They just dont care. I got the majority of my items after reporting them to BBB... still havent received my last two items and its March. They even stopped support on their *******@lootcrate.comsays its unmanned now so used online form; no response...
Ordered a 3-month subscription on a sale, all I got was 3 shirts, and a bunch of useless junk that I can assure no one would ever use. 2 of the boxes were severely damaged, 1 of them got wet from the rain, as it was left outside. Now as I had gotten it on a sale, it wasn't the biggest issue with the items. I figured "sure I got a bunch of crap, but it could have been worse" So I canceled it, a week before the next recurring payment, assuming that I would not be charged again, I had piece of mind. A week later, I get an 112.50 dollar charge on my PayPal account. I had insufficient funds, so the payment bounced. Now there is a 50 dollar NSF fee, and lootcrate is refusing to co-operate. Complete trash company, STAY AWAY!
I ordered the LOTR Trilogy sub in November of 2018. I've still not received the third and final crate. The first crate was shipped 6 months after I ordered, and quite late. The second shipped last summer, and the third is still yet to arrive. I will never ever order anything from Lootcrate again. Overpriced, poor quality. The bracelet they sent with the second box broke day 1. The ONLY decent thing I've received so far is the Mug from the first crate. Everything else is garbage. The Tshirts are of such poor quality, they start falling apart after the first wash. The images on the shirts are so poor, they are barely recognizable. Very disappointing.
Ordered a crate for my husband, took months longer than was advised on the site and when it finally did arrive only a slight fraction of what I paid for was in there. I asked for the rest of my items or a refund through their support but got the run around about their being a "long time for support replies" it's been literal months asking for a refund and I've sent at the very least 15 emails and they still won't get back to me. Now I'm out 100$ and my husband never did get his birthday presents. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ORDER FROM THEM.
I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered items on December 16th website said they would ship late December never heard anything, January 2nd I emailed about the items not shipping and was told they would be shipping late January. It's January 31st at 11:10 pm and nothing has been shipped. They are thief's and hid behind a non refundable policy.
Ordered the Deadpool crate 6 months ago (December), received it two days ago (June 5th)which sucks a massive one for a QUARTERLY crate. The contents were absolutely abysmal. £20 for that? A pin, socks that were too small and felt cheap, a can holder?, and a pair of sunglasses that belong on a kids magazine, and an apron that couldn't protect against a light gust of wind? Not to mention things in the box were just recycled from the previous theme, which was evident from the dust on majority of the contents.
Should be embarrassed to willingly send that out. If you were considering getting it, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, just go buy a couple of Pop! Figures or just anything better than that box of trash. Or just burn the relative currency, same difference.
First crate i bought was cuz it had a Cthulhu figure in it. The crate itself wasn't worth the price. I decided never to buy from them again but no I did sadly. My second crate I bought cuz of venom and ghost rider. Not worth the price. Had to wait a year for them to ship it.
I accidentally cancelled my subscription in May when I was trying to change my shirt size (which should be easier then it is. It took several emails to even get my shirt size changed) I was sent an email saying I had stopped my cancellation request. Never got my June box so I contacted them. I was told I was getting the June crate between June 28-July 12 so I waited still no June crate so I contacted again this time was told sorry it's July so no more June crate and I wasn't getting it. Even with screenshot proof of everything I just told you about. No offers for anything other then just sorry if I have any more questions contact customer service and my tickets were closed when I was still responding.

But to sum it up the worst part was the lack of consistency with shipping. The best part was the Cosmic Box items. (But mostly the Pins)
Tried a 3 months subscription, couldn't get the first lootcrate to arrive in 3 months. Still didn't get it. The second one arrived on time and the third one on the way for a month.
The customer support is unresponsive and just plainly bad.
Paying £9 a month I expect the t-shirt to at least fit me! Sometimes theyd fit perfectly but other times they were twice the size! I don't understand why they don't just get a contract with a decent tshirt manufacturer like guildan? I wonder how many customers theyve lost due to their going for the cheapest option? Greed. Shame as i liked the designs.
This was a Christmas gift for my son. His BFF get's his box on time each month, HOWEVER, my son doesn't or it takes weeks to get the box. No customer service number, only e-mails, they don't supply a correct tracking number. First the box has been sitting in CA, then it was delivered to CA (we live in WA)- then they say it has been sitting at OUR post office for 3 days (called -nothing). So today is May 19th and he has yet to get April's crate, he finally got March's at the end of April. I have NEVER had issues getting boxes delivered. Only with this company. Not even worth a star.
I bought a loot crate years ago that I never received and have been working with loot crate to send a replacement for TWO YEARS. They send you a link to a list of crates you can choose from for your replacement but then every time you pick one they say it's unavailable or they can't send you the one you chose. Horrible company, I would never suggest them to anyone.
I was on a LootCrate monthly plan and it was by far the worst monthly subscription from a company ever!
I'm currently 3 months behind on my monthly crates and they have given me no peace of mind nor have they given me an insight as to when i'm going to get the LootCrates.
I'm getting the Crates sent internationally so that means i have to wait an extra 10 days longer than everyone else but atleast they state that before you buy, but waiting over a month and a half for a box to be stuck in transit and then to be told that it could be another 4 weeks with no compensation is a waste of money. Think of all the money that you could save from LootCrate and get all the stuff you want somewhere else and not only get the stuff but much better service. There is little to no service and what service there is, its like talking to a brick wall.
Don't do it, its a waste of time, money and life.
I ordered it my box in December of 2021, expecting it in the beginning of January. Never got it. And month after month they said shipping is delayed. After 7 months of being delayed i asked for a refund. Its been 2 months and they just tell me they are too busy shipping boxes to get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY
I do not recommend this company. I have been charged 173.00 with no invoice! Unknown for what reason. I'm not the only one apparently! Pay close attention to these reviews and save your money!
Paid $120 and have yet to receive 1 item. It's been over 9 months. Tried to call, no answer. Did receive email saying items should be on the way by February. It is now May.
Ordered a few standard crates (about 1 year between April 2016 - June 2017) and those seemed to arrive ok. Items overall were decent apart from one box which appeared to just literally offer a HALO box.
Scrapped the main crate subscription in order to commence with the eagerly awaited Star Trek boxes, 6 boxes charged, only 2 delivered. Whilst I enjoyed the 2 delayed boxes, 2 boxes in just over 12 months with charges still being taken is not a professional.
1. Stop Offering the service if you have no hope of meeting the proposed deadline within 30 days (let alone months).
2. Stop offering add on/new subscriptions - it is clear you are falling as a business to respect any element of deadline towards your client base, so stop adding new boxes.
3. Stop charging for boxes that are simply not arriving.
4. Stop sending out standard emails stating there is a delay and it is being worked on. Own up to your responsibility and admit that this is the service we stupidly signed up for.
Business is a sound concept only in ripping you off your hard earned cash.
They are basically sitting on a large stash of payments and not actually sending anything out to justify it.
I would assume at some point they are going to close entirely and any funds taken, will needless to say not returning to their true owners,

I had bought 3 months and on my first month they didn't ship it when they should have also when I sent an email asking for them to look into it they said I didn't have a account we're not helpful at all didn't even seem like he was interested in helping just doing the bear minimum His job requires it's very frustrating I prob won't be getting any more crates after this and I've gotten a lot the past few years but to be treated that way unacceptable
I love my Lootcrate. It's like a monthly Christmas gift to myself. Thier email customer service team is spectacular. They answer right away. I had a rip in a lootwear socks this month, and sent a picture via email. They immediately sent out a new pair, and sent me the tracking info.
Lootcrate isn't for kids. It's for geeky older teens and adults. I love it, the tshirts are great. Sure, I might not like every franchise they use, but I have lots of geeky and nerdy friends who do, and so I can pass on anything I'm not fond of.
I bought a whole year, and I'm only three months in, and I couldn't be happier.
Answer: If you look at the good reviews, they are from 2014. This company has gone way down since then. Now they just take your money and never ship. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business soon.
Answer: What ever you do, go to your bank account close it, and reopen a new one in your name, that literally seems to be the only way for you to escape their stealing scams. Stay AWAY from them!
Answer: Just accept the loss. It will take weeks to even get a response forom customer service and you will end up with an excuse, expense of returning what you have and will either 1) get two more wrong items after several more weeks, 2) never receive the exchange items at all or 3) get a refund if they are threatened with a PayPal claim.
Answer: Do not buy them here. It takes over a month to receive anything. What you receive will be wrong. Customer service takes weeks to respond. Dissatisfied customers are always selling Crate items on eBay. Best it get them that way.
Answer: Don't order it! Other reviewers are saying that once you cancel it auto renews automatically. Cancelling subscriptions seems to be next to impossible!
