The format was quite easy to work with. The only issue I had was after spending a couple hours creating my first resume, all the information was erased! Very discouraging and irritating. Also pricing was not made clear upfront.

Joe, the customer service representative really made my day. After the trial period i was charged two months even though i didn't use their services.
There is no any email or any information regarding the charges every month. I just randomly checked my credit card and found out that i was charged.
Customer service is horrible. They said it is how they work. They said they don't have the policy of refund once paid.

Quick and easy to use. Docked two starts because I was not able to login to my account to complete my resume for about a week. I had actually given up but came back for one last check. Glad I did! The whole process is so easy to use and it take the headache out of finding the right format and template. Would defiantly recommend.

This site claims to be cheap while charging you extra in the small print. On top of that the unsubscribe button hasn't worked 3/4 times I've clicked it causing me to be charged an extra £36 on top of the cheap £0.99 I paid for a cv. What a scummy company who should be ashamed of their anti consumer practices.

The helpful tabs when building my resume were great, but I had a difficult time trying to cancel my service. I sent a message regarding by subscription but never received a response. $40 is an awful lot to spend per month... I AM looking for a job, after all!

I started a trial with Livecareer, which was not a problem. However, after finding out that my company is going to give me help with job relocation, I decided to quit before the trial was done and sent an e-mail to them through their website. I did not get a confirmation e-mail. MAKE SURE YOU DO! I left for vacation immediately after and did not notice until I got my statement this week I have been charged 2 months dues even though I haven't used the site. If there is no confirmation the automatic payment kicks in. Be forewarned.

Same as the first. Singed up for 7 day trial. I used it for a day to print a resume. Was charged multiple times, including the 35 dollar charge, making me overdraft. I sent an email to the email they provide for help and have yet to see any response, just sent a second and maybe they will reply. As of now though, don't get ripped off!

I spent quite a bit of time building a resume on this website and didn't figure out until after I was done that in order to print it or download it I would have to sign up for one of the subscription plans. They advertise themselves as a free resume building site and it doesn't say anywhere that you need to pay to print or download your resume - to me that is a classic bait and switch. When I did look into the subscription options, it says that I will be automatically billed after the initial period. I have been sucked into those plans before and it is always almost impossible to cancel once they have your credit card in their hands. Besides which, it is never easy to cancel a subscription once you have signed up. So, in short, this website was a complete waste of my time and effort. No thanks - I will not be giving you my credit card number to have on file.

I used the "introductory offer for a 7 day trial to format an old resume. Once the resume was changed, I called and cancelled the subscription just like the fine print directed. 7 days after the 1st charge of 4.95 was taken out, 2 additional charges of 34.95 were automatically taken from my account. So a total of 74.85 has been taken out of my account to date so far for this account that was cancelled hours after I used it. BUYER BEWARE!

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
