I basically signed up for Dr. Who stuff... They offered a Dr. Who Crate and sold out very quickly before I had a chance to order.

So they have as many Star Wars and other crates as they can sell (They have been offered for over a month) but the one I want is limited "For Exclusivity"

So if they cant get me what i want, I am getting a box of junk (and getting worse by the month) I have no use. I am stuck for another 6 months but have already cancelled so I wont be automatically charged again.

Do yourself a favor and save the money and buy yourself something you really want, not some stupid plastic TMNT shredder glasses...

Since I've seemingly been lucky enough not to have horrible service to the point of seeking out a review site such as this, it says a lot that I'm actually going to the trouble to throw out this 1-Star review. I must point out things beyond the common "Subscribed and only received 1 crate then nothing thereafter." reviews which, to me, sits on the verge of being criminal. Loot Crate spams out emails on a regular basis introducing new crate themes along with the rather regular "Shipping Update... Sorry to report that your crate will be delayed" which, over time, is absolutely infuriating. And every apology email contains an offer to get $10 off your next order. What? So you end up even deeper in their web of incompetence to deliver their products on time, if at all? And who are these shills rating over 2 stars in the sidebar of this website? Do they have special connections? Do they receive special deliveries outside of what is more than likely bulk mailings the rest of us get? This site also requests signing up to stop fake reviews? That's interesting. If, on the other hand, this site would bump up the bulk of 1 star reviews, that would more accurately reflect the truth of the matter with Loot Crate.

Incompetent thieves

When your package doesn't ship on time and you ask for an update.

When a week goes by and you still receive neither a package nor a shipping notice nor an update and ask again.

When another week passes without news or product and you ask again and still get $#*! all.

When another week expires sans what you paid for and you cut your losses and eliminate this scam from your life.

$#*! these incompetent thieves. If I hadn't nagged them every week for nearly a month, they would've taken my money and given me nothing without a word. I try to be understanding about delays. They happen. However, when a package is absurdly late without a single word of explanation or apology, I interpret complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

I subcribed for just a one month crate which rolls over each month unless you physically stop it, why have a one month option if it is just gonna roll over anyway. I started back in February(this is being written on 5-15-2017) for March's primal/wolverine crate got it midway thru march then they took two more payments and they have no phone number to call them on only a bull$#*! fake email system. I already reported them to the BBB we need more people to do the same

Don't Subscribe

Company will not let you cancel subscriptions. There is no way to cancel on their website and the only way to contact them is by email. When you try to cancel they tell you they are experiencing high volume and will get to as quickly as possible, but if you ask them any other question not related to cancelations they will get back to you immediately.
I would recommend you avoid this company at all cost as it is a scam, any company that will not refund or cancel services is by definition a crooked company.

Ordered the Lord of the rings 3 box set. It was supposed to ship in March, then in May, now we were supposed to have shipping by June 16th, its June 17th... No shipping. I've also order Loot Vault items and still have not recieved shipping!

I ordered the Junji Ito crates #1 and #3 last year, first one was in July 2021 and #3 was in November 2021, emailed the company multiple times to be told that the shipping dates are being delayed and to refer myself to their shipping delays page on their website. I asked for refunds because at this point it had been 11 months since my first purchase and came to terms that I would never see my crates. Logged into my lootcrate account today to see my purchase history to see this message on both of the items I purchased: "This order was cancelled on June 03,2022 01:35PM. Reason: other" and yet I have 0 trace of refunds anywhere. What the actual $#*!? They take their customers as a joke and it's actually $#*!ing sad and beyond frustrating to see. I wrote them a strongly opinionated email and hopefully this gets things moving because I am beyond pissed that my orders were canceled yet they are paid and not refunded. Actual joke of a company.

Had numerous issues with the firefly crates and quality is going down hill.
Crates all delayed.
1 crate never turned up and they said id cancelled which i hadnt.
Some responses from customer services were obvious cut and pastes as the dates they said late crates would arrive had already also expired!
Then asked to specifically cancel a crate after a certain date, which they agreed to, then cancelled straight away.
Reactivated to get that crate and cancelled as soon as they took payment.
Guess what - the crate hasnt turned up and my subscription has not cancelled yet.

As for their loot vault service, the voucher i eventually got didnt work, and their support took so long to come back the item sold out.
And what i did buy from them took about three months to be sent out (for an in stock item) and that was only after i chased several times.

All ive got is "sorry for the inconvenience caused"

I would warn you not to waste your money. The boxes are over priced and not worth it. And to make matters worse the customer service is terrible! I canceled my subscription and it renewed after it was canceled. They refuse to refund my money. It is difficult to get in touch with customer service and when you get a response they just try to offer you a discount or a free box. I just want my money back! And no more loot crates!

I liked my first loot crate ( September), I skipped October because I'm not a horror fan, For my November crate I was very excited for but... It arrived Dec. 18th which is about 22 days late. The website said crates ship Nov 22... it didn't ship until Dec 14th and was postponed 2 - 3 times). I get my crate and the box is damaged on the outside... There's a note in the box saying that one of the items is arriving even later this month... ( when? Its frickin' Christmas! And its a November crate...), They put a gift card for a monthly food subscription place ( I read the details and you would get stuck in a different subscription plan... It's not even related to a loot crate at all!), and luckily a decent iron man figure and batman umbrella. I would be a lot more mad if i didn't get those 2 items ( but probably $30 dollar value and I paid $50).

Loot crate has become a scam. They don't send products. If you ask for a refund they say they are escalating and will never respond to you after. If you dont get your stuff after a month call you credit card company. Lootcrate will not respond to you un till 3 month after you have purchased the product so you credit card company cant do anything.

In the October 2015 box was a Bill and Ted shirt, which was cool, albeit the coolest thing in the box. It was labeled as a men's large, which is my preference. However, the shirt fits like a small and when held up to a large shirt, is in fact a men's small (in comparison). Loot crate has told me that I chose the wrong shirt size and that was my fault. They want me to pay return shipping to get the proper size shirt. What!?! A men's large is my proper size shirt, how in the world would I know my shirt size if in your eyes a men's large is actually a small. They have yet to resolve my issue and refuse to accept any wrong in sending me a mislabeled item.

Shipping sucks

I ordered something on the Loot Vault on March 18th, and it hasn't even shipped yet and it is April 14th. I emailed them and they said it would take 2-3 weeks to ship. I emailed them again after approximately two weeks and they told me to email them a week later for shipping information. I did as they asked, and in response received an email saying my order hasn't shipped and it would take 1-4 weeks to ship from the order date.

UPDATE: Not only did my packages arrive very late, I was also denied an item because it went out of stock suddenly. Very disappointed.

Loot crate is a ripoff
January 21, 2019

I ordered what was advertised as a dnd crate in November in cyber Monday, I never received a tracking number even though I sent messages. I only received my tracking number the day I received the crate and it was late.
In fact my crate was missing an item and was promised if I bought the next months box I would receive it. The only dnd thing I got looked like game of thrones, and the figure that came with the box doesn't even fit in the stand it came with and looks warped.
I contacted support and asked them if there was some kind of mistake with my box and they told me if I don't like it I can't get a refund.

The only reason I signed up for loot gaming was for the god of war crate, since I signed up I got really crappy stuff that I ended up giving away. I also got damaged and alot of late stuff. Save your money and the excitement it's totally not worth it.

The hole service was bad. The crate was very late and the customer service was horrible. The items in the crate was garbage. I like the franchises of the items. But the items were pure garbage. A small size calendar and a $#*!ty ice cream scoop? Come on. And the digital "epic" item is only available in the U.S. I don't know if they had budgets cuts but last time I got a crate it was way better. I will not recommend this to anyone and I will never buy another lootcrate.

Yes, you read that correctly. I paid for a 6 month subscription which should mean after 6 months I should have 6 crates! But NOT with this company! I have received 1. Yes only 1 crate over the past 6 months Technically, I am on my 7th month now with only 1 crate in my posession. SCAM? HORRIBLY COMPANY? The descriptive words for this company go on and on. I would sue them for horrible service if there was such a thing!
