This store doesn't even worth a 1 star for a review! I bought a YSL Lou Lou Medium bag on Black Friday Sale with unreal discount and that was something I should be suspicious about! As it turns out, the bag is fake even though the quality is great and even a passport was provided! I ordered an authenticity certificate from third parties and went to a YSL store and both confirmed it's FAKE! Now customer service is not responding to any of my requests for a refund and say nothing about the fraud

This store doesn't even worth a 1 star for a review! I bought a YSL Lou Lou Medium bag on Black Friday Sale with unreal discount and that was something I should be suspicious about! Lord and Taylor online store doesn't fulfill orders but gladly takes your money. It's pathetic customer service systems is awful. They only have email and text messaging options. The "talk live" feature is disabled on their website. This company will not return messages and won't send you your merchandise. It's a scam. Don't fall for it!

I returned 2 items totalling over $3,100 on 12/21/23 and still do not have my refund. My order for 2 LV bags labeled "final sale" was mistakenly placed 11/19/23 (I hit "buy" instead of "apply coupon"). I notified them immediately of my error, then fought with them for 4 weeks to get a return slip. I returned the items on 12/21/23 and as of 1/13/24 do not have a refund! I've been emailing them because there is NO PHONE NUMBER to talk to a human.
STAY AWAY!

Tip for consumers:
It would’ve been helpful to know that they have no phone number for customer service and that incompetence, deceptive business practices, and possibly language barriers prevent me from getting the appropriate help and responses.

I ordered a cotton purple turtleneck from Lord and Taylor on 2/18/24, paying $25.98. On 2/20/24 I received a brown & white checkered button-up shirt, instead. When I contacted their Customer (non) Service I was instructed to send it back which cost me $17.94. I should receive an $8.04 refund. It would seem since their company made the mistake I should receive a full refund!

Tip for consumers:
That they make you pay for your return even if it was their mistake.

Receive use items from: wrong size, order six dresses, and receive only two no refund. These people are scammers. They have very poor customer service. You can only contact them online and they never responded.

I purchased a dress late December. I traveled majority of January then returned and got COVID and was sick for nearly two weeks. I went online to ask for an exception as I realized I had just missed the return window by 3 days. My initial attempt to contact them resulted in a response based on a different purchase that was a FINAL SALE item NOT the dress in question. Since then, I have attempted to contact them for several days now via every avenue given me, text, email and chat with absolutely no response whatsoever from them. FRUSTRATING! And ridiculous. The dressing questions quality was not at all what I would expect for $300! Very poor in fact, and the fit was what you would expect from a dress coming from China! Today I mailed the dress with a note inside on the packing slip letting them know I'm returning this dress! Never again! I will block and delete them from every avenue on my end once the return goes through. It's amazing how you can get inundated with all of their sale emails etc. yet they won't respond to any of my emails!

Prefer better customer service and ability to speak to a human

I returned two dresses value over $1'000 I have tried to contact them by email, text, chat no one is ever responded and they kept my money. I have written to the business bureau and still no response. Order *******

First of all I payed extra for fast shipping. It took two weeks just to mail my order. Then when the tracking said it should be delivered it wasn't. So I went to the post office to figure out what was going on. Turned out my shipping label only had my city and zip code. It did not have my name or street on it, so the post office sent it back. I checked my order to make sure I filled it out properly and I did. They made the mistake on the label. I've been trying to reach out to them for a refund on my order and on my shipping since they made the mistake. They do not have a phone number just an email. So far no one will return my emails. The customer service is awful! Seriously l, who mails a package without a full address!

Basically what the title says. My order never arrived. When I called USPS they said it got returned to the facility. Lord & Taylor told me the only way to get a refund was to return the product... which never arrived. After I asked for a number to speak with a live representative, they stopped responding to my emails. The only other two ways to contact them aside from email was live chat and text. If you click on the link for live chat, you will go to a link that has no way to communicate with them. If you try texting, you will not get a response back. Overall, a super negative experience.

Purchased 2 dresses online 7 months ago for $845- returned in perfect condition unworn and tagged within 2 weeks. STILL NO REFUND has been issued. Lord and Taylor is a SCAM COMPANY- be forewarned!

If I could give zero stars I would and judging by their low rating, I am not alone. I ordered a dress originally around Christmas when it was on sale. They took my money and never sent the dress. When I contacted them, they said the dress was not in stock and refunded my money. They never would have refunded if I did not call. I ordered it a 2nd time and this time it was not on sale. They did not send a tracking number but directed me to an app called Shop. This app provided fake shipping information and said the dress was delivered. I contacted them again and the dress was never in stock. I contacted my credit card company and let them know if was a fraudulent charge and I never received the dress. I just ordered the dress from Bloomindale's and was on the phone with the salesperson who assured me that 1. They had the dress and 2. It would be shipped out. I informed Lord & Taylor that I reported the fraudulent charge and would never shop on their site again. Of course, less than a minute later, I received an email from them offering 30% off, I sent it to Spam.

I ordered some clothing on Lord & Taylor website. I was trying to see if the coupon they sent me would work and when I clicked on "apply", the order was completed without applying coupon. I could find no way to cancel it. I tried to do "live chat" and after 40 minutes- still no response. This was around 3pm on a Monday. Also tried calling -no answer, texting-no response, and emailing- no response- ever from anything. Ordered the clothes on 1/15 and delivered 1/26. Luckily they all fit and are nice. I probably would have saved about $10 if coupon was applied

This store doesn't honor returns. They keep the product and you DON'T GET YOUR REFUND! I'm waiting for my $600 from a dress I returned over 1 month ago. It was tried on only and I returned it in better shape than I received it! I had it in my possession for 2 days! They still are holding onto my refund till it "passes inspection." DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! IN FACT ALL CONSUMERS NEED TO REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

YOU ARE A SCAM AND I WILL KEEP POSTING THESE UNTIL I GET MY REFUND!

I placed an order for some bedding and did receive a portion of what I had ordered. The problem is I have 2 twin flat sheets and pillowcases, but no bottom sheets. I received someone else's order I believe. I have tried contacting L&T via email and text to no response. I anyone out there received my order of 2 Sferra Pierina White twin fitted bottom sheets, I may have your order. I received an order of 4 Sferra Pierina Ivory standard shams, and 1 Sferra full/queen Lunar Amato coverlet. If you received mine, please leave a comment here.

I wanted to cancel the order after a minute had passed and make the purchase again because L&T had sent me a coupon and I did not add the coupon. They do not resolve by chat, they do not resolve by phone and they wrote to me after a month of me having written to them by email. I don't understand how long it takes to respond. Other stores help you immediately to solve any problem. I think I will not buy from L&T again.
Despite having let it be known via chat that I want to cancel the order, L&T sent me the order anyway. And if I wanted to return the order L&T would charge me for the return.

I will never buy from Lord and Taylor again. They have no phone number and will not listen to reason about an irregular item I purchased from them. It seems like this once great department store is on its last legs. Sad story!

I purchased 5 dresses in November, they charged me for all 5, only shipped 4 (one dress was never shipped). After receiving the 4 dresses and trying them on, none of them fit and immediately (the next day) returned them all in the original packing and in brand new condition. After not receiving a refund for over 30 days, I issued a dispute with the credit card company. After receiving a temporary credit from the credit card, I now find out that Lord and Taylor sent a letter to the credit card company LYING and saying that they only received 3 of the 4 dresses back. In turn, the credit card company rebilled me back, and I am out $500 since the credit card company closed the dispute and said its the merchants word against mine and they believe the merchant. Anyone have any advise or is this a dead end? So frustrating

Item was still listed as available on their website in the following time after I ordered it, it was listed as a sale item. I was given a run around about them finding the item to complete the order all the while it was still listed on the site still throughout the sale, it wasn't until the item went up in price that they decided to refund me and tell me to order again if I wanted the item but at the current price.

Avoid it , very unprofessional

I returned a $260 dress i got that had pulls and rips all over it in november, it is THE END of January and i still HAVE NOT gotten my refund. There is no number to call to talk to anyone and they have not answered any emails! This place needs to be shut down, no wonder its only an online store now. This is a scam STAY AWAY!

Lord and Taylor will not refund my $508.00 from July 2023! I keep getting bogus emails saying they are working on it and it will take 7 days. It's been over 4 months now. Where's my credit? Can not contact them...CROOKS! Do not order from them!

I ordered a dress for my mother to wear on my wedding day. The delivery was supposed to be a maximum of 7 business days. The order was December 29th. My wedding was January 14th and I went on my honeymoon the next day. Supposedly, the dress was delivered January 17th but I'm unable to verify. I dealt with their customer service who gave me the wrong delivery times then they stopped responding when I asked for a refund and information on how to return the dress. The person from their customer service that I dealt with was Har$#*!ha M. This was so stressful and I will never order from Lord & Taylor again. This was unacceptable.

I used to love Lord & Taylor but they have been horrible since they went online. The order before this one wasn't even processed because even though it showed as available online, they said they were sold out which wasn't so bad but this time, they just plain lost a long time customer.

Tip for consumers:
Horrible customer service and you can’t get refund even when it is their fault.

I placed an order for La Rochere glassware wine and tumblers, 4 sets in total, on 02/11 and a hair iron. All were on Final Sale. The Babybliss showed up but I am still awaiting the glassware. I first emailed them 2/18 *******@lordandtaylor.com after revisiting my account on their website sbd seeing the size-able portion of my order showed "unfulfilled ". There was no backorder, explanation, or reason for delay provided. After receiving no response to my first email, I emailed them again. Of course this was after reviewing CONTACT US on the website; and 1) trying to do a LIVE CHAT on 3 separate browsers and looked up URL is set to a dead-end location; and 2) I also sent TEXT to *******331, which also appears to be a dead-end.
I finally got a very unsatisfactory response of lip service about "we are facing higher than usual order volumes, which have led to some delays in our delivery process". No new expectations when my order would be shipped. No offer to credit the expedited delivery. Nothing to tell me supply chain issue, back-ordered, etc. I emailed a third time asking for these missing details and provided further lip service. The email responses signed from "CS Robert Nigel", which makes me further hesitant about the validity of this site and purchase. Any one else feeling might be a SCAM?
