I purchased 3 items on one order (2 paintings and artificial flower), to minimise the cost of the shipment, only to find out that my order was sent in 3 separate packages!
Not only the paintings are of really poor quality (nothing like the pictures on the website), but I already paid £15 for flower delivery and £40 for one painting.
Now awaiting another painting - wondering when it will come and how much the stamp duty will cost me again!
On top of the things invoices sent with deliveries show some ridiculous details of sender and amounts that have nothing to do with what I paid!
Never again! Stay far away from this website!
Does anyone know how I can get at least partial refund for that shameful purchase? I paid with credit card...
Gorgeous pants! However. It does not fit even though it says size 42, it's 2 inches smaller and length is very short if I hemmed it. I would like to return it for a refund. Please walk me through how to do so. Thank you

Be aware that you might have to stump up more money to the courier -over £20 more in my case. About half the cost again. Courier said it happened a lot. Refused delivery and asked for refund. Was told they would subtract 50% as handling charge. All this despite paying the extra 'shipping and tax' tick in the box.
My initial attempts to deal with this problem through the contact pages were not successful. However after writing this report I was contacted by a real person and the matter was put right by way of a 'one off' credit of the excess fees. Once I got through to a real person it was dealt with well - thanks.
However, you do need to be aware of additional shipping costs

I tried returning a bathing suit that didn't fit, and by the time they added their shipping fee, restock fee, and then they added their overseas vendor shipping fee and restock fee as well. It was going to cost far more just to return the item than what I paid. Then they offer a 40% discount to keep it, so I took this option, however, they only refunded $7.20 (far from the 40% they offered) but only $4 appeared in my bank account as they apparently have additional hidden fees for this too. Terrible company, stay far away from LightInTheBox.

I discovered this site some time ago. Never have been disappointed so far.
I really like the discounts they offer and insurance for customs duties. I recommend it for everyone who wants to save money and buy great stuff online!
Lousy customer service not able to actually read a question and answer it properly.
Delivery times cannot be trusted. I paid extra for express delivery but received it much later.
The customs insurance is a night mare. I had to write 11 messages before getting my refund.

This company is very unfair when it comes to trying to return goods for a credit.
According to our customer trade here in NZ we should be able to return goods which are not fit for purpose. They want photos of why, you provide those than it's something else again

Today I received the A-line strapless wedding dress that I ordered from Light In The Box just last weekend. After reading some of the other reviews on here, I'll admit, I was a little nervous. The dress came way faster than expected. There were shipping and customs expenses, but that's to be expected when ordering from across the border. Anytime you order online, be prepared to pay a decent amount to customs, the government loves their taxes ;).
As for the dress... I am incredibly impressed. It is very well made, and is almost identical to the picture, the detail that has gone into it is fabulous and it fits great, despite the fact that I just ordered a generic size. The price, even after shipping and customs, was far less than I would have paid in any dress store. Altogether the originally marked $127 came to approximately $220 after all the charges. This dress could easily be sold at a local store for $800 or more. Well done Light In The Box!
Ordered some t-shirts from this company over a month ago and still no sign of my order. When ordered and paid for the items were shown to be in stock and one in fact said 'ships with-in 24 hrs' been a long 24 hrs. They have my order, they have my money and I so far only have this review. The bright side is that I used PayPal. So I'll give it till next week and then get the $$$ back via PayPal. However since the latest estimated date for arrival was 10-Jan-2023.? I won't be holding out must hope.

I was excited to make a purchase to only be disappointed later. Save yourself some stress and don't bother to order. You will receive the lowest quality product with a high shipping cost. Products are grossly misrepresented. When you submit a review, negative reviews are not posted. Customer Service will send you an email asking you to take a discount to keep this junk. When you refuse, you have to return to china, although the original product was shipped from the US.I spent over $200 dollars and received $25.00 worth of products.Don't get CATFISHED!

Ordered a top on 4/1/17, not received it yet. Complained, but they give excuses and put the blame onto the customer. Its a scam, I have informed PAYPAL, who are looking into it! I would never buy from them again!

Poor quality expensive products, terrible return policy. You have to pay expensive international shipping to return items to China or they will only give you 10% refund or 20% coupon to use for buying other things which is nothing for the high price they charge for the products. I will never buy from them again. When they first started the pricing was good and quality of products were much better. Now you pay high price for bad products.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
