I ordered a DVD, it came and did not play. I asked for a refund or replacement... still waiting. Don't order from them.

Well, this website (Lovingtheclassics.com) is good enough to make me cry. I have spent a lot of hours at stores and prior to the emergence of the websites dealing in classic Hollywood cinema, et al. But I found LovingtheClassics.com, the best place, by far, when it comes to getting the best of classic movies with great prints. That being said, it is painfully evident that the website has entered the arena a bit too late with some other well oiled websites being around for some time now; however, Lovingtheclassics.com is one of those websites that you just feel like they are doing what the others are doing a bit better. The procedures and rules around their service is a bit more rigid than I would have liked, but at the end of the day, they just provide better service (not to mention, better quality prints) than any similar service.

When you call the support staff, they will freely admit that it is a known problem and not try to make you feel like a complete idiot. For any kind of real classic movie lover, a look back into the glorious history of film should definitely start with LovingtheClassics.com.

I am not at all unhappy with this website. In fact, I expect to be using it more often for the reasons I highlighted in the above section. I will rate this website with '4 stars out of 5' meaning "it's pretty good" but I hope that it will be even more better than it already is. Keep up the good work guys.

I would give a 0 instead of a 1 if it was an option. I ordered from this site a month ago everything went well they took my money all $30 of it - for a rare movie they had listed (only 5 copies left so I thought I better move quick) the movie itself I knew was going to be a bootleg recording from a vhs as it's the only format it now exists in. It's rare so I thought it would be worth it. I never received any emails to confirm my order. It's just in a shipping queue where it has remained for 1 month now. I do get plenty of emails from them on their latest deals - so it's not like the website is inactive. I sent an email to them to follow up the order, again never heard a word.
I subsequently found the movie (bootleg as I mentioned) I was looking for uploaded to a website, downloaded it and burned it to my own dvd and it cost me all of $00.00...

Please PLEASE please do not buy from this website it's a total con and you'll also notice that any of their 5 star ratings are all posted on the same date... website needs shutting down.

This company takes your money and then doesn't send you your movies! You will end up waiting several weeks, they won't send you a confirmation email, they won't respond to your phone calls, they won't respond to your emails, you won't get your movies, and you will have to open a dispute with your credit card company, and probably have new cards issued. Definitely not worth the hassle for nothing. DON'T GET TEMPTED AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. JUST READ ALL OF THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY. ALSO THEY PAY PEOPLE TO WRITE GOOD REVIEWS FOR THEM ON THE INTERNET; here is the text of their offer email: "Hello, We are asking select customers to take some time to write a nice review for us on Reseller Ratings. This is a very good site for all those who love to watch classic Hollywood movies, anyone looking for classics will not have to look any further to get their copies as Loving the Classics has a great collection of movies in their inventory. What I like about the website is that I ordered a few classic Hollywood movies a few weeks ago, and one of them was kinda hard to find. But loving the classics can actually look for any movie if they do not already have it with them. This is great for people who are dying to watch some of the classic Hollywood movies but aren't able to find em.

All I want to say is the website Lovingtheclassics.com is one of the best sites I have come across, it has loads of classic movie titles on its list and comes at a very cheap price as compared to the other online websites. Another thing is that I received the package without any problems and in the given time too, which was just awesome. I will definitely recommend this website to all those movie buffs out there who want to enjoy the classics in crisp picture quality. With LovingtheClassics.com No issues at all, what's not to like?

I finally did receive the 3 DVDs I'd ordered. It took 13 weeks and a lot of correspondence. But then my credit card was debited a 2nd time for the same amount by the company calling themselves 'BEST CLASSICS'. I immediately requested a refund and after numerous emails over several months, I was finally promised one (by the same rep I'd dealt with at LTC). However, instead of receiving a refund, I was charged a 3rd time by the company now calling themselves 'HEATHER SMITH - BEST CLASSICS'. Needless to say, I cancelled my credit card. This is TOTALLY FRAUDULENT. Don't ever get involved with Loving The Classics. I've learnt the hard way.

I don't even want to get into all of the in's and outs and aggravation I dealt with working here. It's a memory that I have no desire to relive at this point. But the company is located in Pickering, Ohio, ships from a Westerville, Ohio Post-Office and is NOT located at 401 Mary Street in Jeannette PA. DO NOT send me any mail if you have a problem with this company. I cannot help you, I don't work there. I used to be a remote clerk with LTC but haven't worked there since April. Didn't notice my address on the website for awhile and all was quiet thinking that the point of my leaving was understood, suddenly I've started receiving returns and letters again and find my address back on the website. I was looking for a movie (Catlow) when I stumbled upon this website (www.LovingtheClassics.com). The website deals in the Hollywood Classics and has quite an impressive catalog. The nav bar is nice and easy. I really like the selection by genres which made the whole process easy. VERY NICE!

Its been a few weeks since I made a purchase from the site so I thought Id just write a few lines on it. So, I received the items I purchased within the given time period too. (something of a shock these days!). The print of the movies were also very good and crystal clear, something that I was having doubts in when ordering, reason is, I have made purchases of classic Hollywood movies over the internet in the past and was badly let down by the service quality and the picture, which did not at all live up to all those sites were boasting of.

I found Lovingtheclassics.com is much better. The website loaded quite fast too. Just one thing I would suggest is to reduce the size of the images on the home page. It just seems to be a bit too big. Overall I found the website lovingtheclassics.com to be good and trustworthy.

I am a big movie buff so I decided to get a few classics online. Because of my not-so-good experience of using some of the websites (like, classicflix and OOPflix) in the past to make a purchase, I thought I'd try another site, LovingtheClassics.com. I must say, unlike the other websites I have tried out in the past, the quality of my purchased items from LovingtheClassics.com has been uniformly high, and so has the delivery, which I am very happy with.
