I have bought many items from LightIn TheBox and I have never had a bad experience. The only thing to be careful of when ordering is size, I usually order a couple of sizes larger and this works.
Took too long to ship. The jacket is nice, but, the dresses were not as described. I got reemburst for one of them.

It turned out to be fake lether. I got skraches on the bag after three days of use. Totally worthless! Payed around 800 Swedish kronor inclusive the delivery. And the bag looks so cheap and plastic. What a shame!
In September of 2020, I ordered 2 couch covers, both brown. I received a BLUE one and a brown cover. I started the return process on 11/29/20. If you want to return something, you have to pay for shipping it back, with no guarantee that the Chinese postal system won't open your box and make the shipping label unreadable. They stated that once the item arrived in their warehouse they would process the exchange. I had recorded 2 months of tracking my packaged return from San Francisco, to Japan, to Bejing, back to China, and there it sat. I got the package returned to me in April of 2021. The shipping label had been ripped, the box had been opened, and my carefully packed box that I placed in another box was shredded. Now, granted, this part isn't Light In The Box fault, however, it is a part of the whole "customer experience". I should have received a refund for the part of the order that was wrong to begin with. They told me "Instead of a return, may we suggest you keep the item, to give it to a friend/family member or resell it at your local second-hand marketplace? We can provide the following solutions which are more beneficial and convenient for you than the return and it avoids you the return hassle". I wanted a brown cover, LIKE I ORDERED in the first place. I didn't want a store credit, because frankly, i am never shopping there again, and i don't suggest anyone else do the same. I paid $43.00 in shipping, this was never refunded either, because they never got the package. I feel their return policies are garbage. I followed their rules, even "returned" the item within 7 days. It's been 7 months, and I'm still mad enough to write this.
ETA: Light In the box responded very quickly to this complaint. I believe we have reached a mutual arrangement where I can state I am satisfied. Thank you, Rebecca for reaching out.

After a lengthy delay with Portuguese customs, I was delighted when my dress finally arrived.
I ordered a US size 10\UK size 14\EU 40 as per the sizing charts stating my correct measurements, I usually wear a US size 6-8\UK size 10-12\EU 36-38.
The dress itself came well wrapped and after a steam iron I'm sure all the wrinkles will drop out.
As I am longer in the leg and shorter in the body, I was expecting the bodice part of the dress to need a little adjusting, however due to the cowl neckline and the fact that the taffeta outer layer of dress is not attached to the inner bodice, this is something I can easily remedy myself without the need of a dressmaker.
The only SMALL bug bear with this dress is that the pockets are not of equal length on both sides. One is much deeper than the other. However, as I do not intend to walk around in this dress with my hands in my pockets it is something easily overlooked and forgiven.
Overall, very pleased with this dress.

I purchased a top and it was quality was horrible, nothing like its picture and then way too small. I tried to copy the picture of the item on the website but it does not allow it. So I wanted to return it and here are the options I was given at first: "A. Keep the item with a 50% reward. (eg. If the item costs 100, you can get a 50 Reward, which is the same as a Coupon). B. Keep the item with a 30% refund. (eg. If the item costs 100, you can get a partial refund of 30 as a discount)."
I told them I wanted a refund and provided tham all the information and the pictures of articles they requested. I informed them that I wanted a refund and here was their reply: "If you choose to return the item for a refund or exchange, please note that you will need to send it to our Asia warehouse using the most affordable tracked postal service available. Typically, postage costs range between $10-$30, and delivery can take between 2-4 weeks. Upon receiving the item and confirming its quality, we will promptly issue a refund or replacement."
However, if returning the item is too inconvenient, we suggest that you keep it and accept the Partial Refund or Reward that we previously offered. To show our commitment to resolving the issue, we are willing to increase our offer by an additional 20% if you choose either of these options. This way, you won't have to go through the return procedure at all." No matter which way you chose, you lose money.
This company relies on the manufacture to provide description and pictures. It appears they do not verify that what they're selling is what is advertised, at least in clothing. I will never purchase from this company again.

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
