Price is reasonable for my holiday but o could not travel due visa problem.They did not make it clear.I phoned Air line about having booking but they did not find the solution.Whilst I found the problem when I got to the Airport it was too late.
As I did not fly I contacted Loveholidays they said I am not eligible for any refund.Atleast they could have refunded my hotel booking money as a loyalty.
Love holiday review
Our hotel apartment in Crete was great, where it fell apart was as soon as you book you have to deal with all the third party companies, wizz air wanted £183 for one suite case or £150 for 2 10kg cabin bags return, the transfers were terrible, book this yourself not through love holidays, the driver to our hotel had no local knowledge or sat nav and got very lost, no pick up time was sent for return, we had to phone the company and was on hold for 30 minutes, the mini bus was then cancelled on the pick up day and we had to walk down the road and meet up with a coach instead.
Enough. The downfall started upon arriving at the airport to check in. The flight booking references provided by Love Holidays weren't valid on Ryanair's website meaning we couldn't check in online. This resulted in a £100 fee for two people to check in at the air port.
We were then very disappointed by the room provided at the hotel. This wasn't the hotel's fault but the photos and info provided when booking with Love Holidays was very false. The room was nothing like advertised - clearly a budget room, not what we had booked. Thankfully the hotel have us a new room after a few days of arrival but Love Holidays definitely let us down.
Reading these comments left me shocked. I'm booking holiday no. 3 with them and the previous 2 have been perfect, seamless. Maybe it's when something goes wrong as luckily Iv not experienced any problems. It won't put me off booking future trips that's for sure. 10/10.
I have to say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish for us. I see some bad reviews but I can honestly say we had the most amazing time and I found the company great. Regular emails and reminders and all the info we needed to make our trip smooth.
My sister, mum and myself went to Venice for a three day weekend break for mums birthday. We had a four star hotel right next to the Rialto bridge. Car parking at the airport, flight and transfer were all seamless! I have never booked a holiday like this as I usually do all the components separately but I have to say all the stress was taken away booking with love holidays and all for a brilliant price.
Maybe we were just lucky but I will definitely take my chances again! Thankfully I didn't need to get in touch with customer services or helplines because it all went perfectly so I can't comment on that side if things.

They have sold a Holiday at the Hotel Apartment les then one star for the price of 4 Star Hotel
And they are paying money to Pop Up just the 5 star Review the others reviews are hidden

Booked holidays for November a package holiday airline changed flights which meant out of 7 day holiday if we took what they wanted to give us we would have only got 5 half days we have to contact the airline to cancel even though it was a package holiday you can't talk to anyone only sandy the bot never never again no after care service
Absolutely disgusted with love holidays put in a complaint as when we arrived for a four star hotel I. Evita resort we were told there was no rooms and taken to evita elite which was like being in fawlty towers without the fun! Nothing like what we paid for and they have decided to shut down my complaint as no proof! They moved us to another hotel far inferior cold food miserable staff didn't clean the rooms no towels absolutely awful I will never use this company ever again the whole hotel was full of people that didn't book there from sister hotels that were overbooked the rooms air conditioning leaked down walls onto floor electric cables out in the bathroom so disappointed never again! The fire alarm was just a back piece! The rating of one star is only because there's no minus

Never again will I even consider using this company! Booked an late deal all-inclusive last Sunday, made an immediate payment and received an email to say that confirmation may take up to 72 hours. 84 hours later and heard nothing so I made contact with them only to be told that they would need an extra £1000 for the flight alone. We were due to go in 8 days! Thanks for leaving us high and dry
Nobody to talk to, only an online chat which is useless. Cancellation fee of £1800! Horrendous service from start to finish. Impossible to change the dates, still taking money out of my account for the wrong holiday. Disgusted. Will never book with this company (not sure if they're legit at this point) ever again!
This was an inexpensive, out of season break to Crete with Love Holidays.
Nothing was as described in the details. No pool, no hotel bar, no transport upon arrival... But, if you call Love Holidays, their response it that they can't help once your holiday has begun!

After close to 8 full months of calling them and being promised an investigation/ follow up, I finally called and refused to hang up until I received an email from the department who looks at cases. Guess what, they discovered I didn't cancel my trip and that I deserved a refund. How sweet. Only got about $850 back but I believe the other money was booking fees or extra spent for non-refundable flight fees. Didn't really feel like even updating to say they finally helped but maybe it'll give hope to someone else who feels like they got $1000 ripped out from under them and are still fighting the fight.
Let me recommend something, unless there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY for your trip to be cancelled or moved, I would not recommend going through lovactions. You'd think they would be more understanding sure to covid but that is a complete lie. They told me I would receive a refund if the trip was cancelled by an outside force i. E natural disaster/PANDEMIC. A couple of days before going out, my hotel in my foreign destination closed down DUE TO COVID. They knew it was cancelled and did not coordinate or communicate with my airlines to tell them I cannot take my flight because I HAVE NOWHERE TO FLY TO (assuming that when you use a 3rd party, they take care of the ins and outs for you). Now the airlines have $1200 of my money and lovacations blames me and refuses to give me money back for their incompetence.
Booked with these 13 months let down at the last minute upgrade to another hotel cost us an extra 130 euros for sea views like our previous hotel. Contacted 1 on chat then put through to another 1 Nicola tried to explain everything that went wrong with love holidays and she ended the chat. So I think people's comments bout love holidays being a scam company are right
Had a terrible experience when tried to change a date of travel, they certainly do NOT make it easy to contact them to discuss, payed way over the odds for same holiday that i could have booked myself. Brutal customer service. Never will use again. Would chose no stars of i could.
Beware that there is no customer service, you have no way of contacting them. There is no assistance.
I purchased a holiday to Turkey with my family, including flights (Corendon, which is not ideal), transfer, and hotel stay. The flight time was changed, which caused us to lose one day of the holiday. Also, they didn't arrange any changes in transfer time. Although I informed the transfer company, we arrived with no one waiting for us. Instead, I could have arranged all these separately myself, possibly cheaper.
On return, Corendon charged me 30 euros for check-in.
They said Loveholidays should have informed me that I should do online check-in, which they didn't.
Nightmare, the online customer service are not fit for purpose, a simple question and Ntebokeng the chat line operator gave stupid answers. When I asked to be put through to a manger they refused. When I asked how do I complain they cancelled chat. Called again Mark this time, much the same but this time with aggression and rudeness. Third time Natalia less aggressive but still refusing to help. Now I have no answer to the question and Loveholidays are blocking me from complaining or indeed contacting them to resolve the problem. Don't ruin your holiday book elsewhere.
Do not use Love Holidays!
We have had so many problems trying to resolve our concerns regarding our upcoming trip to New York. This booking was meant to be a celebration of a special occasion, and it's turning into a nightmare. Their complete lack of ownership and limited access to speak to an advisor now that the booking has been made is appalling.
I booked two holidays in October of 2022. Received confirmation for one but not the other. The one that I did receive the confirmation upon checking my booking there were only one room selected and no special request included. I've yet to receive the booking confirmation for one, despite it being over 3 months. The deposits and subsequent payment have been taken. However one day before departure I login to see cancelled, and that I in fact owe £80 for the holiday which I can no longer attend. I've been unable to reach anyone through live chat or over the phone for this entire period.
Do not use this company at any cost. The service and advice is so appalling and incorrect. Upon needing to cancel a holiday with them they advised that the full amount should be paid and then not to turn up thereafter claim from my travel insurer as a 'no show'. Travel insurance does not cover for such eventualities, most holiday companies provide a refund albeit with a cancellation charge. LH refuse to do so and having regard to the advice given it seems they still want the full amount, this appears to be somewhat fraudulent asking for money when the holiday is to be cancelled!
Loveholidays is by far the worst travel company I have used. Our flight was cancelled 2 weeks before our holiday and they were expecting us to pay an extra £1100 on top of a big balance we had just finished paying for. £1250 was spent on flights and they expected us to pay the £1100 on top of this which is absolutely disgusting considering, this was not our fault.
The customer service was appalling and all they kept offering us was more flights that ended up costing more.
We decided to get a refund for the whole holiday and book elsewhere. After spending 3 days trying to get in contact with someone, the response and time given was ridiculous and we did not feel like we were given a fair chance to save our holiday we had planned for a long time.
I will never be using their services again!
