My name is Andrey, and I made an online order for some cologne last Friday and Saturday. I get an email that they canceled my order so I called customer service and they said there was an issue with the address. We are sorry the money isn't gonna go back on your account yet which was $175 but we can re-order it for you so I had them re-order it. Which took out another $175 and then the next day they canceled the order again because they weren't able to deliver it the same day. Which is stupid and doesn't matter to me even if they delivered it later, so I called customer service again. They said we're so sorry there's nothing we can do. The money isn't gonna be on your account right away, but we can order it again. So at this point they took out $350 and haven't fully returned anything or giving me my cologne so I told them to put in the order again. And at this point, I am already speaking to a supervisor because the representative was super disrespectful, kept speaking over me and then ended up hanging up on me and when I ask for her information, I'm pretty sure she gave me a fake name and said her name was Barbara but no last name no ID. Nothing. And until I started getting upset only then she tried to give me a 25% discount even though now I am negative on my account and I can't order any cologne from any other place. Because they haven't returned the money yet. Three times I tried ordering cologne and the third time my card declined because they made a mistake twice so I'm gonna do everything in my power to get more retribution than 25%. I have plans for that money.
They have some good sale items and the rug department is excellent, but it is difficult to find a sales person. Be patient if you want to save some money and are not in a hurry.
Most of cashiers are nice and friendly, even if I know there's some designers clothes like Karen Kane, Calvin, Tahari, etc. I avoid to buy In Macy's in malls is for dos main reasons:
1) Restrooms are most of the time derty, paper on the floor, pi on the toilet or floor, people are too lazy that don't flash toilette, and for the amount that macys sell or size of the store, should be a person checking or cleaning the restrooms once a while during the day.
2) Dressing rooms pile of clothes, I do consider always employees there so I bring out in hangers the clothes I tryied. Some don't.
Macy's used to be a great store, especially their customer service. I spend a lot of money there and the other day I went to return something because it did not fit my daughter. But it had been awhile because she was away at school. So I went to return it. I had the receipt for it $134 (just one of many dresses I bought that day, so I spent plenty of money there) tags on, perfect condition. Apparently their generous return policy has changed. It had been a little over 90 days and after 90 days you aren't eligible for any type of return. I was expecting store credit since it had been so long (as I said they used to be great about returns). But nothing no crediting card back, no merchandise credit. They agreed that it was a dress, that had not been worn and had the tags on it and I had purchased the dress from their store for $134, but too bad for me or anyone else. Gotcha! You missed the date. We don't care what your reason is or what type of customer you are. The answer is, I am no longer a customer. I don't plan to spend another dime at Macy's, so this policy isn't working for them in my case.
I have no experience with this web sit other to say their products look fine however I thought only the natzi took away peoples freedom of opinion, isnt it illegal to put in a contract or clause a fine to curtail a persons freedom of expression. Also it apears they have broken the rulles saying they have an accredited bbb a+rating which it apears they dont. The company ceo should do the right thing and drop the fine and remove it from all contracts and also clear the Palmers credit rating and also give them a substantial compensation for harasment.
Call to speak to someone about ordering a "Vac Pack"... price was not competitive and was the highest price on internet but I had 2 "Macy's Money Coupons" that had been mailed to me to use so that and a $12.+ credit on my account I thought I'd order it with Macy's and save substantial money. OMG! 15 minutes to wait on HOLD just to talk to someone in the Philippines about ordering it and he couldn't understanding & would't listen to what I was telling him... his supervisor... just as bad! Spent over hour trying to place the order, in the end got tired of the run around and poor customer service and went to another site and saved $21 + OVER Macy's "Deal of the Day" price... COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERY TIME I GO TO MAKE A PURCHASE! It is currently over 1 week BEFORE Thanksgiving and ALREADY they are performing poorly! What the HECK!
I put in a online order for Charter Club Jeans.I Like there jeans very much because they fit me good and this is why I like only there jeans.So I get a email and that my order is ready to pick up come to find out it is only one order of which I make a purchase for 4 pair of Charter Jeans...so I went to the store to pick up my order for one pair of Jeans and I order four on the same order number...ok so when I when I went to the store I just brought the jeans I order online...so Like a crazy person me went and order some more charter clubs jean...then I ask customer service the order I place today could I get it deliver instead of me picking it up from the store they told me no because after 30 mins you can not make any change to the order so now they want me to come and pick up one pick of each order of my order...and I told then I don't have the gas to keep driving to the store I am on a fix income and I do not have gas to waste coming to your store for one item.I want all of my order...so when all this is over I will never ever order anything from macy online store ever again.This will be my last.time I will go to the store instead.
The box that the shoes came in was like trash and the shoes were bent up and feels like cheap material was very disappointed but will not order online again from this site.

To give you a good example of how bad Kleargear is? I sent them a "snail mail" message telling them what I thought of their extortion tactics. They are so screwed up in the head they didn't even open my letter- they sent it back saying "REFUSED" If anyone wants to see the letter send me an email to Larry2001t AT Yahoo DOT com and I'll send you a copy of the scanned letter.
I bought a ring that was on sale on Dec.16th, and Macy's did cancel my order without notifying me. Now they want me to buy the same ring at full price.
Still a bit pricy and some of their things are not very good quality for the price but it is easy to return things to the store that were purchased online
I bought 2 bras was supposed to have been around 43 with tax and they charged my card 53 I know it's only 10 dollars but the problem is I have called twice and was told I would get a credit and never happened so I just got off the phone with another agent and was told that the agents you spoke to in the Phillipines never put in order number so couldn't credit account a bunch of BS will not use my card again
I ordered 4 blouses which didn't fit. When I requested a return, Macy's sent a return label for 3 of the items and a return label for 1 item. They claim they only received 3 rather than 4 and credited me accordingly. I spent 1 hour yesterday on the phone and the rep was from the Philippines. I realized after 1 hour on basic hold that she had no clue what I was talking about when she finally asked "would you like to reorder?" WHAT? Asked for a USA rep and she was just as bad. Then I tried again today and the same thing. I called several times and every one was from the Philippines. I asked for a supervisor and she wouldn't do it without finding out what my call was about. Then she put me on hold forever with HORRIBLE music! I will dispute this charge on my American Express and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MACY'S AGAIN!
