Just a Scam
December 20, 2016

By far the worst ecommerce brand on the planet.
I purchased an item from LightIntheBox on the 9/12 and the shipping was supposed to be 3 to 5 working days.
By the 20th of December, I still did not receive anything and the shipping period has been increased to 5 to 10 working days.
It looks I cannot cancel anymore the purchase and it looks difficult to directly contact the customer service.
I would highly suggest everyone avoid to buy from them.
Alternatively, you can try the service your self.

Christmas Scam
December 23, 2020

A Christmas scam. On Dec 2nd I ordered Christmas tshirts for my family to wear on Christmas morning for fun. I placed the order around a blaze of Christmas advertising promises of "order now, in time for Christmas", etc, etc.
Well, guess what? Its Christmas eve, and no sign of the order!:(
SCAM! Very disappointing.

Before I ordered my stuff for my trip to Hawaii I looked and the shipping and delivery time. (Not what they said it would be) then one of the items they took off and said I would get a refund nothing as of yet now the items is back on the shelf
I'm not happy cause my stuff that I was to take on my trip won't be here until I'm in Hawaii.
Will I order from them again definitely not!

It's a dogy company!
Stay away from them‼
Don't buy anything from them‼‼
They will blame you if you never receive the parcel!
They will never dispatch the parcel, and as compensation, they will offer you 30% cash and some uses voucher for 50%. Which means they already still it from you 20%.
They have totally useless hardly English speaking customer service.

Please be noted it was not we did not send you order. The order was not shipped to you because you provided wrong shipping address. Your correct address was in Poland while you provided a shipping address in "UK" when you placed this order. As a result, the package was delivered at an address in UK. We even did not have any chance to get back this package.

If the package was not delivered due to our fault, we'd like to issue a full refund or a reshipment for customers. But this order was not delivered due to your personal reason (wrong address). Based on our policy, usually we could not return you any order price.

However, we truly valued you as our customer and tried to find a special solution for you: When you contacted us via Facebook, we offered you 30% order price refund plus 50% order price rewards as special compensation. You accepted this solution. So we thought we had reached to an agreement. Sorry to find we did not.

But we still want to help you further and get this problem resolved to your satisfactory degree, even though we did not make any mistake.

I will not order from Light in the Box Again. Ordered 2 faucets through Light in the Box. First one ordered and then site had no record of the order of my signing up. After 3 weeks, I ordered same faucet again. First faucet showed up 4 weeks after initial order and was defective. Second item took so long that I had to purchase another faucet locally and put aside second one to use at a later date. After trying to use the second one, it is also defective. I am a contractor and can not wait weeks for delivery of defective items.

I ordered an item and after I completed and submitted the order I decided I wanted another one. So I went through the order process again. LightinTheBox took the trouble to query my second order and was willing to assist to cancel it if I had double ordered by mistake. I replied that the 2nd order was to be processed which the company did promptly. The 2 orders were received separately well within time frame expected. The communications between myself and LightinTheBox was great. Great Customer service. Well done.

You get what you pay for.

I wear a lot of hats but had trouble finding one that matched an outfit I had. Found one on Light in the Box. It was cheap so I don't know what I was expecting. The hat arrived in an package envelope so it was crushed & misshapened. The bow was detached but had Velcro to attach. Unfortunately it was the same side Velcro so it doesn't stick. I understand now why there aren't any product reviews on the website.

That is the review I wanted to post on thier sistem, but it doesnt allow me to do this. Hi, I hope you will not fall into this system. I paid for the product and expedited shipping. I received in 1 month a product that cost 2.5 times less expensive than what I paid. The only solution resolution center was re sending to me is to send product back to China that will cost another 200$ to receive a refund. I paid insurance for taxes, receive bill from DHL more than 100$ with no refund from the system. Be aware it is only pictures that you are seeing and paying for. And I am going to post it on any site that contains fair review of your service. Thanks god I didnt order anything more. I could have lost so much money.

I would like to warn people to buy in lightinthebox.
I buy two radio in promotion, but lightinthebox cancel my order without any information and any explanation. It is not fair, becouse I buy it with according to the rules.
Be cereful if you wont to buy something in this shop. Contact with staff is very difficult. I received refund after 2 weeks, but it is in all situation does not matter.
I moved to another street, so it is even bigger trouble.

AVOID THIS SHOP!!!!!

Think before you do it
August 10, 2022

I ordered $184 in shirts, paid for them, and they sent my order to a address that I did not give them.
I emailed them for 2 months wondering where my order was. Finally they told me that my order was sent, but to the wrong address and now want me to send them more money to resend my package.
This company sucks!

Sweatsuits

I am telling you my wife paid over 1 hundred dollars for these 2 sweatsuits not at all happy material trash and double sticking do not I reapeat do not pay for there attire I am very much upset and we cannot even get in touch to return for our money's very unprofessional. I been a customer for this site for 4 years. There service WAS great, but lately there shipping service is bad and slow.
When I order I make sure that I choose a good and fast shipping method, and check the estimated time for processing and shipping, but after I place the order I find out that this is bunch of lies
I been receiving my orders weeks late and via a bad shipping company different than the ones I choose.
I used to love this site but now I will never buy for it.

If I could give them no stars, I would. Got the dress after the event. No refund until I returned it to CHINA, even though it was shipped from NY. That was in June/2022. Sent it to the EXACT address they gave me, doublechecked with USPS, cost me 28.85$ more. Today Jan 24/2023, got it back REFUSED. I have a serious hate going. Thank God for Catherine's, I looked gorgeous at my son's wedding.

I deliberately ordered 2 exact pairs of shoes for my grandchildren and the website decided, unbeknownst to me, that one pair should be a different colour. When I requested return information as there was a 14 day free return policy, I received nothing but useless responses and finally a link to download the return form which DOESN'T WORK! I am completely dissatisfied with this company and will never order anything again!

Delivery is 10-20 days maximum (28 calendar days) according to website rules.
My order delays over 65 days. It's not normal.
I opened ticket after 30 days of delivery and manager Alexandru asked me to wait one month more - until 23/03/2018. Today is 27/03/2018 I asked to help me with my order, that not delivered yet and another manager Betty ask me to wait month more (till 23/04/2018).
I think this shop just take your money and do not want to be responsible for the product if it's not delivered.
Do not buy at this shop if you want to keep your money.
