Word travel company ever...

Worst travel company I have ever come across... I have had a very dark and depressing few years, with a lot of family stresses including health being a real negative factor. With my mum. Fighting cancer, going through chemo and my dad battling diabetes, having both his legs chopped off. I booked a holiday in April with love holidays and in August they went and cancelled the whole holiday. I contacted them and said why did you do this? They said they are sorry and that I should use the website and book it again? I went online and I saw the holiday but it was £1200 more expensive and the luxury swim up room was no longer available. I had booked individually with my 5 of my friends and I was the instigater for the holiday but I got done bad. They said they can not do anything else for me. Not even offer me a discount. But then could book me a standard room in the hotel at a more expensive rate than I paid for the swim up.

I explained my concerns above and how the holiday is needed for my mental well being and it was ignored. I am gutted I have booked multiple holidays with them. I would never use them again even if I had to. I would not recommend them to anyone. Now I know that sometimes it's the individual who ruins a companies reputation but in this case its a collective experience from multiple agents that has ruined my whole year and sent me back to my dark days... I Hope they use this particular experience and better them selves. Its not nice feeling the way I am because of a company that's supposed to make you love holidays!

So i had found a holiday deal on their website where it said i can secure the booking by paying the deposit of £59 per person.

So i had paid this deposit per person to secure the price i had found for this holiday, however once i had paid the deposit the money was taken out of my account and i had received an email saying that the order is pending. Few hours later i get another email saying that they could not confirm the booking as the price of the flight has now changed and that i have to pay £80 extra for this.

So basically i was mislead by the information on their website as it stated that the price can be SECURED with the deposit but even after paying the deposit my price was not secure and i was then told i need to pay extra in order to secure my booking.

I had called love holidays and spoke to a customer support agent who then informed me that they are facing issues with the flight team, so because of their internal issues, me as a customer is now having to suffer for their incapability of running a business smoothly and i am having to face the charges for this.

This is really frustrating as the whole point of paying the deposit which i had done was to secure the booking price on their website. This information is clearly misleading as they just want to take your money and then charge you extra once you have paid the deposit which is what

A member of our party had an email about flight time changes and contacted loveholidays and had a refund of £182.35 for a party of 3.I did not receive the email I contacted loveholidays tru chat they changed my flight times and I mentioned the refund I got a answer NOTED 4 chats later still no partial refund you can not speak to a human it's chat only and its to easy to fob you off AVOID AVOID AVOID...

I haven't even gone on the holiday yet but already severely disappointed. I might even take this to my credit card company and travel ombudsman. Booked yesterday and thinking of cancelling. Booked Aska Lara (one of the more pricier holidays) and they advertised room is the double/twin. Photos shown are the ones in the main building. But after paying money, the hotel voucher states Anex room, which is across the street from the hotel! And from guest reviews and pictures, is quite a downgrade and is guest say smell of sewage! Its been impossible to get to customer service because their sales line does not deal with this and their customer service is a chat bot, where you will be placed for hold forever for online chat or get disconnected if you call. DO NOT BOOK WITH LOVEHOLIDAYS! You don't want to deal with this stress before even leaving on holiday! No where do they say that the room is in the Anex. I even called to book the holiday and they never make you understand that its not in the main building. Guests complain that rooms are very dirty and dogs barking. Smells terrible and far away from the actual resort! Again, no where on the actual booking page does it say that this is an Anex room you are booking! There are many other guests who have been duped by the same before unfortunately!

I would like to bring your attention to the absolute disgraceful service we received from your customer service agents.
My friend booked for 4 of us to go to New York on may 1st 2023...An absolute bucket list moment.

Sadly 4 weeks ago the mum and nan of the parties going became end of life with Pneumonia on top of Pulmonary Fibrosis.

As a family we have all been dragged through such an emotional rollercoaster after being told it wasn't looking good and to come and say our goodbyes at at least 3 occasions.
Sadly the decision was made that family members who were going would take over care.
We were unable to contact customer services by phone and could only deal with online.
Several times the situation was exlained and asked for alternative dates asked if others could take over holiday to no avail.
We asked if another named passenger could take over lead passenger name because as the time got nearer lead name could not deal with the stress. A representative told us this would cost an admin fee of £75 what a total disgrace. Another advisor said hope you mum feels better soon. Absolutely disgusting. The last representative told us that on no occasion had this unfortunate event been noted on this booking
I find this lack of customer service absolutely disgusting

Yes a refund of some of the money has been refunded but what awful customer service we have had.

Terrible customer service. Advertisement on booking site said NO resort fees which is why I booked the hotel through Love Vacations instead of Expedia (BIG MISTAKE) only to find out at check in it was buried in the fine print at arrival. NEVER again dont be fooled this is a ripoff. Brought it to their attention took forever to get through to someone and was told someone was going to get back to and guess what its been over a week and no one has called. Looks like im doing a chargeback for a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Love Vacations, Complete SCAM

Oveholidays is the most disgusting and unprofessional company ever. I would never use them again or recommend them. Myself and my two friends booked a city break to Milan with this company. We chose to pay in three instalments, which we paid in full before the trip. Up to two days before date of travel, we were receiving holiday reminders by email and confirmation emails of the trip. We got on our flights to Italy and then got to the hotel. Only to be told that Love holidays cancelled the booking 10am the day before with no phone call. We was left stranded in Italy with no accommodation and not knowing what to do. After multiple phone calls to the loveholidays emergency line with multiples team members who was giving us the run around. They said there was an issue with the first payment made of £87. Although, the other payments of over £1000 had already been taken. No one alerted us to this or got in touch. We begged for help and even offered to pay an extra £87 although we had already paid this when original booking was made. They said they cannot assist us further and then each call we made for more assistance they began putting us on hold or just hanging up on us. We had to pay to get an Airbnb and travel further into Italy just so we could have somewhere to stay. Love holidays are refusing to now refund the money for the hotel even though we did not cancel this booking. Absolutely disgusting. No wonder they are no longer registered with ATOL. Please AVOID this company and read through proper reviews about this scammer company.

Our return flights were cancelled from Spain by Rynair 1 hour before arranged transfer was due to collect us from hotel. We were then stranded in Spain for 5 more nights due to that being the earliest flight Rynnair could put us on.

We had an emergency (in resort number) provided to us by Love holidays but failed to answer until the next day. When I finally managed to speak to somebody the next day they accept no responsibility and therefore can't help with rescheduling transfers or even help with accommodation, although they took our money to arrange holiday and book flights, accommodation and transfers!

I was so so disappointed with service and would never use these again, far better booking own holiday and getting better insurance cover.

Just wanted everyone to understand that if your flights are cancelled whilst outside of the UK be prepared that love holidays are not interested and will NOT help with anything, basically you're on your own!

Luckily my parents paid and organised accommodation and transfers to get us home.

Anyone that recommends this company has more than likely not experienced any major problems whilst outside of the UK.

LoveHolidays.com booked our holiday flights, transfers and hotel. On the return journey, the transfer didn't arrive. We contacted them and eventually they said they weren't coming and to get a taxi ourselves.
We did so and missed the flight by 5 mins.
Tried to contact LoveHolidays but couldn't get through on their phone number. They do not publish an email address. They have an app that they insist you use, so I used it and the chatbot is the only thing available It then said I needed to speak to an agent, but there aren't any available as they only work 9-5pm UK time - even though they sell holidays I all time zones. The chatbot said to call the phone number - the one that doesn't connect... great
Eventually we arranged our own hotel and taxi whilst we waited to contact them and get help.
Attached are screenshots of the extended conversations between us and LoveHolidays office where they were outstanding in trying to catch me out, make it my fault and my problem, and to weasel out of their responsibilities any way they could.
When they couldn't get one over on me they closed the chat and told me to sort it out myself and claim on my travel insurance.

The purpose of this review is to show people what this company are REALLY like and to demonstrate that I do not believe they can be trusted. I recommend you avoid them at all costs

If I could zero stars I would. Booked a holiday through Loveholidays agent. Looked at hotel offering twin or double bedrooms. The agent via telephone assured me that I could get the double bedroom for £100 extra, so I booked as didn't want a twin. Turned up at the hotel and they only do twin rooms - they have never had double beds. I contacted Loveholidays the day I checked in to advise of the situation and ask for a refund of the difference in room price, because if I had known that they were all twins I wouldn't have paid extra. Their advertising is completely incorrect. I was told that they don't do refunds. I stated that I have paid for a service that doesn't exist. I asked for the complaints procedure or to speak to a manager. The agent denied my request saying the manager would tell me the same thing. Again I asked for the complaints procedure which she wouldn't give me - she just told me to contact the 'post holiday' team on my return. Which I did. They then denied the fact that I had contacted them during the holiday making my complaint invalid! I sent them screenshots of the conversation as proof which they ignored and never replied to me. Love Holidays falsely advertise accommodation, take extra money and then refuse to refund a service you didn't even get! Shocking. I will NEVER use again and advise against anyone else using this bunch of fraudsters either.

The worst holiday travel agents I had the "pleasure" to deal with. I cannot find my words to express how angry I am.
We booked a holiday back in August last year for May this year. For reasons out of our control we cannot go on holiday anymore this year, so I tried to see what can be done to cancel or change the dates for next year. On their website, on the manage my booking page you have the option to change the passengers. We have a couple that wanted to go instead of us so I contacted Loveholidays to do just that. After a week of long daily chats with the agents they finally managed to call me and the other couple to confirm that we want to do the swap.
When I thought that it's all done, I was told by the last agent I spoke with that I need to contact the airline company next to do the change with them as well, no one told us anything about that until then.
Surprise, the airline company Sun Express don't do passenger change…so when I called Love holidays agents again, they said sorry, but some airline companies don't' change passenger details.
I tried to change the dates next, but the airline company said they can only do this September, as they don't have the next year flights planned yet.
So the only thing left for me was to cancel the holiday…paid £1900 and should get a refund from Loveholiday of £71 and the tax from the Sunexpress of 217 euros
So I paid almost £1700 for nothing…

Scam company

My experience of my booking LOV*******U:
Booked flights, hotel, hotel transfer, car hire with them way back start of 2020 and when the flight got cancelled they disabled their phone lines and manage my booking failed to work. It appeared deliberate by them to avoid contact. I only got through to them weeks later by lying and saying I wanted to book a holiday. The agent despite have my booking code had all the wrong info and thought I had paid much more than I had, he incorrectly refunded me with wrong paperwork which ultimately came £75.50 short. Again love holidays turned off their phone lines etc and only had there Internet chat which didn't work. I only managed to contact them last month March 2021 and after getting push back over how much I had paid they finally conceded under threat of further action that they were due me a refund. I've still not got it but will hopefully gain it soon. AVOID THIS COMPANY they tried to scam me out of my money if I hadnt chased them they would have kept all my money. It's my opinion that all the 5 start reviews on multiple sites are fake as well. I don't know a single person who will ever trust them (they used to before COVID be good) please take my advise and do not use them do not trust them. If you have booked screenshot every conversation and save every email, as recently they have been sneakily altering contracts/T+Cs, but your rights are for what contract you booked under.

Do not use love holidays under any circumstance! You rather pay alittle more and go to a decent company.
I have had nothing but problems with love holidays! They ruined my whole holiday!
From the time of the booking to the point of the holiday I contacted love holiday atleast 100 odd times at which 50% of the calls were unsucesful (disconnected)
I was refused my basic right of logging a complaint on several occasions! I am currently in the process of contacting their regulators.
Booking information information was incorrect so could not locate booking on app
Spoke to multiple staff who all provided different and Incorrect information regarding the same question.
Had multiple issues with resort from the first day of the holiday and was basically told by the hotel contact love holidays its not there problem. When I contact love holidays I was told speak to the hotel and the concern team will call me to see what they can do.
I was promised on more than 3 occasions the concern team will reach out to me
The imaginary concern team never called or contacted me in anyway.
The transfer service never arrived and again love holidays was not available to help as it seems like they also have an imagery customer service number. Once you place a booking from a certain number you cannot contact love holidays from that number and the auto mated service is rubbish and frustrating.
Anyone considering to use these guys... look at the same deal on TRAVEL REPUBLIC or ON THE BEACH, you might have to pay like £20-£30 more but trust me for the stress and headache love holiday provided its a small price.

Scam / be careful
January 8, 2024

Booked holiday on the tuesday - no conformation until the saturday. Email dates were completely wrong - they had booked for 2 wks later. Obviously rang straight away, to be told manager will be in on the monday. Called monday to speak with manager to be told he will contact within in 72 hours.
We could not access online account, the help desk could not access it either (very convenient)
They are basically saying its my error, myself and partner booked it together there are only certain dates we can go due to work commitments.
Now going down the rd of cancellation, from what i have seen on other forums they will charge for the flights plus other fees.
Looking at the holiday we booked for those dates have jumped up £1000 (convenient)
I have seen on other forums this has happened with others, very good scam they have going on.

To anyone booking with this company please take screen shots of the dates you book with prrof of date you took the pic.

Im in a dispute with them, not holding my breath as other have had to go with the dates they didnt book or lose or be charged over the top fees.
