LEFT STRANDED IN DUBLIN AIRPORT NO NO HELP AVAILABLE,THE APP WAS USELESS FAMILY HOLIDAY RUINED 2/7/2023. THEY STILL CANNOT RESOLVE IT.

Would give -10 stars if i could. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER! Transfer arrangements from airport to hotel were a no show even though it showed at the booking details. Also, they tell you to deal with it instead of them fixing the issue. Live chat never work, it just sucks. Please! DO NOT DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

Arrived at the airport and there was no one to direct us to our transfer shuttle as per the instructions received on the transfer voucher. Another travel agent kindly helped! The hotel we stayed at was not as described. We had an All inclusive package and we were told to pay extra for hot drinks. The hotel had no indoor pool, no tennis court and no bbq/grill facilities as they described. Coming back I made a complaint and Loveholidays was not supportive in retrieving a refund for us from the service provider. They did not answer any questions until 3 weeks later. Customer service was terrible. I have tried looking for the hotel on their website to review it but it seems to have disappeared. Our hotel was rated a 3* but it was more like a 1*. Infested with ants and cockroaches, no Wi-Fi, unhygienic and hazardous in many areas. People were allowed to smoke even there were no smoking signs. When I made the complaint Loveholidays passed messages between me and the provider but did not really help in anyway to mediate. Questions were repeated over and over as they did not answer them or neglected them. I had a few members from Loveholiday emailing me rather than one person dealing with my complaint and I think that confused them too as there seems to be no communication between them. They have no reps at the resort or the airport and even had to call the shuttle company to confirm time place etc even though it was booked in advance. Never experienced something like this before, just very difficult, stressful and time consuming. We loss all enjoyment of our holiday.

Absolutely disgusting what they put us through

In my point of view, the experience at the hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The initial excitement of a vacation was quickly overshadowed by the appalling conditions and complete lack of basic hygiene. It felt like a betrayal of trust; we expected a certain level of comfort and cleanliness when booking a hotel, especially an all-inclusive one.

The disappointment was not just in the physical state of the hotel but also in the attitude of the staff. Their friendliness upon arrival was a facade that quickly faded away when faced with legitimate complaints. It was disheartening to see that our concerns were met with indifference and, in some cases, outright ignorance. This lack of care for the guests' well-being was astounding and deeply upsetting.

The images I shared captured the essence of our ordeal. From the dirty glasses to the unclean plates and the overall filth, it was a clear indication of the hotel's disregard for basic sanitation. The fact that even the welcome champagne was served in dirty glasses speaks volumes about the hotel's lack of standards.

Leaving the hotel was not a decision made lightly. It was a last resort after our attempts to address the issues were met with a lack of action or concern. Seeking a refund was not just about the money; it was about the principle of receiving the service we paid for – a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, that was far from the reality we faced. This experience has certainly made me much more cautious about where I choose to stay in the future.

First our flight were not correct so they had to re-direct our flight to Phoenix, AR. Me and my wife spend the night in Phoenix not at our final destination. We lost our first night of the hotel in puerto vallarta. We had to pay for accommodations in phoenix. When We we returned to the USA we had to spend ànother night in Dallas, TX because the fights were wrong. I had ton pay for the Hotel, transportation, food and the inconvenience to stay at a unwanted location. This will be our last time booking thru lovevacations. We truly hated the lack of concern and customer service. You guys were quite misleading when you suggested that we can change our hotel. Terrible timing and impossible way to get at your customer service. The seats at the flight were the super cheap seats we had to boarded last group. Again I can see why you only had one chance to get people to make the mistake to book thru your company. Never again

Booked a holiday back in May 2022 for the following May 2023 because it seemed a good deal. Our mistake of booking so far in advance our circumstances have changed and want to amend the holiday to later in the year. Says do it online you can't unless you pay for a whole new holiday despite it says you can amend booking which to me means amend original booking not book a complete new holiday at another cost. Manage to speak to a call centre female who said she would help amend it. Took 40 minutes waiting to speak to a human then 50 minutes trying to explain to her what the changes were. She kept putting me on hold as I think we were a bit lost in translation. Almost sorted out after I had to give her new flight numbers and spell place names for her off of her own site. Then just before I thought the process was finally sorted at long last the phone her end got cut off. So now I've checked on my app and nothing has changed it's still got the original booking on there! I've spoken to the ombudsman and by the sound of it I'm not the first one to have reported them. Good luck people but I think you might find they get lost in translation.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They charged me £480 extra for a balcony that they didn't book with the hotel so they just pocketed it and refuse to give it back! Their customer service is all on email and they just dismiss you when they don't want to deal with you. Save your money book through ANYONE ELSE! The worst holiday company I have ever booked through absolute scammers!

A BIG NO to this agency! Do NOT CHOOSE LOVEHOLYDAYS
As we didn't have any option but to book the flights, hostel to at 8 PM to reach our destination, Costa Brava, Hostel Miranda, by 11 PM, once we arrived here, we were left outside with no one answering our calls! We had made a reservation and paid for it, with two young children, one aged 1 and another under 3, accompanying us. We called Love Holidays for two continuous hours, but no one answered. When someone finally picked up, a woman said she couldn't help us and that we should find a hotel on our own! Basically, we are stranded on the street with children!
It's 3:11 Am and still no one is answering!

Do not deal with Loveholidays.com! I had to cancel my booking for France due to the Belgian government. I was not allowed to travel due to COVID-19. I contacted Loveholidays and they told me I don't get a refund nor a voucher. When I asked to undo the cancel it wasn't possible and I had to rebook, again. They don't deserve a good review because all bookings are automated transactions. They show there true colors when there's a situation, like COVID-19 and they fail to solve it. This is how you see that there business is only for the money! So don't waste your time by booking at this site.
So, i followed the feedback of "Stuart" and got nowhere. No mail adres exist and via live chat I got 0 answer nor solution. I booked in the 1st COVID-19 situation with Zenhotels and they refunded me 100% whitout questions asked. If they can do it then Loveholidays should also be capable to provide this service

Awful, inept

Absolutely shocking. I added another passenger to my booking 2 weeks ago and they STILL haven't confirmed it. The chat feature isn't fit for purpose, they reply once a day with a copy and paste generic answer. I spoke to somebody on the phone who told me they are having issues with Ryanair's booking system and he has escalated my complaint. Still getting the same answers. I have threatened them with the press and still no further on.
Avoid this company like the plague, they are awful!
***Update***
FINALLY got this sorted, 3 weeks after my request to add a passenger. Constantly had to chase them. Ryanair confirmed the flight and check-in but Loveholidays couldn't find the details. For a week. I had to tell them how their business works between them and Ryanair.
Their amendment team is in India and they are woeful.
I have gone to the press about this shower of crap.
There are more reviews on Facebook sites and don't believe the Tripadvisor reviews that are obviously fake.
Be warned, do NOT book through them. I'm relatively lucky in that I haven't lost money but so many people have.

Terrible company.
Booked in full for my friends 40th.Two days later thdy rang prior to send8ng written confirmation to male ammenfmemts and look for more money.
They are terrible.Only on complaint could we secure our fligjts but it did not include our cabin luggage.
Vety poor customer service outcomes.This company is not to be trusted.

Shocking Service
July 13, 2023

Contacted love holiday's today regarding our booking. I got an agent who really didn't have a clue how to help me. Seemed Ryanair had blocked the booking due to them being 3rd party company all very confusing and concerning when they've already taken your money. We spent 1 hour and half going around in circles with the agent it did not get resolved we asked for a manager was told nobody was available in coaching apparently and nobody called back horrific service. In the end my partner managed to sort it himself after this phone call we still don't know how we did it asking for further information and verification but we could not access the flight online to be able to trying to explain this over and over was hard work. I tried to stay calm but my partner was absolutely furious. Especially when the agent said we would need to contact Ryanair ourselves we said this is a total joke you booked our holiday your the 3rd party travel agent it's all there going say and the cost to contact Ryanair is unbelievable plus there customer service is not the best either we just found ourselves going round and round in circles. She also must of put us on hold three or four times maybe even five. I am so disappointed with the service we received and will not be booking with them again.

IF ONLY I CAN RATE A ZERO STAR OR HALF A STAR I WILL. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR. THEIR WEBSITE IS A DISASTER. TRIED TO CHANGE THE DEBIT CARD BUT IT WASN'T SUCCESSFUL. SO I REACH OUT TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA CHAT, BUT SHE DIDN'T HELP ME AT ALL TO SET UP THE NEW DEBIT CARD. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. SHE LEAVES ME HOPELESS ABOUT MY CONCERN. SHE DIDN'T EVEN PROVIDE OR OFFER ANY OPTION TO DO IT. THIS WEBSITE IS REALLY A PAIN IN THE HEAD. WILL NOT AND NEVER BOOK A HOLIDAY ON THIS WEBSITE AND COMPANY AGAIN.

Do Not Book with Love Holidays
August 10, 2023

We are having a truly terrible experience with Love Holidays. We are staying at Club Resort Atlantis in Turkey.The resort is not 5 star as advertised. It is old and tired, the pools are small, there are not sufficient sun-loungers, the hotel is overrun with cats and kittens particularly in the restaurants and food is poor. The electricity in our room goes off several times during the day and night. There is an open fuse box in our room which sparks when you have to click the switch to get the electricity to come back on. Our toilet is broken and the water has been switched off. Despite booking a twin room for our teenage children (16 and 13), we were allocated a double room and our 13 year old son is therefore sleeping on the sofa. Despite writing to Love Holidays on the first day of our holiday and phoning each day since, Love Holidays have not responded to us to address our concerns. We only go on one holiday a year and are very upset and disappointed. We will be seeking a refund from Love Holidays when we return to the UK.

Book a holiday with them to Dominican Republic, they didn't add luggage, insurance and transfers to our booking.
When I found out, a month before the holiday, trying to contact them ( which is very hard), talk with them about our problem, the answer was: we have to pay extra for luggage, insurance and transfers!
Our holiday costs 6000 euros for a week.
In the end, we have to call Aer Lingus for the luggage, An Insurance company and find a way to go to the hotel.
HORRIBLE AGENCY! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Last minutes changes & poor customer support
August 24, 2023

Booked all inclusive trip to Turkey back in early July - took a few weeks to choose the right destination & right hotel. Then, with just over a week to departure, Loveholidays email to say the hotel has overbooked and we will have to find alternative accommodation. After a few days waiting/'chatting', they came up with one choice - a similar hotel but nowhere near a resort or the sea (first hotel chosen was close to both). I asked to cancel the whole package, to be told the flight was fixed and couldn't be changed. With only two days to go to departure day and no further support from Loveholidays, we had no choice, other than to accept the change of hotel. Unfortunately, the 5* hotel was average at best and 3 of our party were unwell from day 5 onwards (we suspect the food and upon return, our doctor is running tests). On top of this the transfers to & from the hotel/airport were appalling if not downright dangerous - too fast and on bad roads! I have since written to Loveholidays customer service and they have basically done nothing other than to say information will be passed on. I would avoid using this company - last minute changes, little support and poor customer service.

I am absolutely disgusted with company.
I noticed straight away after booking a holiday through this company that my surname was the same as my partners after checking this numerous times before proceeding with my booking.
As I noticed this straight away I went to mange my booking and changed this straight away after trying to contact the company numerous times yesterday I was unsuccessful!
Today my partner has managed to talk to someone on an online chat, there was no sympathy even though this is a mistake on their behalf.
We have been given a £752 bill to change my surname which is a charge that has been issued by the airline.
I have been in contact with the airline today and they have informed me that there is no charge to change a surname just that it will need to be verified as it more than 3 characters will need to be changed by the third party would have to do this for us.
After this causing unnecessary stress all day I have managed to speak with someone from the priority line which they said there's nothing they can do.
This is a massive scam given us a bill for a surname change that we should not have to pay.
I will be taking this further as I think it is completely disgusting and has ruined my experience!
