I have been using Lensabl for many years, and I continue to be satisfied with the glasses that I have received.
Very happy with Lensabl - This is the third pair of glasses that I have ordered from Lensabl and have been very happy with my previous results.
A little difficult getting my script input correctly. Otherwise, all went well.
I first ordered Apr 3rd I got my finished glasses back broken on May 20th. They contacted me about shipping back the broken frames with the new lenses on August 6th I finally got my finished glasses on August 15th.
Total wait time 134 days.
Using this 2 step method is certainly not the fastest but it sure saves you money, on a pair of backup glasses for when I smash my first pair which the local store made me pay a kings ransom for.
After taking my order and payment, which included the frames Make and model number as asked, I was told they could not use the frames. I could get a refund, minus a deduct, or choose frames from their website. I chose Under Armour sport frames as they most resembles the Maui Jims frames I sent for my lenses. I received them today and the UA frames were youth sized. No where on the web page did it say they were youth sized. I'm pretty upset.
Order was processed quickly and as specified. Instructions were easy to follow.
I had a scratched lens, sent glasses in and they lens was quickly fixed and returned. Great customer service
Sent in my frames to put updated Rx in them and I receive an email saying my frame description doesn't match what I sent, but would I like lenses installed in the frames they thought were mine? So I guess they mixed up my glasses with someone else's. But when I tried to contact them in response to their inquiry, I get another email saying do not send multiple e-mails on the same issue and that someone will e-mail me back the outcome. (Meh, customer service options) I would prefer to speak with someone at that point. They have a chat option but it was not as effective as speaking with someone. (my opinion)

Shopping was great. Brought 3 pairs at this point. Problem came when a frame broke.
It was easy to make the order but the turn around time is a little long.
The process is very simple, fast and worth every penny spent. They made my favorite non prescription sunglasses my favorite accessory with prescription lenses that I could actually see out of. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

I used Lensabl to add Transition lenses to my sunglasses, hoping for a versatile pair that adapts to different lighting conditions. Unfortunately, the lenses don't get dark enough, especially in bright sunlight, leaving me squinting more than I'd like. I wish I had gone with regular sunglasses lenses for better protection and comfort. A bit disappointing for what I was hoping to achieve.

Loved the Lensabl experience! They send you a box to ship your frames with clear instructions. I will say, I did feel it took a while to return, but it is well worth the wait. My glasses are fantastic! I look super chic with trendy frames, but I can see crystal clear and the tint is PERFECT.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
