

Placed an order for wedding dress and was informed dress was not available in ivory but ivory/cafe was available. So, communicated I would like the one available but upon checking the status a week and a half later I was informed they could not locate the dress. Four weeks later still waiting a refund on a dress that was never available. Poor communication for site as well!

I had purchased my wedding dress from this company in November of 22 and was told that it would be here by January. Still have not received my dress, I then started getting an off feeling that something is wrong, 2 days later I receive a message on Facebook from this wonderful lady and she tells me that she has received my dress, mind you she lives in a different state. She sends me proof that she has my dress we talk and she tells me that this company has lost her dress and refuses to refund her. Just imagine if she was not this nice person and did not contact me I would be out of a wedding dress, me and her both have contacted this company and have been hung up on and ignored. Now I am waiting for this so called package that the company has in transit coming to my house. Lets hope it is this ladies dress so I can send it to her and we can stop dealing with this terrible company. I HOPE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO MY DRESS AS WELL. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERRRRRR

Never buy from this crook.
When I called to ask if he had the Mori-Lee dress I wanted in the size I needed he said Yes.
When I received the dress it was at least two sizes bigger than I ordered. The size tag was loosely stitched in with a nylon thread and was coming undone when I opened the box
When I called, he said its a final sale, (he never said this before) and that I can take it to be altered and he would pay the charge.
Every bridal store I took the dress to have it altered, said the same things. "That's not the size dress stated."
"He hasn't been honest, he's tricked you"
"That dress is wayyy to big to be altered!"
When measured against other Mori-Lee dresses of the size I ordered, the difference is astounding... the dress he sent me is much much bigger.
I only gave one star because there is nothing less, but BEWARE. He wont respond to my emails, won't take the dress back.
He is VERY dishonest.

I placed on online order 3/10. Was told the item will arrive no later than 4/30. Five days later I contacted the store and wrote an email to the owner requesting a cancellation of the order. On day six (yesterday) the item arrived. So of course the owner never planned to email me back. Why the item arrived so quickly in my opinion is so that they can keep all your money and not refund a dime. How does an order that doesn't even give me a shipping confirmation, as they said they would, get me a product from China so quickly? Again, in my opinion, they ship it overnight so you really have no recourse to stop it and the payment. Most online retailers wait until the items ships before charging the amount on your cc. No, not these people. They charged immediately, even though they claimed the item would be arriving sometime before 4/30. Be careful people, they also charge you a $10 drop shipment fee, and there is NO reason to pay that fee. That's another way for them to take your money "legally". PUUULease... these people rip you off right and left. The owner is 100 years old and has seen and taken advantage of every trick in the book. He's sitting on all kinds of wealth from yours and my money. Why can't bridal websites STOP taking advantage and just act more like department stores, which refund your money if you are unsatisfied or change your mind? Because it's the wedding business and they feel they can rip you off because they know you'll be trying several dresses before you find the one. Just look elsewhere. These people are not worth taking your money like they did with me. Why are the return policies so strict? Ridiculous, in my opinion. Go elsewhere, where they treat you like a person and not another pocketbook. Very unhappy. Now I'm stuck with a dress I don't even want or need. I will not pay these people another penny to "take it back". I will pay a tailor money to have it shortened and wear to other events. All I can say is I'm so relieved it was on the lower end of my price range so I was out only a few hundred and not several hundred. BE SO CAREFUL. I have learned so many lessons on this first attempt to buy a dress from a reputable retailer, that I may write a book. This place will be a chapter of what not to do, all negative. GOOD LUCK PEOPLE. LOOK ELSEWHERE. Stick with the department store websites, which allow you to buy and return if needed.

Oh yeah, the owner told me his name is Simon. Was I talking to Simon Simon? The owner's name is Brad Simon. If he really cared about customer service, sooooo many conversations would be totally different with customers. Of course they tell you that you get a free pair of earrings, my $#*!. There is none and never have been. They suck and anyone that continues to buy from them after all these negative reviews: well, I guess you don't care! Good luck to you then. Everyone else, stay away. Thank you.

Be very careful who you give your cc information to. The bridal retailers will eat you alive if you are not educated in the bridal dos and don'ts.

If I could give a zero, I would. If you need a dress for an important event, stay away from this disreputable company. My daughter followed the advice of the size chart and ordered her dress in the recommended size. It is too big! Due to the poor quality of the material and the particular design of the bodice of the dress, I do not think alterations will be successful. Even if so, the alterations will be significant. I would rather pay for quality, not alterations. Upon requesting an exchange, the company lied about the availability of the size I needed. Moreover, the company lied about sending a pair of earrings with the purchase. No such earrings were received. Read the BBB complaints. Read the many other negative complaints on this site. Also, please note that many disreputable Internet companies post fake positive reviews. Save your time and money and find a reputable seller of dresses for your special occasion.

I would NOT order from Madame Bridal. I ordered a dress that did not fit and they said it was special order and would not offer a refund! They have a very confusing return policy. I read it all but did not understand that my dress was special order. They get it from another store and then say it is "from another manufacturer" and it is final sale. What is someone supposed to do with a formal gown that doesn't fit?! They were rude in their emails, refused to make an exception and I would NOT trust that they will take care of you if you buy and something is not right! I would give 0 stars if I could.

I recently purchased a size 6 Mac Duggal sequined jumpsuit from Madam Bridal using the Mac Duggal size guide. The day I received it I contacted Madame Bridal to arrange for a size exchange to an 8. Madame Bridal was difficult to reach and when they finally did email me back, their reply was disrespectful and arrogant: They refused to exchange or refund the Mac Duggal jumpsuit and this was their response:

"We always encourage our customers to order their actual size rather than a size or 2 smaller in the hopes that by the time they wear the garment they will fit in it. We will take up your case with the designer Mac Duggal."

So, I posted a one-star review for Madame Bridal on trust pilot, Facebook, Yelp, Google Reviews, Trip Advisor, the Better Business Bureau, and Site Jabber.

I received a text on my cell phone and this email from Madame Bridal:

"Hi Jill, my name is Simon. I am the owner of Madame Bridal. I do want to start by saying that our response to your concerns was wholly inappropriate.
Therefore this is what I am proposing. Please return the jumpsuit back to our store.
I already refunded your account.
I further would like to do the following. I would like to send you the size that you are looking for at no cost to you.
I owe you another explanation...
We just follow Mac Duggals policy. In other words we pay for these dresses just like to pay us. And Mac duggal has no refund policy for individual stores.
In some intetances you can order directly from Mac duggal. In those types of situations Mac Duggal offers a full refund.
What happens now is we will take your jumpt suit back and put it in our inventory in hopes of selling it one day.

For all this we ask that if this offer is acceptable to you, please change your comments and your one star review on both sites.

To sum everything up.
Your account is fully refunded
You can return the jumpsuit to the address above
Tell me what size you will be needing as our gift
Change your review to a better one
I am copying the person in charge of our social media so he would make sure everything I promissed is done for you. Best Regards,"

So, in summary, Madame Bridal gave me terrible customer service and accused me of being delusional about my dress size. Then Madame Bridal saw my reviews: They refunded me and then offered to bribe me with another jumpsuit for free IF I WOULD CHANGE MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. They asked me to lie to you so they could continue to provide shoddy service to the public. Look at the reviews for yourself. So many people have had the same issue with the company!

If you need to return for any reason, they will tell you your dress is a special order and No refunds. Which is not what the website says. Very bad business. Now they've taken their website down. I am disputing this charge and sending the dress back.

I would not recommend ordering from this business. I worked and saved to buy a special prom dress for my senior year. When the dress arrived, it was too short for me. When I asked if I could return it for another size or dress, they advised that my dress was a "special order" (even though they didn't advise me of this fact at the time of purchase) and could not be returned. I believe that they probably call all online orders "special orders" so that you are stuck with having no option for refund. How would anyone want to order a dress through an online retailer that cannot be returned if there is a problem with size? I begged and begged and they refused to help me return my dress.

I ordered a dress two weeks before my need by date and paid an extra $70 for shipping to ensure I got it in time. It was updated to canceled a few days later. I called to figure out why my order wasn't being shipped and the owner told me it was not available and the inventory was not yet changed online. He told me he had, IN STORE, the same exact dress but in a different color. I went ahead and ordered the new dress. He ensured me I would have my new dress by Thursday knowing I needed it by that Saturday (two days later). I did not have my dress by Thursday so I called on Friday (The day before I needed this dress). He proceeded to tell me the dress was not being shipped and there's nothing he could do but refund my money and quickly hung up. I now am dressless and beyond upset with this joke of an operation.

I ordered a Bari Jay dress from Madame Bridal Online for a friend's wedding. On the night of the wedding, it tore at the seems. It was clearly a very poorly made dress, certainly not worth the amount of money I was forced to pay for it. Not to mention, it was extremely uncomfortable even before it ripped. I spoke with a woman from Madame Bridal named Cindy, who was very rude and said nothing could be done.

This operation is so poorly run. There is no one the staff that is interesting in providing any customer service. I reached out to numerous persons on several occasions via phone, email, and text. If they do bother to respond, they provide no valuable information and would prefer to put the work on the customer.

I am shopping for a wedding dress. Reached out them to ask about specific inventory. They emailed me an inventory list with hundreds of dresses on it and basically told me to look myself. When I spotted one of the dresses in which I was interested, I reached out to schedule an appointment, however, no one would return my emails or phone calls. Unreal... who conducts business in this manner? You're trying to sell $1000+ gowns and you offer no assistance. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Disappointed.

AWEFUL!
I went to order a dress and they did not confirm that my order was placed, I didn't even receive a receipt, and about a month later I was charged for the bridesmaids dress. Meanwhile, I ordered the dress from a different site due to not knowing that my order was placed. The costumer service is horrible... they were so rude on both email and over the phone. I did NOT receive a refund and I am now out $300. They also took NO responsibility to what happened. To add to all of this, the dress and shipping was wayyyy over priced. All I can say is STAY AWAY!
