I tried on multiple browsers, multiple computers, and my cell phone, but the order would not go through. Multiple payment options also attempted. Customer Service reached out to, provided no help. Very pathetic website...
Zero customer service - came to lowes twice today to purchase a high end air conditioner- both times zero customer service. This store is an example of one that should shut down and go online. Horrific! I will take my money elsewhere.
Lowes.ca customer service is absolutely useless. Their people are obviously reading from a script and have NO relevant information to provide. Will never order from them again. Save yourself the trouble and walk into the store. The online ordering site is completely dysfunctional
I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service I experience today at 2:30 in the wire department, I noticed two employees in the flooring department and I asked if they could help me locate a skilled person re: wire so I could pick the correct wire and buy the correct amount! I heard them page someone but nobody showed up! Also, no open cash registers, was forced to use self serve!
When we went on the website we were informed that the washer dryer combo was in stock. But then we had to wait for over a month for the delivery. When we called lowe's to find out when our order was coming they kept hanging up on my wife. For customer service I give lowe's a big fat 0. I will never shop there again
I purchased light bulbs for my bathroom that wasn't compatible and I returned it through Purolator, with tracking which shows it's been returned to them for 3 weeks now. I have emailed them about my refund which has gone ignored. No refund, no product. They are a scam online. I don't recommend buying from them.
I went to purchase a swing glider last Saturday and was told that as a contractor I was entitled to a 5% discount. In order to save myself shipping fees I borrowed my friend's van. I went back to the store on Tuesday to get the item. I was told the 5 % discount was included in my bill of sale. When I checked my bill thoroughly I realized I never got the discount. I went to customer service and explained the issue to the manager Kevin O'Donald. Me. O'Donald gave me a hard time and in an arrogant way refused to honour store policy. I decided to return the item and promise myself to never shop there ever. No wonder most reviews are so bad. The good ones are probably all fake reviews.
We bought a patio door and had it installed by Lowe's installation. We were very impressed by how quick the install went, the guys were great. And my new patio door looks amazing. Thanks Lowe's installers!

Last week made attempt to purchase on line only product from lowes.ca-THE worst experience ever!
1.System limit on items that you can order!
2. Absolute nonsense with inventory- updated by vendor?!
3. No follow on status of order- have to find out yourself!
4. No providing tracking of order by carrier!
5. Order canceled and money still not returned to account!
All of the above is absolutely different at Rona, where I paced absolutely same order and RECIVED within 48 hours! What a service.
And one out 3 orders that canceled by rona- money returned within 24 hours of cancelation!
I will never ever buy on line from Lowes! Rona only-Very professional!
My wife and I went to the Etobicoke South location to browse paint and the service was invisible. Nobody was there to assist us and when I asked for help, they twice page the same person, but they didn't reply.
I would definitely not recommend this location.
Lowes did not price match with Home Depot even though I had pictures of the actual price tag from Home Depot. I decided to buy all my plywood at Lowes so it would all match because they are suppose to price match and I needed help loading my plywood. Wee they did not price match. Paid 12% more than Home Depot. But worse; at 67 years old I needed help loading. No help was available but when I went outside 2 Lowes employees where helping a YOUNG contractor load a few 2 X 4. If you want to pay more and have no help loading then use Lowes // final straw this review would not allow me to upload a photo
Last week my husband and I arrived at this store to buy some flooring and tiles for our home. No sales staff around so we rang a bell 'for help' and waited. An announcement was repeated several time for a store associate to come to that section. 20 minutes later one showed up but was also working with another customer and was therefore short and obviously harassed. We walked out, drove to Home Depot and ordered the products we were looking for. This morning I posted a question on the Lowes website re a bathroom vanity. I asked if it was in stock at the Hyde park, London Store quoting the reference number and the response I got was that the question was not clear. I have sent off another question asking which part they do NOT understand. Customer Service is downhill all the way for this company.
Ordered two items. One item arrived promptly from a store in Toronto where I live. After waiting two weeks for the second item I contacted customer service for an update. They told me it was coming from a store in BC. Twice now they have tried to contact the store's online service people and also the manager but they won't return their calls or emails. Now I can't get a response from customer service. Has been two months now, either that store doesn't exist anymore or they don't like shipping to Ontario
Lowe's deserves 0 stars if there was that option. I ordered a shed online and the order was cancelled shortly after. I called customer service to ask for the reason, and was told that my address was beyond the delivery zone from where the product is coming from (it's sold out in my home store). I didn't fight about this, but I asked for my 20% coupon back that I had used on the shed. And I was told "sorry it has already been used on the shed"... Yes, a shed that I will not be getting. So why can't I get the coupon back to use on different product? That beats me. No wonder they are closing more stores across Canada.
So I measured the pendant fixture in my small apt "dining room" find the exact glass globe shade I want, and apparently there is no way for Lowes to get me that shade, its on the site, I have money that I would like to give them for one, but it apparently can't be picked up here in store, and I can't have it shipped to me. (I live in a major city), the store doesn't have it in stock... so... uhm what more can I say than to hell with you Lowes I guess I'll stop wasting my time. 1 star all around.
Lowes Canada sold me a storm door and booked me for installation. 3 weeks later and several contacts with their "Installation Manager" who can not manage the installation company they retained, a guy came to take measurements of the opening. He could not tell me when the installation will take place and how much it will cost. Few days later the installer advised me that as I have an non standard opening ( false as the old door is standard) a special order is required with 8 weeks delay and at exuberant almost triple cost! Incompetence or swindle?
I went to seek the door I paid 3 weeks ago and it was not available!?! Had to argue hard and get my refund of the purchase. Four wasted weeks and I am back to square one!
I watched a video where this crazy Karen refused to let a Lowe's driver leave. You know what Lowe's did? They fired that driver for recording this Karen and are threatening to sue him because he posted the video on a public site. Wow okay so I am never shopping at Lowe's again, and you should too if you think kidnapping is wrong
I decided to give Lowes another chance since the Pandemic has... hopefully passed. Unfortunately nothing changes. Out of all my online purchases Lowes has to be the worst. Half the time the order is cancelled because the item is out of stock even though their web site for the specific store shows its in stock. I'll continue shopping at lowes in person, but never again online, they have the worst communication and honestly they should not be in the online business!
Don't buy anything from Lowe's unless it's a consumable product like cleaners, batteries or screws and nails. I bought a storm doors with the handle set. The handle broke after a year and their answer to replacing it was to contact Larson in the States to get part. They had one right there in the store, on display on a door and refused to sell it to me. Lowe's. You lost a customer.
Good luck ordering anything online from Lowes, at least in Canada. I ordered 3 things this week at all were supposedly available, in stock and available for pickup. Turns out, they had none of them and they just cancelled the order after charging me. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get an explanation only to be told their online inventory is inaccurate.
I was planning to spend some serious money on flooring when I went to pick up these items, but now I will never look at their website or set foot in one of their stores ever again as a result of ths experience and their total lack of customer service.
