If you have any other company available to fill your needs, AVOID Lincare if at all possible. I have been attempting to return my equipment for over one month and I still have the equipment and Medicare has not authorized it any more due to physician orders, and I don't want to pay another $700. For the rental to Medicare. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. You know the customer service is horrible by looking at the reviews, and Lincare still has not rectified their problem.
I am a new customer and received a phone call that my machine was in and to call back for an appt. I have been leaving a message for the last three days and not response. It's a joke that LinCare communicates their 25 hour turnaround. What a lie! And after reading several reviews, I will be taking my service elsewhere!
Very poor service, unreliable deliveries and matinance less than desirable. Deliveries left outside for 88 year old terminal cancer patient. Five phone calls fell on unconcerned ears. I wouldn't recommend Lincare to anyone ever. Very disappointed.
Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. Billing errors, vague charges, overcharges, no explainations. Almost impossible to contact customer service to get problems resolved. If or when your do get through you are directed somewhere else or are promised solutions they never fulfill. Lies, deception, awful record keeping. Be advised. When dealing with these people keep detailed notes on who you're talking to, the date and time, number you called, how long you had to wait on hold, and exactly what was discussed and (or) promised. Without details, you are screwed. BTW, you can buy your own CPAP machines and supplies online without a prescription. Setup is easy, just go to YouTube and they explain the easy steps, one by one, by make and model. To hell with these clowns.
My husband was discharged from rehab facility with Lincare as supplier of oxygen, tracheostomy supplies, etc. Took 2 weeks to get all the machines my terminally ill husband needed. He used a relative's machine. But worse is that they agreed to take responsibility for greeting him Jevity, liquid food since he was being tube fed. It never came and never came. All kinds of excuses: it has to be shipped from another location; the person who handles that is not here now/in the bathroom/on vacation. Or "I will check on it and call you back." I ended up buying it online for about 6 weeks till my sister-in-law who has worked in discharge planning in a hospital got it straightened out. Here I was dealing with a husband dying of cancer and I couldn't get a straight answer out of them. When your loved one is dying you don't need that kind of stress!
Linn care bought medical west's cpapservice and it has been down hill since. I have had the same cpap machine, order the same cpap supplies every 3 months. But today, Linn Care seems to think I need new order for aheated tube, mind you I have been getting this same tube for 3 yrs from them. Was hung up on once, transferred to their florida office twice... I live in Missouri where they have several offices and a large warehouse... no one knows anything there... I will transfer to another DME if possible... company is messed up... this is how you all make your money, why am I having to call YOU! Please do yourself a favor and go with anyone other than Lin Care.
Lincare closed their office in Centralia/Chehalis, WA. Since our service has been transferred to Lacey, WA they have failed to deliver ordered supplies, delivered tanks with leaky values or the wrong size that won't fit their back back.
I am ready to find a supplier that can handle my medical needs. Cutting off my oxygen supply for travels to my Drs appointments is not why my insurance pays these people.
It might be time to contact Medicare and my secondary insurance.
I'm a trach customer. Mr. Lincare, don't you care? About any of us? Read your reviews and sell the business to someone who knows how to handle us. We need a dependable supplier! Savannah, Georgia Lillian Weaver *******@planters.net
Ordered replacement CPAP, wanted another Resmed 10 due to compatibility with SoClean machines. Rep kept pushing Resmed 11. I asked multiple times about compatibility and was assured it was. Took 3 weeks back and forth with doctors office due to them losing paperwork. Another week for approval to be told 3 months for delivery. When I received the new CPAP, found it was not compatible with SoClean or any other cleaning devices, came with incorrect hose, and is basically a $1200 shelf ornament until I can get the correct hose to connect it to head gear. This has been typical of what to expect from this company. If you want horrible service from people who don't know their job this is the place for you.
Lincare used to be a 5 star operation. They were bought out last year and have gone down the toilet since then. Staffing appears to be inadequate, and the individual who delivered my mother's oxygen today both lied and was lazy. He lied about the oxygen machine he was delivering, and he acted as if he was doing me a favor by doing his job. He did not even deliver all the proper supplies for the machine. I hate to go back to Apria Heathcare but at least they are predictable with their incompetence. God help us when Obama Care fully kicks in.
I had to exchange my oxygen concentrator that from American Home Patient which was purchased by Lynn Care because of a malfunction.
They brought me an exchange concentrator that was very dirty. Dirty filters all through the machine. It was obvious that the main filter had not been serviced in the 44, thousand hours of past use. The concentrator they left me even has a musky order. I have made many phone calls to Lynn Care ( Hold time is ridiculous) with no results. No calls returned from Mgt. No response whatsoever. For seven nights I have slept setting upright because my O2 level drops to low if I lay down to sleep. One star on the review is to much for this company. D L Jax Fl...
I should've read the reviews here before engaging with the company. They literally don't care. In numerous phone conversation they didn't object to bill my CPAP device as a purchase. Yet after delivery they billed it as an installment, causing the cost to fall into my deductible. I had to return the device. I'm on my own without the device. Thank you Lincare.
Extremely rude delivery drivers especially over the phone. The person that called me for my patients delivery spoke to me like I was a 2 year old and when I asked him not to speak to me like that he actually laughed in my ear. I called and made a complaint and was supposed to be contacted by a supervisor, it never happened and still hasn't. So I have come to the conclusion that they are ok with that. I would not refer this company to anyone.
This company continues to send incorrect bills for both incorrect medical supplies and packages that I never received that they claim were sent. I have filed with the BBB and state attorney general. They need to be stopped! It is almost impossible to get in touch with anyone from billing. I have spent hours on hold and still unable to speak to anyone.
Do NOT do business with this company. They lie on a regular basis. They either blame or primary care for not completely paper work (which I know has been done as I have copies) or Medicare, which they shouldn't even be billing, since that is not our primary insurance. I only gave the 1 star because you can't give any negative stars. We are now asking our primary care for a referral to another company. I asked the guy on the phone today if there company was in trouble financially and he wouldn't answer. He didn't say anything. Save your self the aggravation and don't even start doing business with them. They are liars!
Dr ordered cpap machine though Lincare. 5 days after the order was placed they claim to have called me, but no one answered and no voicemail was set up. An outright lie: I have voicemail and a check of call logs on that day show no call from them. A month later I called to see what status was. They hadn't ordered the machine and informed me it will take an inordinate time due to shortage. They sat on their hands without trying to contact me for well over a month. If I didn't followup, this order would be sitting at Lincare forever. By the time the machine gets here it will be well over 4 months since my doctor ordered it. Totally unacceptable. Their incompetence and non-caring attitude makes me wonder how they stay in business.
It took two months to get my information transferred from Lincare in Rochester, MN to Lincaare, Nashville, TN and a dozen phone calls and emails. Doesn't the company know about fax machines. Snail mail would have been only a few days. Then the Nashville office never sent me any supplies. No filters, nothing!
Medicare told me I didn't have to use them for my supplies even though my machine came from them. I switched to Hometown Respiratory, a division of Aerocare and have received very good service. They call me on a regular basis to see if I need supplies.
You don't have to stay with lincare if you have already made the mistake!

OGM, the staff at the Peoria AZ office are the worst people I've ever encountered! My husband has been on liquid oxygen for 20 years, with Lincare for 5. The Lincare driver told him 2 weeks ago that in a few weeks, Lincare would stop providing his liquid oxygen because Medicare has made it financially impractical for them to continue delivering it. They would provide a concentrator, which my husband cannot tolerate. Two weeks later of being on pins and needles searching for a new provider, Brandy in the office still cannot tell us when they will be discontinuing the liquid. From drivers acting like doctors giving my husband bad medical equipment information to the office staff not giving a crap about their customers, this company gets a big fat F. Honestly, in spite of the major inconvenience, I'll be glad when my husband finds a new provider. If there was a negative star rating, they'd get it from me.
We bought a home concentrater top of the line from lincare in 2011 in needed service a week ago they had at that time promised to take care of repairs if needed they where no help and would not help us repair it! We will not get are business again! Lincare even wanted a prescription for oxygen tubing hose, we did find a company that would help us! We will pass the word around about lincare service
I tried to get some much needed medical equipment from this company for almost 4 months after speaking to a couple people and also I called corporate and spoke to a patient advocate a few times, but never returned my call after the 1st phone call so I never successful in getting the equipment that was needed so I call another company.
Lincare is the worst company I've ever dealt with & the women I was spoke with a couple time was so nasty and rude. Don't ever take your business to them. Oh the lady I ordered tank from & the guys that brings them to my home was ok.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state
Answer: You will not get satisfaction! I have struggled with this company for over one year because of Medicare requirements. Totally exasperating! Buyer beware!
Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
LinCare has a rating of 1.5 stars from 799 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with LinCare most frequently mention customer service, insurance company and portable oxygen. LinCare ranks 44th among Home Care sites.
