If you live in the real world, NO insurance company will pay the full price for oxygen concentrators...which leaves the out-of-pocket and co-payments up to the patient. Take a look at the outrageous amounts that LinCare charges per unit to the insurance company...upwards of $500.00 a MONTH.

Lincare charges what the insurance, medicare or otherwise tells them to charge. The statement might say billed medicare $500 for O2 concentrator. Truth is the medicare reimbursement is actually only $88 for an O2 concentrator.

Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state
