Customer service pick up is terrible. If you call in you get served right away. If you come in be prepared to wait awhile (bring a drink so you won't dehydrate)
If u buy any from them, and u need return to different store, they would give many execuses to refund it, for example, you used the device or you need go back to the same store where you bought.
I ordered a costly over the range microwave from Lowes.ca, the item showed 22 pieces in stock and a delivery date of 1 week to the Kanata store. I called the appliance department at the Kanata store to confirm stock and was told that they were in stock at a Lowes warehouse in the Toronto area and it should be 1 week to get it on a regular truck to the Kanata store for pickup. Fast forward 1 month, a few unanswered emails and no call backs from messages left and my microwave arrived at the store. Ok, fine, their busy, I get it, but the total lack of communication is offensive and to add insult when I went to the Kanata store to pickup, I had to wait over 40 minutes for the kid to find it in the back of the store. The customer service counter kid couldn't remember what person she asked to pull the stock, and couldn't speed up the process after 30 minutes of waiting when I asked, there were more staff in the half empty store than customers but still had to wait too long, no one there cares! Never again!
Place an order on May 23rd 2020, here we are on June 24th and I have know way of knowing what has happened with my order, I have tried online costumer service numerous times, and have got no answers, have spent lots of time waiting on the phone only to be disconnected, the one time that I got through I was told that I would have to use online customer service and the guy on the line did not care about you problem, yes I'm aware of the Covid situation but I now feel that Lowe's does not care about their customers, I'm disgusted with Lowe's a crappy American Company, NEVER AGAIN
I placed an order on April 12th. Package was set to arrive April 17th but it did not. I inquired 4 days after the scheduled delivery and was told to wait until the end of the week. So, I waited and still did not recieve my order. I waited a few more days until April 25th and emailed again. They said the they had to put a trace on the package and it would take up to 7 days. So I called after 7 days, waited on hold for 45 minutes before speaking to a live person. I was told they couldn't do anything for me because the trace hasn't been completed yet. And it can take 7 to 10 days. I told them that this was ridiculous. I have a project to finish and I want a refund for the $100 purchase I made so I can purchase the product from somewhere else. She said there was nothing she could do so I asked to speak to manager. I was on hold another 10 minutes to be told no managers are available and they will call you back within 24 hrs. So 36hrs later I recieved a call from a supervisor. Who told me they should have a update by Monday or Tuesday! They would not issue a refund or do anything about the fact that they provided such incompetent customer service although they admitted that this was handled very poorly. This is soooo ridiculous it is beyond words to describe the level of incompetence of customer service provided.
This store is the worst I have ever dealt with. I went into the lowes manning store in Edmonton yesterday as I needed a holesaw. I got what I needed and went to pay and asked the cashier if I can return it as it might be to small, was told not a problem. When I got home, I found it was to small so I decided to do the responsible thing and order the larger one online for store pick up. I waited for hours and decided to go back to the store before they closed. After waiting in a huge line I got to the pick up counter and was told they had not received my order. I said no problem, I will just get it and just wanted to return the one I purchased hours before.
I was told that I could not return items during the covid 19 crisis. I asked the manager how they can be open to sell items but not take them back. She could not give me an answer. I was frustrated and said a few things I maybe shouldn't but nevertheless you have to go to the store to either purchase or do a return, what is the difference, I had to buy the correct size, so I had to come back, why can't they take they other one back? They are using the covid 19 pandemic to hold your money! This is unacceptable and a total lack of capable management. Why Lowes can get away with this is beyond reasonable. Just as bad is there insistence of not using a "tap" type debit machine. This proves that Lowes is nothing more than a money grubbing rip off artist that is just as irresponsible as the CCP government of China!

Why do you have handicap parking outside Contractor entrance? And now I have to get to 34 character
Lowes sells 100lb propane tanks and then don't sell the hardware to connect the hoses to the tank. Spent an hour to have them figure that out,.
I have order place online on 30 sep 2020 our delivery not received till 27th oct 2020
After i am cancel order 27th oct by chat
OK. Ordered two glass window inserts for my patio doors. On Jan 13. On Jan 17 UPS arrived and left ONE of them - though packing slip noted it was package one of two. Called Lowes.ca support and was told that in this situation they would not give me a credit or send another unit until UPS had completed their "investigation" - which could take up to 3 weeks! I argued that my contract was with Lowes. THEIR contract performance issue with UPS was NOT MY PROBLEM. No satisfaction. So after about 10 days I was able to see on the UPS tracking site that they'd completed their investigation and considered the item lost and advising they would advise shipper of outcome. So I called Lowes again and said - so, where's my refund? They said they had not yet been notified by UPS of outcome and so couldn't process it. I explained that it was shown right on their tracking site that the item was lost, so if they haven't heard that from UPS maybe they should CONTACT UPS and confirm. They seemed to be unwilling to do that, instead saying had to wait until UPS contacted THEM. I waited for another week and a half, then called LOWES AGAIN. (This was my 4th half hour phone call with them). This time seemed to get someone who had some common sense and promised to follow through. He did, and I finally got the refund on Feb 20 - more than a month after the item went missing. Clearly, the last person I talked to finally took the initiative to contact UPS since the UPS claim was finally initiated that same day! Could have been initiated 3 weeks earlier. So they would have just WAITED - for how long? - letting me twist int he wind?! Clearly customer care is NOT a priority with Lowes.ca.
Ordered a dish washer and promised me 5 days after delivery. But still waiting 8th day, my installer coming tomorrow.
Purchase this item June 2nd 2022. Was informed I would receive it from 7 to 10 business days. I called when I did not receive it this item to see where it was. Talk to a few people so it would be there in two days or be there in a week. Escalated it to supervisor she told me no there is no guaranteed 7 to 10 days of purchase. She said 7 to 10 days of delivery date. Which is not correct that's not what I was informed or read when I purchased this item. I told her why would anybody buy an item on a delivery date and you don't have a clue when the delivery date is. That makes no sense. It was really ridiculous that conversation but anyways she gave me a date that it was shipped out and the date of when I would receive it. Which was June 28 still no item. Here we are July 3rd still no item. I had hired a contractor to redo my washroom which was also installing this door. I had everything organized when the door would be here so he would still be here. Now it's costing me an other $100.00 or more money to have him come back and return to put up the door when I do ever get this item. I have really gone back-and-forth with customer service I get all kinds of different answers some of them are shocked that I haven't received it that I should've received it some have told me it should be there within the next 2 days some have told me it's been lost so I really have no idea all I know is I really really wanted this item. So now I get this email asking me for a rating so obviously by now I should've received this item can't give a rating to something have not received. Is this frustrating yes very much so do I still want this item yes very much wish somebody would've just been honest with me. Not sure what I'm gonna do I'll try one more phone call next week and I see what excuse I get this time. First time using lowes on line. Very bad horrible experience
I purchased laminate flooring from Lowe's Abbotsford, BC that had a 30 year warranty, and would be installed by Lowe's authorized installers. The laminate was substandard - already peeling in the box. Expeditiously resolved with Lowe's replacing it with better quality. From there, it went downhill. The authorized installers consisted of a dad, a young son, and the young son's friend. The adult was present for about 3 hours during the course of 5 days. Some of my furniture was damaged by careless handling, some was weather-damaged when left outside overnight in the rain. They used the saw inside leaving everything covered in sawdust. They mixed the self-leveling compound inside spattering it in walls, cabinets, furniture and floors. One transition strip is not properly glued down. They have chipped door frames and corners of walls from careless handling of furniture. They moved furniture from the walls in the living room and left it piled for the entire time. They did not reposition it as they would need to move it again to do the baseboards. I was blocked in my bedroom by a sofa across the doorway, hurt my 70 year-old back climbing over it... had to go to ER, Xray and CT scan. I had no access to my kitchen or shoe cupboard from for 4 days. Had to go barefoot to McDonald's to get something to eat. It was the careless, 'we don't care' attitude exhibited by their behaviour that makes me feel the installers were not professional or customer-service oriented. Look at the photos below. Would you beive they had a strong work ethic ir prride in their work leaving my home like this? I brought this to the attention of Lowe's in Abbotsford and ProInstallers Inc head office on August 6. It is now Sept 4 and I am yet to be contacted with a resolution. If you use Lowe's Abbotsford, I strongly recommend you do not use their installers. One of the reason's I had gone through Lowe's was to avoid having to deal with two companies. I have to admit, Lowe's has let me down in this respect.
Staff don't know anything. They only price match SOME things...
Lowes price matching policy is a Joke i walked in showed them exact matching dewalt wood planer at Home Depot price $769.00 Lowes price $829.00, Lowes boasts they will match and beat the competition additional 10%, key points as long as the competitor is not a sale price or close out etc, the lady goes online and because it said home depot did not show any in stock (which was reason i went to Lowes) they refused to honor the price match, i'm so sick of these stores and the bait and switch tactics and squeezing every penny from buying public, we all know every product on the market has a huge mark up, but to not even go by your store policy you have actually in writing, as a result loosing a sale i walked out, how they managed to grow to this size is mind boggling when Home Depot and Canadian Tire offer the same items and in most cases cheaper.

Answer: IMPOSSIBLE! On hold for 45 minutes and then don't get customer service rep
Answer: Legit company but I suggest they make major changes because I do not plan to shop there ever again.
Answer: I would suggest Home Depot and Best Buy would be the closest and similar prices
