This is a reasonably decent site for buying/selling but the minute you need assistance with customer service, you might as well cancel you account and move on, as I have done. 6 months into an active account, all of the sudden my clients were all texting, "What happened?" "Where is your account and listings?" To my dismay and with zero advance notice, some genius in LETGO decided to mark my account "pending modification" which also sends emails to all active clients this message,"This Buyer no longer wants to buy your item, better go find another buyer or seller" WOW, not only did it take them 48 hours to realize they screwed up and attempt to reinstate my account, they mispelled my email address by 2 letters making it impossible for me to edit, add or delete any listings! 15 emails and 9 days later, they still are clueless as to how to correct their mistakes, and I am convinced their customer service dept consists of one poor fellow named SIMON that can do nothing other than send me the same blanket email on how to change my email address even though for 9 days I have told him in the shortest words and smallest concepts that isnt possible for me to do, since they messed this account up to begin with and when i attempt over and over and over to follow their inane comments, just get the same email, "this account is already registered so no luck" Wow, what a joke, honestly I can sayI have wasted so much time just to be foiled by ignorance in the useless customer servicee department. Go to Offerup or 5 miles, anything but this useless site! Save yourself the eye twitching

I seriously think it's a shame because let-go is one of the only apps out there that does not bother anyone, They allow their users to post ads freely without being flagged and removed for nothing,...
And we all know how frustrating that can be!
The problem is that they have a poor setup,
The app needs a new interface.
Like for instance they should do away with all of the buttons, because I personally have had people message me back when I never messaged them in the first place, and it turns out that I simply hit the button by mistake.
Secondly they need to make it easier for people to post things on their website, like for instance when I first started posting you hit the button and sometimes it's hard to understand how to post on there, or once you post you have to at the end edit the ad, or even something as simple as uploading pictures it is a huge task on let-go.
We are in an age where people like things fast and easy I think because it's hard and because it's tricky to figure out how to post on let-go that is the reason why many people are pushed away from this amazing app.
I can only hope that that let-go gets this info and listens, because seriously they are the only platform that's out there that does not bother their users and I love that.
The main problem is that there are absolutely no buyers on let-go... none whatsoever!
I post ads all the time and I feel like I'm doing it for practice or something, because I never ever sell anything on let-go.
I just get a lot of "likes" for the items that I post it's like Facebook for sellers or something, people just browse on letgo and like things but never purchase anything. I find it quite ridiculous sometimes!
Anyways I digress
My point is that I think let go is one of the best apps out there and if they just change their app setup and make it easier for the user they will attract more users and it would be a great place to buy and sell.

The site itself lets you do absolutely nothing except search and chat. Why are all the options even there? All they do is tell you to go download their app when you click on them presumably to inflate their app numbers. The thing is not everyone is using a smartphone!

Then if you are using a smartphone at try the app you will get a bunch of hits on your items. With some asking if the item is for sale, if it works, is it a negotiable price (even if you list it as fixed). Then when you respond nothing. They just disappear.

I had an item that I went out to actually sell to someone. We agreed to meet somewhere at a certain time. The guy didnt show up. I ask the guy on the app if he was on his way and he was like "I just got of work and decided to head to the gym". I am thinking "WTF guy!?". He then had the gall to say "I will give you an extra $10 to meet me here for the sale." I told him to the deal was for this spot and this time... no deal. The dude wanted me to seriously drive an extra 20min out of my way AFTER waiting for him for 30min. I was not happy.

Over the last few weeks I have posted at least 25 items with great response but with people asking me if I could do better on the price or how negotiable I was. If I was asking $100 they would offer me $5... I have sold a few items but usually at a greatly discounted reduced price. I am amazed at how many people do not respond back after saying they are interested. They offer you a much lesser price rarely get back to you when you agree to their price and this is all being done in a timely fashion. They ask you to hold on to the item that they don't have the money right now and will get back to you when they have the money, you wait a day or two and still they don't let you know or they block you. As I said I have sold a few items on here at a greatly reduced price but most of the ads go unanswered by those first interested in the item. It's difficult for me to rate this site I'm not sure if it's the people the buyers or the site itself but people don't have a problem sending you nothing more than a $5 number on an item you are asking $100 or more... it's amazing that people can be that heartless. Everybody wants a good price on a quality item and I understand that but what I just don't understand is the mentality of the people that are on there. They don't think twice when offering you a ridiculous number. I had at least 16 people interested in one of my items that I was selling for $140 selling on eBay and Amazon for as much as $250 recently and the best price I got was $70 from three different buyers who all failed within a 48 hour to respond when I eventually agreed. They don't respond with me even though it was them who made the offer and I accepted. There are a great number of scammers that show themselves by their use of cashier's checks, money orders even personal checks it's wise not to accept them and only do business by meeting and accepting cash only. As I repeatedly said I have sold things at highly reduced prices but never once did I get my full price and I thought my pricing was very very fair. I wish you all the very best of luck and I will continue to use letgo with the hopes that things get a little better. It's very frustrating to do business this way although the application itself is very easy...

How are you stupid enough to get scammed, of course only except cash, nowhere anymore yakes checks, lol. Use your brain. Dint trust anybody $#*!s. And you have to expect people to bother you if you want to sell something.if you arent willi g to deliver at a decent distance then you realy dont want to sell or you need to tell them right away in your add that it has to be picked up. Safer to meet somewhere anyway. Problem im having with sight is it likes to load my cover pic wrong and not update with whatever im updating add with and it likes to double listings, and you have to click, list, becore you get to put description which is stupid. You have to understand, at least around bama, intelligence is scarce... So people dont know how to read the info or look at all the pics correctly so im always answering questions that are already answered by the add or picture. Also everybody wants stuff for cheap, i have almost brand new stuff listed for half the price, quality stuff too, and they want it for nothing. Know how to deal and haggle before you expect the app to do all the work for you. It works, just maybe not the way you dreamed it would.
