This company is a scam.

Materials are so poorly made and far different from the original image of the site. Also, customer service info is fake. (No working addresses) I'll dispute this payment.

These folks refuse returns. They demand that you use their size guides - which led to the wrong items being purchased. Sadly, they are now refusing exchanges!

I am sorry for this disappointing shopping experience. Allow me to mention that there are only a few product categories that are not eligible for being returned. Unfortunately the ordered disguisements fall under the category 'cosplay', which the supplier doesn't accept back neither for refund nor exchange. It's also important to note that all our clothing is sold with their exact measurements --indicated in both inches or centimetre-- on the website. This allows ordering the clothing accurately. If you can prove by photographs that the measurements don't correspond with the size chart, then we will obviously accept the products back and we'll also cover your return expenses.

We have send you an email (ticket #24624940) to further handle this problem.

I ordered 2 items back in November and am still waiting Dec 15th and no update on the vague tracking information since Nov 26th. When I created a ticket and contacted them regarding my order, they replied on 12/14 saying "If you haven't received your order by 12/8, please let us know." I'm really sorry I ever placed the order with this site and am hoping someday it finally arrives. Hoping I don't have to start a dispute over this. Grrrr...

OK, so not long after posting this, Pinni contacted me from Light In The Box. She refunded half of my purchase price and I did finally receive the items about a week later. I think this is a company with great products at fabulous prices... It just takes a lot longer than expected to receive the items due to the shipping times from China. If you order from them, they're not a scam... just know that you're going to wait awhile for your product. Overall, I'm super happy with the items I ordered. :)

I ordered a digital thermometer paying $31.30 on july 20th 2020. The order no. **************.
It was supposed to arrive in 4-5 days. So far I did not get the material. How to track.? I went thrrough all the reviews which are not positive, calling the company as scam. I am sorry, this kind of fraud business wont lost long. Kindly send my material immediately and get good review from me.

NO GOOD

They make up their own sizes that are nonconforming. They make excuses and then ignore complaint saying ticket is resolved... Then said they couldn't identify the ticket... Any excuse not to accept returns and credit money back... Bad Chinese business... STAY AWAY,,,, FAR FAR AWAY... they will cheat you

I've used "Light In The Box" many times, and have found the following to be consistently true when shipping to Canada:
1. There WILL be an import/duty/tax fee imposed which is generally 1/4 to 1/3 the total cost of the items.
2. Returns are pretty much impossible.
3. Sizes generally run a bit small even compared to their size chart.
4. The images are spectacular compared to what you receive. Models are Asian and taller than average.
5. Customer service is prompt enough, but any refunds may, or may not, ever appear in your bank account.
6. Items are GENERALLY acceptable to high quality, though buyer beware... you GET what you PAY for.
7. The online version is more expensive than the app version.

Overall, if you order the "right items" you will be happy, but do watch the size chart, round up, and expect it to take about a month to arrive with additional fees for Canada.

Final Note: If you purchase the ~$5.00 insurance, they will refund your duties paid to get it into Canada once you've received your items. Those refunds were fast.

I was very sceptic as many others when I did my first purchase.And I will tell you why. Simply because it comes from China. Well if eastern companies continue to be so competetive and professional, the western world will soon drop that prejudice. Now after 10 purchases I have made I have no complaints and I am fully satisfied client of Light in the box.The products are true to the description on the website, they get delivered in reasonable time. I always choose super save shipping option and agree to wait few days more... My only disatisfaction has nothing to do with the company itself.It is the fact that I have a limit amount after which items get taxed on our side. So i tend to buy under that amount. Once I tried to ask them to lower the price for me and they didnt agreed which only proves my previous comment on being pro. I need to add that once they refunded me when the item was missing. I didnt go through any heavy duscussions.It was resolved easily.

Refund impossible

Items super small for size. Road blocks for getting a refund not very helpful. Willing to take our money but not give it back. Never again will I order from them

SCAM and False

If you canceled order in 24 hours though they dont refund you they sent email 20 percent cash back but it never comes. Why i canceled i ordered color hair strips in their site its 27 nz dollar same thing i saw in ali express 6 nz dollar now why i didnt cancel? Never recommended this site plz dont buy anything from here.

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund, on the condition that the package wasn't dispatched. Sometimes we might try convince you keeping the order with a small discount, depending on the situation. If I read right you've accepted to keep the order with a 20% cash refund. Nice but smaller than expected

The article is very nice, well done furr, looks like real wolfsfurr. I only expected it somewhat larger. It was ment to cover the upper part of a new santacoat. Now I´m not shure if it will suite for the purpose... we´ll see.

Light in a box is an RIP Off Company!

Ordered a dress which arrived looking completely different than what I had ordered. Requested to return and was told I needed to ship it back to China at my expense
They ten said they would refund half my money and could keep the dress
I failed to mention that the dress feels like it would fall apart after the first wear
Prior to ordering I found the company address in New Jersey but all correspondence is coming from a guy in china
As an update this rip off company has never responded to my request for a refund
DO NOT buy from them unless you like throwing your money away or want cheaply made products

Size, reviews, customer service, all a fraud

These guys think that screwing me out of $200 of worthlessly undersized and unlabeled clothing is all on me. They are mistaken. My sense is to be skeptical of their evals. I tried to workout a refund on their useless clothes, they agreed, suckered me in to releasing claim on PayPal, then ghosted me when it came time to refund. Not trust worthy.

This company seems fraudulent. I cannot find a phone number and my order has been paid for but is "not found" on the website. My tracking number is unknow.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone use this website unless you want to be ripped off.

Never Recieved the Item
February 5, 2016

I ordered a small, inexpensive item (THANKFULLY) and it never showed up. As it was, it said it was coming within 20-25 business days and I wanted it in time for Christmas. There is no contact information on the website so I couldn't even complain to them. I would NEVER risk ordering anything else from them. They also send about 3-4 e-mails a day.

Slow and unorganized!

Terrible service! I ordered many things for my son's birthday... well in advance (3 weeks before). Website indicated 5 to 9 days for DELIVERY. After a few weeks, I tried to contact them and cancel order. They did not cancel! Instead they offered me 25% discount ON SHIPPING, they opened a new ticket. I had to cancel 3 times before they would cancel.

I have reported this company to PayPal and my credit card company.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
