Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

After a delay in my order due to a manufacturing error, I requested my glasses to be overnighted. I got a response telling me I would have to pay for it! I responded that that's ridiculous and the rep relented and said it would be overnighted. But you then overnighted it to the wrong address! It was sent to where I've had glasses sent in the past, but not my new address. Unreal. Regardless, my glasses are lost nearly 6 weeks after my order. I would like a full refund. Luckily the glasses I sent you were inexpensive (keepers), but I would like an additional $40 reimbursed to cover the cost of those, too.
Jovelyn kept me informed of the progress of my order, and I am very pleased with the results of the final product.
Left eye was out of focus for reading on progressive lens. Several attempts to provide proper photos for pupillary distance resulted in return of my first set of lens. Second set of lens have improved reading vision in my left eye slightly. I am disappointed but not surprised with the poor fit.
I was really excited about getting my Spectacles and after they arrived after countless emails and over 1 month of waiting... I was not disappointed. Overall they were good and the quality is nice. The way period sucked and didn't feel like I was updated enough until I asked
It took a second go-around but my new lenses work just fine, I'm a happy camper.
Ordered 3 pairs of lenses and it took a long time to revive my lenses due to repeat issues in production (according to their site).
When received - one set of lenses have flaws in the coating / scratches… the other set the frames were bent out of shape and Cleary heated to fit the lenses, even though the frames specifically are labeled to "cold glaze" on the temp lenses in them. This ruined the frame
Nice lenses, reasonable cost, took a little longer than I expected but worth the wait.
Beautiful mirrored xtra-active transition lens, just a little to dark for wearing inside my wife claims compared to her non mirrored Xtra-active lens.
One of the pairs of frames I sent was missing a nose pad. I asked if they could add one for me. I never got a response and after waiting for at least a month. It still wasn't replaced. That was disappointing given th amount of money spent already. I felt that I should have at least gotten an email response. That was disappointing.
I am so impressed with my lenses. They did an excellent job from the customer service to the follow-up. They also provide you an extra pair of lenses. Great job Lensabl! I am so impressed and happy with my purchase. If you need lenses definetlt use this company.
Overall, the experience I have received has been good. Couple of suggestions I have to make this process run a bit smoother though. First, there's seems to be a big deal on PD measurements - mine didn't specify. I think it's bothersome to have customer taking pics of themselves, send it to lensabl, especially if there are multiple orders going on (If a PD is way off it'll be on the RX). Second, seems like the lab is taking way too long to process these orders? I get QC, but if it's a matter of hiring more folks to expedite orders perhaps this should be considered? Third, how about a "live chat" or 800 number? Seems a bit strange to only be able to reach customer service via e-mail, especially with all the tech driven apps we have now.
Lastly, I think the company is onto something good here, cool concept and thus far my glasses I've received look great -- company just needs to tweak things a bit. -- "Free advice from a business exec".
My first experience with Lensabl was seamless! The initial process was extremely easy. I received my frames within two weeks: they have crystal clear lenses and came with a really cool collapsable case. Definitely sending my next pair of frames here.
I placed my order Sept 2 and didn't receive the glasses back until Oct 17. Part of it was my fault - I shipped the box to our old address. I contacted CS and they sent out a new box to the right address away. It was easy and fast to get my new box. I believe you received my glasses around Sept 20. I kept checking how long it was to process my glasses and it kept saying it would ship in 6 days. I know due to COVID that things are slower to I let it be. But sometime in Oct it seemed way too long. I emailed and found out that there was a quality issue with my glasses. This is were I feel like you dropped the ball - I wish I would have received an email saying exactly that there was a quality issue and things would have been delayed (and would be another 6+ days...). I didn't really like that I figured this out by contacting customer service - all while the dashboard for my order was saying it would ship/process in 6 days. I've used you before and it was great and I will probably use you again... I am just disappointed with the lack of communication with the quality issue and wish the dashboard reflected the correct processing time.
Alex at the Lensabl Customer Care Team helped me with Pupil Distance and Segment Height. Lenses are perfect.
Please with the out come only thing it took longer to complete then I expected... but over all good job I would definitely use your services again
You received my frames on August 14,2020 and after a 6 weeks you admitted to me that you broke my frames. Even though you sell frames I was asked to find replacement frames and send you a link to find them. I just received my glasses today (10/19/2020). You don't provide a phone number or email address to request an update or speak to a customer service person. I have had several pairs of glasses completed by Lensabl and they have all taken about a month to receive. The moral to the story is don't use Lensabl if you need your glasses relatively soon.
Even though I rank your service and business model fairly low because of all of the delays and an absence of customer service I am satisfied with the final glasses.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
