I have nothing but praise for the service I have received from Lincare---more specifically from Mare in the Tucson, AZ office. She has always been very pleasant and accommodating. When I need assistance, she "gets the job done" and in a timely manner. She does what she tells you she will do and that is TOPS in my book. Her followup is fantastic. Mare is a great representative for Lincare!

I transferred to a different provider after several bad experiences. They were happy to take my money, or at least my insurance company's money, but that's all they were interested in. They didn't want anything to do with me. Avoid if you can. Tell your doctor to find you a different provider. You deserve to be treated better!
I am still waiting for my return of funds taken from my checking account. I have called and they make promises and promises. Maybe this company needs a good class lawsuit against them for being so much of a rip off.
I only gave this company 1 star because I cannot put zero. I have a consumer that has been trying to reach their representative since June (it is now almost October). The chair is defective and has been since he received it. The warranty runs out in November. Since June this consumer has left more than 50 messages for the representative to call him back. He will not respond. The consumer has called customer service and leaves messages for someone to call him but no one calls. I have been trying to help this consumer for days and cannot get to anyone that will help. They will only take messages that will not be returned.
Almost every call I have had with a Lincare rep. About missing CPAP supplies, incorrect CPAP supplies or defective CPAP supplies has been frustrating, disappointing and annoying. First, there is an unreasonable wait time. Second, if I start to mention problems with an Order, I frequently get disconnected. Third, I am placed on an unreasonable hold when I ask to speak to a supervisor. Fourth, the reps often do not make notes of the complaint, so the next rep. Does not have the history handy. Fifth, the reps do not follow through. For example, I had three phone calls to give notice about missing supplies and none of the three reps ever contact the correct department so that the warehouse could ship out the CPAP supplies it omitted from an order.
Company is about awesome staff at the Temple location. I use this company due to the professional and caring people that have been taking care of me for over 5 years. The receptionists in front (Angie and the new girl that trained under Angie) are so courteous and always go the extra mile to make sure you are taking care of well. They always make me feel important and truly demonstrated they really care about me and how to fix my problems. The patient care coordinator Darrell Smotek is outstanding, best instructor I have ever had. Answer all my questions, patient with me, very knowledgeable, very courteous and professional. I am a retired nurse, and I know when people go the extra mile, and this group at this location go way beyond to make sure everybody is well taking care of. Outstanding staff is what makes Lincare a great business to use.
My wife and I have CPAP machines ordered by or doctor through Lincare. They have the worst customer service I have ever received. They never get orders right, the send the wrong items and they always have the excuse that their computers are working properly or somebody entered the information wrong. I will be returning our machines and will never do business with this company again!
They have no customer service, none. If you have a problem, forget it, no one will return your call. Do without and hope to get service in a couple of days...
I would like to get rid of Lincare... The worst company I have ever seen...
I have been trying for four months to get refunded for an overpayment made to Lincare. I have consistently been given excuses and told that the check is in the mail. Ive spent multiple hours on the phone with them to get the situation rectified but never get anywhere. When ask to speak to someone who can take care of the situation, I am never given anyone else but the person who answered the call. Horrible company to deal with! Avoid them!
I agree with all the negative reviews. They simply do not care. My negative experiences has been with the central supply in Clearwater and several local offices. In general, they are inept, rude and do not follow up at all. It is amazing that a medical related supply house should perform so poorly and get so many negative reviews. They should be removed from Medicares list or at least be investigated. Do not use don't care. Try someone else!
Run --real fast--as far as your damaged lungs can take you away from this company. The probably should be investigated for Medicare fraud. Lack of response from branches in Salt Lake City, Wyomissing PA and corporate in Clearwater Fla. There are not words in the English language to express how terrible they are
I've had over six people on the phone tell me that they would get someone to call me back and they pretty much promised me been dealing with overpayment for months now forgot to bill me for an entire yearand then expect me to pay $591 which is not going to happen still have yet to get a call The last time somebody told me they would call me it's been 2 months worst company to ever deal with in my entire life
Hold your prescription for a month and don't call you. When you follow up for supplies they tell you they need a sleep study despite your doctor and insurance approving it with your current sleep study. It's like a pharmacy not filling your prescription because they know better then the doctor. Then hold it for another week and then deny having your prescription. Supervisors don't call you back and then make up information you know to be false. Every time you call nobody knows what's going on. Stay very far away if possible.
I would detail my complaints, but they would simply be a repeat of ALL the negative comments on this site. The interesting thing is that this company does not care. For some reason, which I will explore further, this company continues to be recommended by sleep disorder physicians. If recommended to you, DECLINE!
Customer service and follow through has been a nightmare! When Sleep Apnea machine/ equipment was delivered by R T, No information on supply ordering, usage compliance etc was given. Difficulty to get follow through on phone calls! Fax to Dr. Also sent to wrong Dr. and lost! Was without using machine for 4 weeks!
As long as I've been affiliated through linares I've never had an order sent to me on time and always had wrong delivery, so tired of Lincare. I will be contacting the AMA immediately and my insurance carrier!
They keep blaming problems on others but can't even order a wheelchair in less than two months. They complain they haven't received necessary documents from Doctor's office but Doctor's off has proof of delivery of the documents.
Takes forever to get someone on the phone. The billing department is a joke they refused to talk to me while the keep charging my account months after i had returned cpap and supplies. Customer service will talk will billing and then talk to you, which is not helpful because they cannot issue credits. Asked to speak with supervisor also she was away... they are afraid to talk to the customer because they are scamming and committing fraud. *MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS FOR THEIR BILLING*

I have been reading the reviews, and I agree that this is the worst company, I have ever dealt with. It has people working there that have no clue of what they are doing! I ordered a mask for my cpap machine many months ago. I keep getting, that they need more information? I have only given it to them about 10 times and they keep getting my doctors name wrong. They billed me for supplies after I notified them that my recalled machine had been replaced. They said it would take a while to get a return slip and 5 months later I have not received the return slip but instead they threaten to send my $173 bill to collections. I sent a certified letter to their headquarters and it was returned. Their address on the bill is a PO box so I can't even send a certified letter there. When you call the number on the collections threatening letter, you are on Hold for over 30 min. No recourse whatsoever.
Answer: Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state
Answer: You will not get satisfaction! I have struggled with this company for over one year because of Medicare requirements. Totally exasperating! Buyer beware!
Answer: Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.
Answer: DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.
