Scam Website

Stay away! This website is pure scam, They are purposely scamming people with trash defective items. They sold a shoe rack that came in paper thin wood and the pictures looked nothing like the product for $220. They will cycle through products so new buyers will end up getting ripped off, stay away from this site. Don't buy anything at all

AVOID LITFAD AT ALL COSTS
November 12, 2025

I have purchased a cabinet from Litfad 06/07, received it only on 07/22 with 80% of parts damaged (scratched, dented, broken, etc) – and it was not damage caused by transportation – many parts were obviously damaged and painted on, to somewhat mask the damage. The cabinet came with no assembly manual, parts not marked nor numbered. Litfad took forever trying "to resolve" the issue by offering 5% refund if I keep the product the way it is or replacing broken parts. But in order to replace them the damaged parts, they requested to identify which ones where damaged – I sent around 450 photos (up-close damage and the whole part one by one), but they still couldn't figure it out. They emailed me assembly manual for "something like my cabinet" and asked to circle the damaged parts, but since received parts were not numbered, I was not sure. They requested me to hire the assemble person to put the cabinet together and figure out which parts exactly were damaged. Since it would cost money and would take time, I refused. After few week back-and -forth communication they finally agreed to send the replacement on 08/13. I have received replacement 10/21 and it came again damaged, parts not marked, no clear instructions for particular cabinet. I still agreed to keep it, have the damaged parts cosmetically repaired with local companies and get 20% discount just to be done with all this frustrating situation. I have hired professional assembly company and after spending almost 2 hours they confirmed, that it is impossible to assemble it because there are a lot of missing parts. I have contacted Litfad and asked to take their item back and issue me full refund. After another few weeks I still do not have neither my money back nor the cabinet, as the best they can offer is 20% discount (meaning that I lose over $1,200 and can keep a pile of damaged random pile of wood pieces), or I should arrange the return of the item and cover all the shipping cost (which is totally their responsibility and I did nothing to cause the necessity to return the product should it came in good condition) or I should have purchased the insurance to get the refund (meaning that I was supposed to pay extra to make sure they do not send damaged and incomplete product!). They keep repeating that "they have no authority to issue any higher refund". I am beyond frustrated, as I lost more than 5 months, almost $1,500 + extra $200 for 2 deliveries tips, also paying assembly company to try to put the cabinet together, not counting how much time and nerves i wasted dealing with Litfad. They also offered me to send another replacement or pick another item from their website, to lose another couple months probably just to get the same result. This is by far my worst experience and I am beyond disgusted with their business practice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I purchased a rotatable bookshelf. It looked nothing like a picture of the classy item on their website. I paid over $200 (including shipping) for the product that might fit into a poorly equipped workshop, at best. And they make a return impossible since shipping this item back to China is prohibitively expensive.

IF I COULD RATE THEM BELOW 1 STAR I WOULD HAVE. THE QUALITY VS HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. THEIR PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. THIS CHINESE BASED COMPANY MAKE VERY CHEAP QUALITY MERCHANDISE. THEY SHOULD BE BANNED IN THE US. I THOUGHT IKEA MAKES THE WORST PRODUCTS BUT THIS COMPANY IS FAR BEYOND LOW QUALITY AND CHEAP MERCHANDISE. THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT I RECEIVED FROM THEIR TEXT PERSON WAS ABSOLUTELY NONE MAKING ANY SENSE. ITS ALMOST 2 AM HERE AND I STILL HAVEN'T FINISHED THE DOORS. I PICKED UP THE CABINET TO STAND IT UP AND GET THE DOORS SET UP. I GOT SCARED. ITS CROOKED. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE $1000 WENT DOWN THE DRAIN BY PURCHASING THIS CHINESE GARBAGE. THEIR NAME DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE.

This compnay is a SCAM

This company is a complete scam. The table I received looked nothing like the product advertised online—it was thin, the curved edge shown in the photos was missing, and the color was completely wrong. On top of that, I never received the second part of the package, and delivery was well past the promised timeframe despite paying for expedited shipping. They falsely advertise products and refuse to deliver what they promise. I have sent over thirty emails requesting a refund, yet they have still not returned my money. Instead, they tried to offer coupons, promotions, or partial refunds—none of which I asked for. I demand a full refund of the purchase price, including courier costs. Avoid this company at all costs—they are total scammers.

Bait and switch
August 12, 2025

I ordered an expensive modernist classic chair and was sent a cheap chair that wasn't even the same shape and color of what was on the web site. When I indicated it was not the same chair, they said it met their quality inspection so too bad. It was a classic bait and switch. What you see is not what you get.

Litfad Beware!

Litfad shipped a barely packaged vanity that arrived busted in a million pieces. They will not refund your money unless you ship the item back at your own expense via a PayPal dispute which is more than you paid for the item. Do not buy from this company.

Ordered a table from LITFAD that was shipped in two packages. After a long wait, the table bottom arrived with a large dent. The table top never arrived. After being told to "be patient" one too many times, filed a dispute with the credit company. LITFAD told the credit card company that everything had arrived and was in good condition. The is quite ironic, since the last message from LITFAD was that we had received a full refund. Stay away from this company.

Damaged chair with no repair

On January 5,2025 I purchased two armchairs from Litfad (www.litfad.com). They both arrived on or around March 1,2024. One of them was in good condition but the other was broken. I immediately emailed Litfad that one chair is broken. On March 2,2024 Litfad sent me an email that they would replace the broken chair. On March 5,2024, they told me to dispose of the broken chair as they would not be picking it up or repairing. On May 12,2024 they sent me and email that they did not send a replacement because they needed me to confirm the address. I confirmed the address again. On May 13, they went back on their word and said they will issue a new fabric and I should find a local craftsman to repair. I replied that I already tried this and they already told me to dispose of the chair and I do not have in my possession anymore. I again reached out on July 14,2025 since there was no reply and again they told me to find a local craftsman. This company has a responsibility to its customers to deliver the products they purchase. The first told me they would replace, then made excuses about replacing such as not knowing the address and ultimately went back on their word and told me to find a local repairman. This is all AFTER they told me to dispose their damaged chair!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered the Auburn Casual Wood Wardrobe Closet, and despite multiple full-day attempts and help from a professional assistant, it was impossible to assemble. The item arrived in nailed crates with no proper instructions or parts list. The few instructions I received later were blurry images without labels. None of the parts aligned as intended, and no one at Litfad could provide the necessary information to make it work. I ultimately had to discard the entire unit. Buyer beware — this product - and company - are a disaster.

I bought two items - a light fixture and table and chairs at the beginning of January. It said 5-10 business days to arrive. The light fixture arrived in March. Dubious quality and not worth the money I paid, but OK. The table and chairs arrived in JULY. Awful cheap quality, scuffed. Customer service were unhelpful and would not offer even a partial refund. I would never buy from Litfad again.

JUST DONT! SCAM

Scam scam scam - 3 months for a box (opened) of broken rubbish to arrive. I wished I could give it zero. Basically scammed out of a few hundred quid. I ordered a small side board OVER 3 MONTHS ago and it finally arrived. PLEASE read their terms before ordering. This was a heavy piece ( well about 100 pieces) of furniture. You will be liable for the cost to return it to China - and still won't be refunded the cost of the item. The website looks all shiny and fancy and what I received was a pile of c**p in an opened torn box. After reporting it as soon as it arrived ( I couldn't reject it as they would keep 60% of the value of the item) their customer service was zero. Awful company. Do not waste your money and don't be conned into buying absolute rubbish.
BE WARNED. It's ALL shipped from China therefore you have NO rights under UK consumer law. I took legal advice and you can sue them, which is very very costly, and you will not be able to enforce the UK court judgment anyway.

Wine Cabinet

I recently purchased a wine cabinet, this product was a major disappointment due to its shoddy construction and poor design.
The cabinet arrived with several issues. The wood was cheaply made, with visible cracks and uneven finishes that looked nothing like the polished images advertised.
The pieces of the cabinet are different colors of gray and do not fit together properly.
The shelves were flimsy and wobbled under the weight of just a few bottles, making me question their safety for storing my wine collection.
The handles are not the same handles in the photos.
This experience felt like a textbook case of deceptive advertising, designed to mislead customers into buying inferior products.
I strongly advise others to avoid Litfad.

Bought a chair for$387. Nothing as ordered online. Arrived broken, damaged and dirty. Took the loss because Paypal allowed this fraudulent company to have me rewritten this to China, and pay for the return cost! They're counting that few people will go to that effort, so they continue to steal your money! Lesson learned! Photos won't upload. Shame.

Outdoor Wood Bench

Purchased a wood bench for a steam shower from this company and received a wood bench instead. Customer service indicates, in their words, this is a slight difference and is a "minor discrepancy within industry-accepted tolerances and it does not affect the product's overall functionality." Wood vs. aluminum is not a slight difference. Aluminum can't be used as a bench in a steam period. First they started with a 5% refund now after 10 emails back and forth with me stating I want my money back they've increased to a 15% discount on another item. LAUGHABLE! I would never purchase ANYTHING from this scam of a company. Since making my claim, they have changed the listing to indicate the product material as metal. Hardly seems to align with their argument of providing me a refund. I wish I had looked up the company to see the reviews before purchasing. Maybe this will save someone else the trouble. Look elsewhere…this company should not be allowed to do business in this country.

I ordered a end table and it was hipped with FEDEX. Upon receiving the table and it was still wrapped we noticed quite significant damage. I took pictures and notified them immediately. There are no phone numbers etc. and you are stuck with their email service. They take about 3 to 4 days to respond. Getting the run around. I sent the email with the order number. 3 days later we get an email they need the order number. Get past that and now they say when they shipped it it was not damaged. They are offering me a 5% discount on the order, but it is seriously damaged and has no value. There is no way to work it out with them, so I have contacted my credit card company for assistance. Guys this is not where you want to shop! They are dishonest!

I ordered a buffet cabinet from Litfad and had one of the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had. After waiting nearly two months for the item to arrive, it showed up completely damaged—the ceramic top was shattered, and most of the parts had cracked or broken corners. The quality was nothing like what was shown on their website. I contacted customer service immediately, sent photos, and requested a full refund. Their response? They offered to resend the item and give me a 5% refund for a product that was totally unusable. When I asked how they could guarantee the replacement would be any better, I received no clear answer. Their lack of professionalism, slow response time, and unwillingness to take accountability are unacceptable. I've since started the process of filing a chargeback and plan to report them to the FTC, BBB, and the New York Attorney General's Office. Avoid this company at all costs—they sell low-quality products, misrepresent them online, and offer terrible customer service. It's simply not worth the risk.

I placed an order for a bench with Litfad.CO.UK in February for products which I understood to be in the UK. The item arrived 2 ½ months later. Multiple enquiries with company told me only that the order was in transit.
The DPD driver who finally delivered the parcel said that it had been standing at their depot for many weeks because it was considered to be too dangerously packaged to handle with nails and screws protruding from wafer thin plywood. It also had a hole in it as big as a fist. It stood in the depot for so long that someone put a return label on it. Finally one driver decided to take it on.
On delivery, the „crate" was immediately broken up and disposed of because it was was actually a very nasty thing. When I complained to the firm, Litfad insisted on photographs of all six sides of packaging. I wanted then to return this, shoddily packed item back to Litfad.co.uk and obtain a refund. Litfad insisted that I could either have 15% of my money back (without returning the bench) OR have my money back in full but only if I would undertake the full costs of crating, shipping and customs expences of posting it back to their goods depot NOT BASED IN the UK, but in CHINA. I had paid for the item via Paypal with customer protection, however this did nothing to protect me. Paypal, who only calculated postage costs of returning to inland UK rather than China, ruled in Litfad's favour. I question the legality of this. How can it be allowed under trading standards that this company can trade as though it were based in Britain under a co.uk address and be allowed to place the financial burden of returning unreasonably late, badly packaged or faulty goods at the door of their customers? I advise potential Litfad customers to buy elsewhere and stay well clear of this company. And I may add: Shame on Paypal for not protecting their customers from scam operations like these.

My order was supposed to arrive. However I tried to ask the costumer service why it hasn't arrived yet, why its been about 10 days from costum clearance and it still showing in transit, they stopped responding on a chat! There is no other way of contacting them and my order about $3,500. They ask me to wait patiently and than stopped responding when questions asked! Very disrespectful
