Lensable is consistently remarkable with every aspect of getting my news lenses from start to finish. And of course the lenses are perfect.
I am super impressed with Lensabl and the overall quality of my progressive lenses. It's sometimes not easy to get these just right, and mine are perfect. The transitions are good, peripheral vision is great, and the Tyvex lens is lightweight. My only critical comment is that the other measurements needed are not easy to obtain. I was lucky because I had those on the original prescription for these glasses, and the measurements differed for the right and left eyes. There is no way to account for this with the DIY measurement instructions.

There was a delay in shipping the box for my frames and another delay in shipping my glasses with the new lenses. Therefore it took an over a month from the date of order to my receiving my glasses. However, I am satisfied with the new glasses and I understand that progressive lenses take longer to make.

Before ordering these replacement lenses, I had sent you my prescription and a description of the glasses (in that they were OnGuard safety glasses). The prescription clearly showed the prism, and knowing that they were safety glasses, it could be assumed that they were Z87 (once you received my frames, the Z87 stamps are visible under a cursory inspection).
Probably 2 or 3 weeks after you received my frames, you informed me that you needed another $20 because you "just noticed" that the prescription included a "prism." Again, you had the prescription BEFORE you even had my frames, so why didn't you see the "prism?" I sent the payment even before I received your "money request." When I DID receive your actual request, I sent the $20 AGAIN (yes, I received a refund of the first $20).
A week or two later, you asked me for another $20 to pay for the Z87 stamp (which I sent almost immediately). Again, you've had the frames for probably a month! You just noticed?
About a week later, you again asked for the $20 for the stamp. When I told you I had already sent it, you wanted a printout of my PayPal transactions (which I sent within minutes).
All these delays could have been eliminated with ONE phone call to a customer service representative.
Also, your "Only send one e-mail" policy is worrisome in that I don't know if "things are moving along," or if you're waiting for something. Perhaps you could/should acknowledge receipt of payments--that way, I would know that you're not "waiting on me."
I had to send my original order back because the specifications were off, but received the corrected pair back quickly and they were perfect. Thank you!
I've ordered two pairs of glasses from Lensabl, with the exact same prescription and they came back differently. The 'reading' portion on my most recent pair of progressives is obviously incorrect, compared to my first pair I ordered (again, with the same prescription) When I switch back and forth between the two, I can only read with the first pair you sent. Very frustrating and I probably won't choose Lensabl in the future.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
