I have been 4.5 weeks without portable concentrator i was brought one a week ago that was dirty and cover had lint balls all over it i took it back now i have only a home concentrator and one tanks with no tank carrier, i would not recommend them hopefully i can change this week coming to different dme
Lincare set up a patient portal for customers to use. I tried setting it up, followed their instructions, and it wouldn't take my customer #, which I took off of my statement. I called thier toll free #, to be placed on hold for 10 minutes without and customer service. This is horrible customer service. Anythime you have to go through corporate, it's a fiasco. This isn't the first thing that they have done to me. I ended up calling my local Health care solutions (Lincare owns them) and they tried to help me, but at least I got to talk to someone on the phone you tried to help me. It ended that the lady that would probably be able to help me wasn't at her desk, but tole me they would call me back.
Can never get through on phone OR chat and if you DO "speak" to someone on chat, they are of NO help! Also, keep getting charged for things that should already be paid for, per EOB on insurance, and they automatically take the money out of my acct, then when question them about it, they refer it to their billing dept and say it will be taken care of in 1-2 business cycles, yet it is NEVER taken care of. I would rate less than one star if I could! Would do business with someone else, if it were an option!
Never available unless you have time to wait for hours for someone to answer your call. Chat online is also terrible. Can't help you or they say waiting to get you someone and then the website terminates you cause it's been idle for so long. Website problems.If I could give lincare a 00 I would. They have terrible equipment that in my opinion is unsafe. The concentrator has a noise level of 70 decibels which is way to high. Michelle Dayton OH office very rude. They never have the supplies you need. Customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Employees do not care about the customer. Stay clear!
The employees and customers are not valued whatsoever. CASH IS KING! Revenue is the only thing that matters to this company period. Heck we have not had a sign on the building in Sioux Falls for 2 years. We moved recently and corporate doesn't give a damn at all. Cost to much! Now when our annual raises are coming up they put them off until July. Seriously. We are already paid the worst in the industry! Management only cares about their bonus and they don't give any to the lower peons as we are only the working bees. They want more work out of you and no more pay for all the work you do. It's difficult to keep drivers due to the fact they have a camera on them and GPS so you don't screw around. The whole culture is rotten to the core. From the top down!
I am a retired nurse and have dealt with many suppliers in the past, but now that I needed the service managed to come up with the worst I've ever seen. It took weeks and weeks to get the service started initially and then it took months to get o2 tubing delivered despite numerous phone calls and now that I'm finished with it, I can't get them to pick up their equipment. What's going on? Are they still charging me for it even though it's been 2 months since I called to stop the service?
This company will harassing you by phone to no end. I have clearly stated I do not wish to buy products or supplies from lincare with the calls only increasing by the day. I do use call blocker with lincare using multiple numbers to have the call go through. The company has called at all hours not respecting my demands to cease the calls. If this continues I have spoken with an attorney to file a criminal complaint. I cannot recommend this company.
Terrible company. Absolutely no care and concern for the patient. Knowing I was c-pap dependent, failed to deliver supplies and failed to notify me for MONTHS. Forced me to buy supplies online despite having insurance. Please avoid this company at all costs!
I wish I could give them negative stars. Whenever I call, I'm either hung up on or on hold for 45 minutes, then hung up on. Not to mention I was told one of our patients wasn't in their system, however our office has received several confirmations and other faxes directly from Lincare regarding this patient. Either the reps are WAY undertrained or they just don't care. I don't know which is worse. Do better Lincare. You're letting a LOT of patients down.
I haven't received a billing statement from Lincare in months, so when I checked my bank account Lincare withdrew $341.00 saying it was from BCBS not paying the bill from part of 2023. I never got a statement saying that the insurance didn't pay the bill. Why am I having to find out by checking my banking and see where Lincare helped themselves to my bank account. They have never told me how they can just go into my account without my permission. Amanda was rude and kept talking over me when I was talking and lied and tried to say I signed something when I did not. A cpap machine that you have to pay $60 a month is outrageous. I will be giving back their cpap and will be buying my own. Stay away from this Company!
Billing is usually messed up. Shipping times can be 3 months for things you need. Usually send wrong products or more products than you ordered at very high prices! I even went to local store cause last time I order from their supply center it took three months. At store I told them why I wanted to order or pick up there. They didn't have what I needed in stock. So they ordered for me and have all my equipment info in computer. Two weeks later supplies show up and are for wrong machine! I called they said they would try to fix and call me back but never heard from them. This is typical! Preferred medical is much better but my insurance won't deal with them anymore. It's so hard to get cpap supplies I'm ready to throw my machine out the window! Even tho medically they say I need it. System is broken! Lincare is horrible!
Lincare has proven to be just as bad as past reviews indicate. Communication, changes in procedure, limited supply are just a few of the many issues encountered with this company. After two weeks of not receiving oxygen and being told by an employee to just stay home and use my concentrator, I finally got a hold of customer service rep (Melissa) who was able to get me my much needed oxygen within 3 hours. Thank you Melissa for supplying me with the great service I would expect from a company that supplies My oxygen. The lack of urgency by most of these employees is reprehensible. Oxygen for people like myself who need it 24/7 is and should not be considered an after though but a necessity. Without oxygen tanks I cannot leave my house to go shopping or get to the Pharmacy to pick up my medications. Lincare YOU can do BETTER!
Called three different times to get additional CPAP supplies. The third time I asked someone to call me back. After getting supplies from them for 8 years I am no longer a customer. Terrible customer service at the local branch in Norton VA and trying to get help from the call center. My last request for a password reset never showed up.
Today is my last day with Lincare. I was trapped with them for 10 years. The contract is for 5 years with Medicare and you have to get out on the last day or you are stuck for another 5 years. Today they are picking up the oxygen equipment; I asked what time they would be here at 10 am and again at 11 am the driver called at 11:30 to say he would be here at around noon.The woman I talked to at 11 am told me to just leave the equipment on the porch; yeah right, a few thousand dollars of medical equipment out for any porch pirate to steal and of course no receipt so they can come back in a week or two claiming they never got the stuff and I owe them. STAY AWAY FROM LINCARE.
I use Lincare for my husband's CPAP supplies covered by Medicare. In the "old days" they would reliably arrive on schedule... but no more. To reach the correct dept, you have to go through a litany of voice prompts (and when asked they have no tel. Extension to give you to use the next time). Apparently my husband's Rx needed to be renewed and instead of contacting me they sent a request to his doctor who left the practice 5 years ago (who, of course, did not respond). When I realized that it had been a while since I had received supplies I contacted them to give them the correct doctor contact. Still no supplies. Then I called again... some supplies arrived but not all. Then I called again... promised that the order would be completed... then again... more promises. I still don't know if I'll ever see supplies. I'm going to look for another supplier. I suggest the reader of this review do the same.
If you have any choice in your CPAP supplier go elsewhere. Their customer service department and phone system are atrocious. The wait times are extremely long and I often end up being disconnected or dropped calls before anyone comes on to speak with me.
The Libby office is horrible. Close early. Staff isn't helpful. Make appointment don't keep it or call to let me know. Machine should have been serviced in February it's July and still no service. Don't send bills. Awful company!
Profit before safety. Dishonest. Unethical. Unreliable. Poorly trained. Incompetent. Dangerous. Got a F from Better Business Bureau. If you google the company all you see are horror stories. Stay away from this company. Oxygen us too important and they don't seem to care or understand that.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
